本文研究近严格凸与最佳逼近的关系．证明了Ｂａｎａｃｈ空间Ｘ是近严格凸的当且仅当Ｘ的每个子空间是紧－半－切比晓夫空间．  

Orlicz空间的近端点和近严格凸性

本文给出了Orlicz函数空间中近端点的判别准则，近而推出了Orlicz函数空目近严格凸性的判别准则.另外，本文还直接给出Orlicz序列空间近严格凸的判别准则.  

The fixed point property for mappings admitting a center

We introduce a class of nonlinear continuous mappings in Banach spaces which allow us to characterize the Banach spaces without noncompact flat parts in their spheres as those that have the fixed point property for this type of mapping. Later on, we give an application to the existence of zeroes for certain kinds of accretive operators.
