Generalized matching theorems for closed coverings of convex sets

In this paper we use fixed point and coincidence theorems due to Park [8] to give matching theorems concerning closed coverings of nonempty convex sets in a real topological vector space. Our new results extend previously given ones due to Ky Fan [2], [3], Shih [10], Shih and Tan [11], and Park [7].

本文利用ασ仿紧子集的概念,给出了在正则空间条件下,仿紧空间在连续闭映射下的原象是仿紧空间的一个充分条件．这一结果,统一推广了高国士教授与陈必胜教授在两篇论文中的结果．     

遗传中紧空间与散射分解

本文证明了可数仿紧(中紧、亚紧)空间有类似Junnila的刻画，遗传中紧空间不具有类似Junnila的刻画，并给出了每个散射分解有紧有限的开膨胀的充要条件．     

A new look at some classical theorems on continuous functions on normal spaces

A sufficient condition for the strict insertion of a continuous function between two comparable upper and lower semicontinuous functions on a normal space is given. Among immediate corollaries are the classical insertion theorems of Michael and Dowker. Our insertion lemma also provides purely topological proofs of some standard results on closed subsets of normal spaces which normally depend upon uniform convergence of series of continuous functions. We also establish a Tietze-type extension theorem characterizing closed G _δ -sets in a normal space. Densely Continuous Forms in Vietoris Hyperspaces

For countably paracompact normal spaces X and locally compact separable metric spaces Y, a characterization is given for the closure of the set of densely continuous forms from X to Y in the hyperspace of nonempty closed subsets of X × Y under the Vietoris topology. This shows that for such X having no isolated points, every closed subset of X × R that is dense over X can be Vietoris approximated by a semicontinuous function on X.     

关于完全仿紧空间的一些刻画

本文在Ｔ１正则的条件下得到了完全仿紧空间的一些等价刻画,并利用所得到的刻画证明了这类空间的一个可数乘积定理。     

Base-cover paracompactness

Call a topological space base-cover paracompact if has an open base such that every cover of contains a locally finite subcover. A subspace of the Sorgenfrey line is base-cover paracompact if and only if it is . The countable sequential fan is not base-cover paracompact. A paracompact space is locally compact if and only if its product with every compact space is base-cover paracompact.
