Integrated information theory (IIT) provides a mathematical framework to characterize the cause-effect structure of a physical system and its amount of integrated information (). An accompanying Python software package (“PyPhi”) was recently introduced to implement this framework for the causal analysis of discrete dynamical systems of binary elements. Here, we present an update to PyPhi that extends its applicability to systems constituted of discrete, but multi-valued elements. This allows us to analyze and compare general causal properties of random networks made up of binary, ternary, quaternary, and mixed nodes. Moreover, we apply the developed tools for causal analysis to a simple non-binary regulatory network model (p53-Mdm2) and discuss commonly used binarization methods in light of their capacity to preserve the causal structure of the original system with multi-valued elements. 相似文献

We provide an example of a strictly subcritical multiclass queueing network which is unstable under the least attained service (LAS) service protocol. It is a reentrant line with two servers and six customer classes. The customer interarrival times in our system are bounded below and have finite exponential moments, while the corresponding service times are deterministic. Recently, the discovery of vanadium-based kagome metal AV3Sb5 (A= K, Rb, Cs) has attracted great interest in the field of superconductivity due to the coexistence of superconductivity, non-trivial surface state and multiple density waves. In this topical review, we present recent works of superconductivity and unconventional density waves in vanadium-based kagome materials AV3Sb5. We start with the unconventional charge density waves, which are thought to correlate to the time-reversal symmetry-breaking orders and the unconventional anomalous Hall effects in AV3Sb5. Then we discuss the superconductivity and the topological band structure. Next, we review the competition between the superconductivity and charge density waves under different conditions of pressure, chemical doping, thickness, and strains. The commonly used multi-center initiation methods always lead to the formation of quantities of homopolymer in the surface tailoring based on reverse atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and reversible addition-fragmentation chain-transfer (RAFT) polymerization. In this study, a monocenter redox pair constructed of silica bearing tert-butyl hydroperoxide groups and ascorbic acid (SiO2-TBHP/AsAc) was applied to substitute the commonly used initiation method of R-supported RAFT grafting polymerization. All the propagating radicals were restricted on the surface of solid particles during the whole procedure theoretically, resulting in a higher grafting efficiency of 95.1% combined with the “controllable” feature at 10 h. This redox pair was also used to initiate the reverse ATRP in miniemulsion successfully with a grafting efficiency of 86.3% at 10 h. The grafting efficiency obtained under this monocenter initiation method was significantly higher than that of the frequently reported surface modification by reverse ATRP and RAFT polymerization. In addition, the high-efficient surface tailoring was traced and confirmed by nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, thermogravimetric analysis, transmission electron microscopy, and other analysis tests. 在准化学模型框架下, 假设有序原子对同时具有可区分与不可区分的双重属性, 首先构造了双重短程有序准化学模型, 然后讨论了该模型所能满足的各类理论极限. 经总结提炼, 提出了有序原子对的对立统一理论. 基于该理论, 进一步将双重短程有序准化学模型做了一般化推广, 开发了多重短程有序准化学模型. 该模型能够有效描述二元熔体中存在多重短程有序构型时的热力学行为. 选取了至少存在两重短程有序构型的Bi-K熔体来检验模型的合理性和可靠性. 结果表明, 除配位数外, 只需4个模型参数就能合理再现该二元熔体所有的热化学数据. 相似文献

采用聚醚改性三硅氧烷表面活性剂、 丙烯酸酯改性硅油和水3种组分制备了稳定的油包水(W/O)乳液, 经酸碱催化水解、 紫外引发聚合和干燥除水过程得到了双网络多孔有机硅弹性体. 扫描电子显微镜(SEM)分析结果表明, 所制备的有机硅弹性体具有丰富的孔径结构分布. 压缩强度测试结果表明, 弹性体具备良好的耐压缩性能, 45%压缩应变下循环50次, 仍具备良好的回弹性能. 有机硅弹性体具有优异的耐高温性能, 分解温度为370 ℃, 高于绝大多数多孔有机硅弹性体材料的分解温度. 丙烯酸酯改性硅油的制备工艺成熟、 廉价易得, 显著降低了多孔有机硅弹性体的生产成本, 为规模性开发有机硅材料提供了新的思路和应用前景. 相似文献

Heteroaryl boronic acids and esters are extremely important and valuable intermediates because of their wide application in the synthesis of marketed drugs and bioactive compounds. Over the last couple of decades, the construction of highly important heteroaryl carbon-boron bonds has created huge attention. The transition-metal-free protocols are more green, less sensitive to air and moisture, and also economically advantageous over the transition-metal-based protocols. The transition-metal-free C−H borylation of heteroarenes and C−X (X=halogen) borylation of heteroaryl halides represents an excellent approach for their synthesis. Also, various cyclization and alkyne activation protocols have been recently established for their synthesis. Benefiting from the development of hyperspectral imaging technology, hyperspectral image (HSI) classification has become a valuable direction in remote sensing image processing. Recently, researchers have found a connection between convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and Gabor filters. Therefore, some Gabor-based CNN methods have been proposed for HSI classification. However, most Gabor-based CNN methods still manually generate Gabor filters whose parameters are empirically set and remain unchanged during the CNN learning process. Moreover, these methods require patch cubes as network inputs. Such patch cubes may contain interference pixels, which will negatively affect the classification results. To address these problems, in this paper, we propose a learnable three-dimensional (3D) Gabor convolutional network with global affinity attention for HSI classification. More precisely, the learnable 3D Gabor convolution kernel is constructed by the 3D Gabor filter, which can be learned and updated during the training process. Furthermore, spatial and spectral global affinity attention modules are introduced to capture more discriminative features between spatial locations and spectral bands in the patch cube, thus alleviating the interfering pixels problem. Experimental results on three well-known HSI datasets (including two natural crop scenarios and one urban scenario) have demonstrated that the proposed network can achieve powerful classification performance and outperforms widely used machine-learning-based and deep-learning-based methods. 相似文献

Vehicular communication networks are emerging as a promising technology to provide high-quality internet service such as entertainment for road users via infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) communication, and to guarantee road users’ safety via vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) communication. Some technical issues that impact the performance of these networks are the lack of or poor communication paths between vehicles, and the limitation of radio resources. Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as promising solutions for supporting vehicular networks could provide communication coverage in hazardous environments and areas with no capacities for installation or maintenance of ground base stations (BSs). Also, non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) methods can improve spectral and energy efficiency and thereby allow more users to be connected to the desired network. In this paper, exploring the NOMA, we develop a scheme for optimum resource allocation in presence of a UAV that supports vehicular communications. Resource allocation for this scenario is formulated as a mixed-integer non-linear programming (MINLP) problem. Due to the high complexity of such problems, we propose two low-complexity near-optimal methods. First, we apply difference-of-concave-functions (DC) approximations to solve the problem in an iterative process. Next, we use Stackelberg game-based method for efficient solving, and then, closed-form expressions of optimal power allocations using KKT-conditions are derived. Simulations illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme along with the Stackelberg game-based method. 相似文献
