含分布时滞的时滞微分系统多步龙格-库塔方法的时滞相关稳定性

本文研究了一类含分布时滞的时滞微分系统的多步龙格-库塔方法的稳定性.基于辐角原理，本文给出了多步龙格-库塔方法弱时滞相关稳定性的充分条件，并通过数值算例验证了理论结果的有效性.     

Coupling characteristics of laterally coupled gratings with slots

Laterally-coupled ridge-waveguide distributed feedback lasers fabricated without epitaxial regrowth steps have the advantages of process simplification and low cost. We present a laterally coupled grating with slots. The slots etched between the ridge and grating area are designed to suppress the lateral diffusion of carriers and to reduce the influence of the aspect-ratio-dependent-etching effect on the grating morphology in the etching process. Moreover, the grating height in this structure can be decreased to lower the aspect ratio significantly, which is advantageous over the conventional laterally coupled ridge waveguide gratings. The effects of five main structural parameters on the coupling characteristics of gratings are studied by MODE Solutions. It is found that varying the lateral width of the grating can be used as an effective way to tune the coupling strength; narrow slots (100 nm and 300 nm) and wide ridge (2 μm-4 μm) promote the stability of grating coupling coefficient and device performance. It is important to note that the grating bottom should be fabricated precisely. The comparative study of carrier distribution and mode field distribution shows that the introduction of narrow slots can strengthen the competitive advantage and stability of the fundamental mode.     

Decay rate for viscoelastic wave equation of variable coefficients with delay and dynamic boundary conditions

In this paper, we consider a viscoelastic wave equation of variable coefficients in the presence of past history with nonlinear damping and delay in the internal feedback and dynamic boundary conditions. Under suitable assumptions, we establish an explicit and general decay rate result without imposing restrictive assumption on the behavior of the relaxation function at infinity by Riemannian geometry method and Lyapunov functional method.     

High refractive index hyperbranched polyvinylsulfides for planar one‐dimensional all‐polymer photonic crystals

We report on the growth and characterization of one‐dimensional (1D) planar all‐polymer photonic crystals (PhC) with high dielectric contrast (Δn = 0.3) prepared by spin coating using hyperbranched polyvinylsulfide polymers (HB‐PVS) as high refractive index material and cellulose acetate as low refractive index material. Solution processable HB‐PVS show a near ultraviolet absorption inducing an increased refractive index in the visible‐near infrared (n = 1.68, λ = 1000 nm). HBPVS:Cellulose Acetate Distributed Bragg Reflectors show a very clear fingerprint of the photonic band gap possessing the expected polarized dispersion properties as a function of the incidence angle. Moreover, engineered microcavities tuned on the weak fluorescence spectrum of the HB‐PVS show directional fluorescence enhancement effects due to spectral redistribution of the emission oscillator strength. The combination of all these properties testifies the high optical quality of the obtained photonic structures thus indicating HB‐PVS as an interesting material for the preparation of such PhC. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Optimal harvesting policy of a stochastic predator–prey model with time delay

This paper concerns the optimal harvesting of a stochastic delay predator–prey model. Sufficient and necessary conditions for the existence of an optimal control are established. The optimal harvesting effort and the maximum value of the cost function are obtained as well. Some numerical tests are given to illustrate the main results.     

FLTD三电极场畸变气体开关寿命特性

针对设计的一种场畸变气体开关,研究中间电极材料分别为不锈钢和黄铜条件下的烧蚀特性,结合开关寿命期间静态与触发特性的变化规律,获得决定开关寿命的关键因素,为三电极场畸变气体开关的性能优化提供理论支撑。研究结果表明,采用不锈钢和黄铜作为中间电极的烧蚀区域以及表面粗糙度均随着放电次数增加而增大,黄铜电极烧蚀较为严重且表面有明显的烧蚀圆斑,不锈钢电极则具有更高的表面粗糙度,阴阳极表面烧蚀存在明显差异,随着放电次数的增加,击穿点向电极边缘区域集中,影响开关的沿面绝缘特性,是导致开关寿命终结的主要原因。     

Stochastic delay foraging arena predator–prey system with Markov switching

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce white noise, telegraph noise and time delay to the two-dimensional foraging arena population system describing the prey and predator abundance. The aim is to find out how the interactions between white noise, telegraph noise and time delay affect the dynamics of the population system. Firstly, the existence of a global positive solution is verified. Then the long-time properties including the stochastically ultimate boundedness, extinction and some other asymptotic pathwise estimation of this population system are studied. Finally, the main results are illustrated by two examples.     

具有非线性传染率和时滞的随机SIQR计算机病毒模型的渐近行为

研究了一类具有非线性发生率和时滞的随机SIQR计算机病毒模型.首先证明了该系统具有唯一的全局正解,然后通过构造适当的Lyapunov函数并利用伊藤公式,分析了该模型的解在无病平衡点附近及地方病平衡点附近的渐近行为,最后通过数值模拟对随机系统解的渐近行为做了进一步的分析并给出了结论.     

Side Information Generation Scheme Based on Coefficient Matrix Improvement Model in Transform Domain Distributed Video Coding

In order to effectively improve the quality of side information in distributed video coding, we propose a side information generation scheme based on a coefficient matrix improvement model. The discrete cosine transform coefficient bands of the Wyner–Ziv frame at the encoder side are divided into entropy coding coefficient bands and distributed video coding coefficient bands, and then the coefficients of entropy coding coefficient bands are sampled, which are divided into sampled coefficients and unsampled coefficients. For sampled coefficients, an adaptive arithmetic encoder is used for lossless compression. For unsampled coefficients and the coefficients of distributed video coding coefficient bands, the low density parity check accumulate encoder is used to calculate the parity bits, which are stored in the buffer and transmitted in small amount upon decoder request. At the decoder side, the optical flow method is used to generate the initial side information, and the initial side information is improved according to the sampled coefficients by using the coefficient matrix improvement model. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed side information generation scheme based on the coefficient matrix improvement model can effectively improve the quality of side information, and the quality of the generated side information is improved by about 0.2–0.4 dB, thereby improving the overall performance of the distributed video coding system.
