As one of the most attractive non-radiative power transfer mechanisms without cables,efficient magnetic resonance wireless power transfer(WPT)in the near field has been extensively developed in recent years,and promoted a variety of practical applications,such as mobile phones,medical implant devices and electric vehicles.However,the physical mechanism behind some key limitations of the resonance WPT,such as frequency splitting and size-dependent efficiency,is not very clear under the widely used circuit model.Here,we review the recently developed efficient and stable resonance WPT based on non-Hermitian physics,which starts from a completely different avenue(utilizing loss and gain)to introduce novel functionalities to the resonance WPT.From the perspective of non-Hermitian photonics,the coherent and incoherent effects compete and coexist in the WPT system,and the weak stable of energy transfer mainly comes from the broken phase associated with the phase transition of parity-time symmetry.Based on this basic physical framework,some optimization schemes are proposed,including using nonlinear effect,using bound states in the continuum,or resorting to the system with high-order parity-time symmetry.Moreover,the combination of non-Hermitian physics and topological photonics in multi-coil system also provides a versatile platform for long-range robust WPT with topological protection.Therefore,the non-Hermitian physics can not only exactly predict the main results of current WPT systems,but also provide new ways to solve the difficulties of previous designs. 相似文献

The Janus monolayer transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) $MXY$ ($M={\rm Mo}$, W, $etc$. and $X, Y={\rm S}$, Se, $etc$.) have been successfully synthesized in recent years. The Rashba spin splitting in these compounds arises due to the breaking of out-of-plane mirror symmetry. Here we study the pairing symmetry of superconducting Janus monolayer TMDs within the weak-coupling framework near critical temperature $T_{\rm c}$, of which the Fermi surface (FS) sheets centered around both $ărGamma$ and $K (K')$ points. We find that the strong Rashba splitting produces two kinds of topological superconducting states which differ from that in its parent compounds. More specifically, at relatively high chemical potentials, we obtain a time-reversal invariant $s + f + p$-wave mixed superconducting state, which is fully gapped and topologically nontrivial, $i.e.$, a $\mathbb{Z}_2$ topological state. On the other hand, a time-reversal symmetry breaking $d + p + f$-wave superconducting state appears at lower chemical potentials. This state possess a large Chern number $|C|=6$ at appropriate pairing strength, demonstrating its nontrivial band topology. Our results suggest the Janus monolayer TMDs to be a promising candidate for the intrinsic helical and chiral topological superconductors. 相似文献

The dual-channel nearly perfect absorption is realized by the coupled modes of topological interface states (TIS) in the near-infrared range. An all-dielectric layered heterostructure composed of photonic crystals (PhC)/graphene/PhC/graphene/PhC on GaAs substrate is proposed to excite the TIS at the interface of adjacent PhC with opposite topological properties. Based on finite element method (FEM) and transfer matrix method (TMM), the dual-channel absorption can be modulated by the periodic number of middle PhC, Fermi level of graphene, and angle of incident light (TE and TM polarizations). Especially, by fine-tuning the Fermi level of graphene around 0.4 eV, the absorption of both channels can be switched rapidly and synchronously. 文章从超冷原子研究的视角出发,回顾了用"从下到上"的方案来开展量子模拟研究的历史。超冷原子作为宏观量子态,各个自由度精确可控,是量子模拟的绝佳平台。光晶格将冷原子物理和凝聚态物理融合起来,是其中最重要的技术之一,为超冷原子量子模拟提供了一个扎实的落脚点。近年来,关于拓扑量子模拟的研究日益兴起,成为超冷原子量子模拟新的重要方向。文章介绍这方面近期的一些工作进展。最后分享作者对超冷原子量子模拟的一些思考。 相似文献

First-principles calculations based on the density functional theory were performed to systematically study the electronic properties of the thin film of antimony in (111) orientation. By considering the spin-orbit interaction, for stoichiometric surface, the topological states keep robust for six-bilayer case, and can be recovered in the three-bilayer film, which are guaranteed by time-reversal symmetry and inverse symmetry. For reduced surface doped by non-magnetic Bi or magnetic Mn atom, localized three-fold symmetric features can be identified. Moreover, band structures show that the non-trivial topological states stand for non-magnetic substitutional Bi atom, while can be eliminated by adsorbed or substitutional magnetic Mn atom. 相似文献
