Current three-dimensional micromixers for continuous flow reactions and nanoparticle synthesis are complex in structure and difficult to fabricate. This paper investigates the design, fabrication, and characterization of a novel micromixer that uses a simple spatial Tesla valve design to achieve efficient mixing of multiple solutions. The flow characteristics and mixing efficiencies of our Tesla valve micromixer are investigated using a combination of numerical simulations and experiments. The results show that in a wide range of flow rates, viscoelastic solutions with different concentrations can be well mixed in our micromixer. Finally, experiments on the synthesis of chitosan nanoparticles are conducted to verify the practicability of our micromixer. Compared with nanoparticles prepared by conventional magnetic stirring, the size of nanoparticles prepared by micromixing is smaller and the distribution is more uniform. The coordination chemistry of f-block elements (lanthanide and actinide) in molten salts has become a resounding topic in view of its great importance to the research and development (R&D) of molten salt reactors and pyroprocessing. In this Review article, a general overview of the coordination chemistry of f-block elements in molten salts is provided including past achievements and recent advances. Particular emphases are placed on the oxidation state, speciation, and solution structure of f-block metal ions in molten salts, as well as their relationships with the salt composition. A solution of a histone-like protein from Spiroplasma melliferum (HUSpm) was examined by small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The experimental SAXS curve was compared with those calculated for the HUSpm structures from the PDB databank obtained by both X-ray diffraction analysis and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. The model of the HUSpm structure in solution, which best agrees with the experimental SAXS data, has a shorter distance between the centers of mass of the HUSpm monomers compared to the crystal structure, indicating that the HUSpm monomers can be located closer to each other in solution than in the crystalline state. 相似文献

This paper is concerned with the viscous liquid–gas two-phase flow model in a three-dimensional exterior domain with the slip boundary conditions. We are able to prove the existence of a global strong solution when the initial total energy is suitably small. The initial masses of liquid and gas are allowed to contain a vacuum, with no extra restriction between the initial masses of liquid and gas. It should be noted here that we consider the slip boundary condition in a three dimensional (3D) exterior domain which is in sharp contrast to result of Yu (2021) where they consider the Cauchy problem. 相似文献

Here we propose and analyze a mathematical model that aims to describe the marble sulphation process occurring in a given material. The model accounts for rugosity as well as for damaging effects. This model is characterized by some technical difficulties that seem hard to overcome from a theoretical viewpoint. Therefore, we introduce some physically reasonable modifications in order to establish the existence of a suitable notion of solution on a given time interval. 扩大成像视野对于开展充水容器中弹体入水冲击波传播及弥散方面的可视化研究具有重要的实际意义。阴影成像技术适用于大视野实验,且对流场冲击波和扰动的可视化研究具有简单性和通用性,其中直接阴影成像最为简单,但可靠点光源的缺乏是阻碍其发展应用的瓶颈。因此基于国产短弧氙灯管,自制了短弧氙灯点光源,根据阴影成像原理,设计出一种弹体入水冲击波阴影成像可视化系统,详细介绍了其组成和运行原理。利用该系统对高速弹体入水进行了试验研究,获得了弹体入水冲击波的阴影成像和冲击波信号的压力时程曲线,通过阴影成像和冲击波信号相结合分析了弹体入水冲击波的传播特性,并进行了理论验证。结果表明:该弹体入水冲击波阴影成像可视化系统具有可靠性和设计的合理性。弹体高速入水后,初始冲击波的强度最大,随着冲击波的传播,冲击波强度逐渐降低,水中冲击波的传播速度不断降低,球形冲击波的半径逐渐增大。 相似文献
