We consider the inverse problem of identifying a general source term, which is a function of both time variable and the spatial variable, in a parabolic PDE from the knowledge of boundary measurements of the solution on some portion of the lateral boundary. We transform this inverse problem into a problem of solving a compact linear operator equation. For the regularization of the operator equation with noisy data, we employ the standard Tikhonov regularization, and its finite dimensional realization is done using a discretization procedure involving the space $L^2(0,\tau;L^2(Ω))$. For illustrating the specification of an a priori source condition, we have explicitly obtained the range space of the adjoint of the operator involved in the operator equation. 相似文献

This paper proposes a method for solving optimisation problems involving piecewise quadratic functions. The method provides a solution in a finite number of iterations, and the computational complexity of the proposed method is locally polynomial of the problem dimension, i.e., if the initial point belongs to the sufficiently small neighbourhood of the solution set. Başar and Braha [1], introduced the sequence spaces $\breve{\ell}_\infty$, $\breve{c}$ and $\breve{c}_0$ of Euler-Cesáro bounded, convergent and null difference sequences and studied their some properties. Then, in [2], we introduced the sequence spaces ${[\ell_\infty]}_{e.r}, {[c]}_{e.r}$ and ${[c_0]}_{e.r}$ of Euler-Riesz bounded, convergent and null difference sequences by using the composition of the Euler mean $E_1$ and Riesz mean $R_q$ with backward difference operator $\Delta$. The main purpose of this study is to introduce the sequence space ${[\ell_p]}_{e.r}$ of Euler-Riesz $p-$absolutely convergent series, where $1 \leq p <\infty$, difference sequences by using the composition of the Euler mean $E_1$ and Riesz mean $R_q$ with backward difference operator $\Delta$. Furthermore, the inclusion $\ell_p\subset{[\ell_p]}_{e.r}$ hold, the basis of the sequence space ${[\ell_p]}_{e.r}$ is constructed and $\alpha-$, $\beta-$ and $\gamma-$duals of the space are determined. Finally, the classes of matrix transformations from the ${[\ell_p]}_{e.r}$ Euler-Riesz difference sequence space to the spaces $\ell_\infty, c$ and $c_0$ are characterized. The theoretical considerations published in the literature lack generalizable statements on the efficiency. Based on R. W. We propose to reduce the (spectral) condition number of a given linear system by adding a suitable diagonal matrix to the system matrix, in particular by shifting its spectrum. Iterative procedures are then adopted to recover the solution of the original system. The case of real symmetric positive definite matrices is considered in particular, and several numerical examples are given. This approach has some close relations with Riley's method and with Tikhonov regularization. The presence of Weibel instability in laser-irradiated fuel could be detrimental to the process of ablative implosion, which is necessary for achieving thermonuclear fusion reactions. In this paper, the effect of the Coulomb collisional within the turbulent plasma on the Weibel instability growth rate has been investigated for linear and circular polarization. The results indicate that the Weibel instability growth rate at circular polarization near the ignition centre of the fuel fusion (collisional plasma) is about 105 times higher than the collisional Weibel instability growth rate at linear polarization. The Weibel instability growth rate is observed near the critical density of the fuel fusion (collisionless plasma) at linear polarization and enhancement near the foot of the heat in front of the fuel fusion. By increasing the steps of the density gradient plasma in the low-density corona, electromagnetic instability occurs at a higher stress flow. Therefore, the deposition condition of electron beam energy in circular polarization of turbulent plasma can be shifted to the fuel core for suitable ignition. 相似文献

We investigate the method of conjugate gradients, exploiting inaccurate matrix‐vector products, for the solution of convex quadratic optimization problems. Theoretical performance bounds are derived, and the necessary quantities occurring in the theoretical bounds estimated, leading to a practical algorithm. In this paper, we develop a simplified hybrid weighted essentially non-oscillatory (WENO) method combined with the modified ghost fluid method (MGFM)
[31] to simulate the compressible two-medium flow problems. The MGFM can turn
the two-medium flow problems into two single-medium cases by defining the ghost
fluids state in terms of the predicted the interface state, which makes the material
interface “invisible”. For the single medium flow case, we adapt between the linear
upwind scheme and the WENO scheme automatically by identifying the regions of
the extreme points for the reconstruction polynomial as same as the hybrid WENO
scheme [55]. Instead of calculating their exact locations, we only need to know the
regions of the extreme points based on the zero point existence theorem, which is
simpler for implementation and saves computation time. Meanwhile, it still keeps
the robustness and has high efficiency. Extensive numerical results for both one
and two dimensional two-medium flow problems are performed to demonstrate the
