von Neumann’s inequality in matrix theory refers to the fact that the Frobenius scalar product of two matrices is less than or equal to the scalar product of the respective singular values. Moreover, equality can only happen if the two matrices share a joint set of singular vectors, and this latter part is hard to find in the literature. We extend these facts to the separable Hilbert space setting, and provide a self-contained proof of the “latter part”.  相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to introduce iterative algorithm which is a combination of hybrid viscosity approximation method and the hybrid steepest‐descent method for solving proximal split feasibility problems and obtain the strong convergence of the sequences generated by the iterative scheme under certain weaker conditions in Hilbert spaces. Our results improve many recent results on the topic in the literature. Several numerical experiments are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of our proposed algorithm, and these numerical results show that our result is computationally easier and faster than previously known results on proximal split feasibility problem.  相似文献

In this work, we discuss the coupled modified nonlinear Schrödinger (CMNLS) equation, which describe the pulse propagation in the picosecond or femtosecond regime of the birefringent optical fibers. By use of the Fokas approach, the initial‐boundary value problem for the CMNLS equation related to a 3×3 matrix Lax pair on the half‐line is to be analyzed. Assuming that the solution {u(x,t),v(x,t)} of CMNLS equation exists, we will prove that it can be expressed in terms of the unique solution of a 3×3 matrix Riemann‐Hilbert problem formulated in the plane of the complex spectral parameter λ. Moreover, we also get that some spectral functions s(λ) and S(λ) are not independent of each other but meet a global relationship.  相似文献

For a closed symplectic manifold (M,ω) with compatible Riemannian metric g we study the Sobolev H1 geometry of the group of all Hs diffeomorphisms on M which preserve the symplectic structure. We show that, for sufficiently large s, the H1 metric admits globally defined geodesics and the corresponding exponential map is a non-linear Fredholm map of index zero. Finally, we show that the H1 metric carries conjugate points via some simple examples.  相似文献

Motivated by applications to machine learning, we construct a reversible and irreducible Markov chain whose state space is a certain collection of measurable sets of a chosen l.c.h. space X. We study the resulting network (connected undirected graph), including transience, Royden and Riesz decompositions, and kernel factorization. We describe a construction for Hilbert spaces of signed measures which comes equipped with a new notion of reproducing kernels and there is a unique solution to a regularized optimization problem involving the approximation of L2 functions by functions of finite energy. The latter has applications to machine learning (for Markov random fields, for example).  相似文献

We find conditions for the boundedness of integral operators K commuting with dilations and rotations in a local generalized Morrey space. We also show that under the same conditions, these operators preserve the subspace of such Morrey space, known as vanishing Morrey space. We also give necessary conditions for the boundedness when the kernel is non-negative. In the case of classical Morrey spaces, the obtained sufficient and necessary conditions coincide with each other. In the one-dimensional case, we also obtain similar results for global Morrey spaces. In the case of radial kernels, we also obtain stronger estimates of Kf via spherical means of f. We demonstrate the efficiency of the obtained conditions for a variety of examples such as weighted Hardy operators, weighted Hilbert operator, their multidimensional versions, and others.  相似文献
