In this work, we present and analyze a mathematical model for tumor growth incorporating ECM erosion, interstitial flow, and the effect of vascular flow and nutrient transport. The model is of phase-field or diffused-interface type in which multiple phases of cell species and other constituents are separated by smooth evolving interfaces. The model involves a mesoscale version of Darcy’s law to capture the flow mechanism in the tissue matrix. Modeling flow and transport processes in the vasculature supplying the healthy and cancerous tissue, one-dimensional (1D) equations are considered. Since the models governing the transport and flow processes are defined together with cell species models on a three-dimensional (3D) domain, we obtain a 3D–1D coupled model.  相似文献

Indisputable importance of drug solubility in various industrial perspectives has motivated the scientists to evaluate different techniques to improve it. Fenoprofen is a significant nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), that is the orally administered to relieve mild to moderate pain and the unfavorable symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis (i.e., inflammation and stiffness). Supercritical fluids (SCFs) belong to a certain type of fluids, in which their temperature and pressure are higher than the critical point. This property allows the CO2SCF to simultaneously possess the characteristics of both a liquid and a gas. The prominent target of this paper is to mathematically develop three predictive models via machine learning (ML) technique to optimize the solubility of Fenoprofen in CO2SCF. In this study, we have 32 data vectors in each dataset, including two input features of pressure and temperature. The output target is solubility, which we are going to model and analyze. Models are constructed through the use of Modular ANN (MANN), Gaussian processes regression (GPR), and the K-Nearest Neighbor technique (KNN) in this body of work. The glowworm swarm optimization (GSO) swarm-based method is utilized in order to carry out the process of model optimization. The root mean squared error (RMSE) rates for GSO-KNN, GSO-MANN, and GSO-GPR are respectively 5.25E-04, 5.46E-04, and 3.01E-05. The aforementioned models were also judged according to a number of other criteria, and since the GSO-GPR model was found to be the most effective according to all of these standards, it is being treated as the conclusive model of this investigation. In addition, the maximum error has been brought down to 5.02E-05 with the help of this model, which has an R2-score of 0.999.  相似文献

This paper infers from a generalized Picone identity the uniqueness of the stable positive solution for a class of semilinear equations of superlinear indefinite type, as well as the uniqueness and global attractivity of the coexistence state in two generalized diffusive prototypes of the symbiotic and competing species models of Lotka–Volterra. Owing to the influence of the viscosity of the flow field, the strength of the shedding vortex decreases gradually in the process of backward propagation. Large-scale vortexes constantly break up, forming smaller vortexes. In engineering, when numerical simulation of vortex evolution process is carried out, a large grid is needed to be arranged in the area of outflow field far from the boundary layer in order to ensure the calculation efficiency. As a result, small scale vortexes at the far end of the flow field cannot be captured by the sparse grid in this region, resulting in the dissipation or even disappearance of vortexes. In this paper, the effect of grid scale is quantified and compared with the viscous effect through theoretical derivation. The theoretical relationship between the mesh viscosity and the original viscosity of the flow field is established, and the viscosity term in the turbulence model is modified. This method proves to be able to effectively improve the intensity of small-scale shedding vortexes at the far end of the flow field under the condition of sparse grid. The error between the simulation results and the results obtained by using fine mesh is greatly reduced, the calculation time is shortened, and the high-precision and efficient simulation of the flow field is realized.  相似文献

基于微通道板电子倍增电荷分割型阳极的成像探测器常用于行星大气、气辉等微弱信号探测。针对探测器读出电路增益不相等导致探测器成像产生畸变的问题,利用理论分析结合MATLAB仿真揭示了不同畸变图像的形成机制,在该基础上提出了一种探测器读出电路增益补偿方法减小探测器成像畸变。通过MATLAB仿真和实验测试结果表明该文提出的方法能够有效减小由于读出电路增益不相等导致的探测器成像畸变。  相似文献

Here we propose and analyze a mathematical model that aims to describe the marble sulphation process occurring in a given material. The model accounts for rugosity as well as for damaging effects. This model is characterized by some technical difficulties that seem hard to overcome from a theoretical viewpoint. Therefore, we introduce some physically reasonable modifications in order to establish the existence of a suitable notion of solution on a given time interval. 蜂窝夹层结构在轻量化设计领域一直备受关注,相关的理论研究也日趋完善。然而,很多研究主要集中在平面蜂窝夹层结构上,而对于曲面结构的相关研究甚少。本文对双曲面蜂窝夹芯进行了力学分析,建立了曲面蜂窝夹层板的等效力学模型,同时建立了双曲面蜂窝夹层板详细模型和基于三明治夹层板理论以及曲面夹层板理论的等效模型,最后通过有限元方法对详细模型和等效模型在各工况下进行了分析和对比,从而验证曲面夹层板等效力学模型的准确性。结果表明,曲面夹层板等效力学模型对曲面类型蜂窝夹层结构具有更好的适用性,同时对近平面结构也有相当的适用性。  相似文献

In this paper we perform a critical analysis of the Orch OR consciousness theory at the crossroad with the newest experimental results coming from the search for spontaneous radiation predicted by the simplest version of gravity-related dynamical collapse models. We conclude that Orch OR theory, when based on the simplest version of gravity-related dynamical collapse, is highly implausible in all the cases analyzed. We discuss the implications of our findings, the limitations, and future plans toward the development of more realistic gravity-related collapse models.  相似文献
