Biquandles are algebraic objects with two binary operations whose axioms encode the generalized Reidemeister moves for virtual knots and links. These objects also provide set theoretic solutions of the well-known Yang-Baxter equation. The first half of this paper proposes some natural constructions of biquandles from groups and from their simpler counterparts, namely, quandles. We completely determine all words in the free group on two generators that give rise to (bi)quandle structures on all groups. We give some novel constructions of biquandles on unions and products of quandles, including what we refer as the holomorph biquandle of a quandle. These constructions give a wealth of solutions of the Yang-Baxter equation. We also show that for nice quandle coverings a biquandle structure on the base can be lifted to a biquandle structure on the covering. In the second half of the paper, we determine automorphism groups of these biquandles in terms of associated quandles showing elegant relationships between the symmetries of the underlying structures.  相似文献

We study a class of diffusion processes, which are determined by solutions X(t) to stochastic functional differential equation with infinite memory and random switching represented by Markov chain Λ(t): Under suitable conditions, we investigate convergence and boundedness of both the solutions X(t) and the functional solutions Xt: We show that two solutions (resp., functional solutions) from different initial data living in the same initial switching regime will be close with high probability as time variable tends to infinity, and that the solutions (resp., functional solutions) are uniformly bounded in the mean square sense. Moreover, we prove existence and uniqueness of the invariant probability measure of two-component Markov-Feller process (Xt,Λ(t)); and establish exponential bounds on the rate of convergence to the invariant probability measure under Wasserstein distance. Finally, we provide a concrete example to illustrate our main results.  相似文献

In the present paper, we apply the method of invariant sets of descending flow to establish a series of criteria to ensure that a second-order nonlinear functional difference equation with periodic boundary conditions possesses at least one trivial solution and three nontrivial solutions. These nontrivial solutions consist of sign-changing solutions, positive solutions and negative solutions. Moreover, as an application of our theoretical results, an example is elaborated. Distance between two vertices is the number of edges in a shortest path connecting them in a connected graph G. The transmission of a vertex v is the sum of distances from v to all the other vertices of G. If transmissions of all vertices are mutually distinct, then G is a transmission irregular graph. It is known that almost no graphs are transmission irregular. Infinite families of transmission irregular trees of odd order were presented in Alizadeh and Klav?ar (2018). The following problem was posed in Alizadeh and Klav?ar (2018): do there exist infinite families of transmission irregular trees of even order? In this article, such a family is constructed.  相似文献

In this paper, we analyse the (2+1)-dimensional KdV and mKdV equations. Firtly, on the basis of the extended Lax pair, we derive these equations. The dynamics of a non-linear electro-magneto-mechanical coupled system is addressed. The non-linear behavior arises from the involved coupling quadratic non-linearities and it is explored by relying on both analytical and numerical tools. When the linear frequency of the circuit is larger than that of the mechanical oscillator, the dynamics exhibits slow and fast time scales. Therefore the mechanical oscillator forced (actuated) via harmonic voltage excitation of the electric circuit is analyzed; when the forcing frequency is close to that of the mechanical oscillator, the long term damped dynamics evolves in a purely slow timescale with no interaction with the fast time scale. We show this by assuming the existence of a slow invariant manifold (SIM), computing it analytically, and verifying its existence via numerical experiments on both full- and reduced-order systems. In specific regions of the space of forcing parameters, the SIM is a complicated geometric object as it undergoes folding giving rise to hysteresis mechanisms which create a pronounced non-linear resonance phenomenon. Eventually, the roles played by the electro-magnetic and mechanical components in the resulting complex response, encompassing bifurcations as well as possible transitions from regular to chaotic motion, are highlighted by means of Poincaré sections.  相似文献
