Growth of high-quality ultra-thin Ag film is of great interest from both scientific and technological viewpoints. First, ultra-thin metal fihns are model systems utilized to investigate quantum size effects (QSE). When the film thickness is comparable to the Fermi wavelength of an electron, quantized energy lev- els known as quantum well states are produced in the surface normal direction. High-quality metal films with uniform thickness can effectively suppress in- homogeneous broadening of the thickness-dependent quantum levels to manifest quantum size effects. Secondly, Ag is the most widely used material for sur- face plasmonic devices, and high-quality Ag films have already shown the capability of supporting surface plasmon propagation fbr an extremely long distance. Moreover, ultra-thin Ag films can act as an excel- lent substrate for integrating various nano and low- dimensional structures. For instance, silicene, which is a two-dimensional (2D) sheet composed of silicon similar to graphene, has recently attracted intense attention. Ag (111) surface is widely recognized as the most important substrate suitable for the growth of silicene, while Ag films are much more cost-effective candidates for expensive single crystal Ag(111) sub- strates. 相似文献

The use of the dipole force on atoms is a new technology that is used to build nanostructures. In this way, a high quality standard nano-grating can be obtained. Based on the semi-classical model, the motion equation is investigated and the trajectories of atoms in double half Gaussian standing wave field are simulated. Compared with the Gaussian standing wave field, the double half Gaussian standing wave can well focus the Cr atoms. The equation of motion of two-level chromium atoms in Gauss standing laser wave is discussed and the distribution of chromium atoms is given under different transverse velocity conditions. The results show that the focusing position of atoms will be affected by the transverse velocity of atoms. Based on the four-order Runge- Kutta method, the locus of chromium atoms in Gauss standing laser wave is simulated. Two concepts named atom solution and combinatory solution are defined. The classification of all single traveling wave atom solutions to sinh-Gordon equation is obtained, and qualitative properties of solutions are discussed. In particular, we point out that some qualitative properties derived intuitively from dynamic system method are not true. Finally, we prove that our solutions to sinh-Gordon equation include all solutions obtained in the paper [Z.T. Fu, et al., Commun. Theor. Phys. (Beijing, China) 45 (2006) 55]. An alternative scheme is proposed for teleportation of an unknown atomic-entangled state. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of a two-mode cavity field with a A-type three-level atom. In contrast with the previously proposed scheme of [Commun. Theor. Phys. 47 (2007) 253], the present scheme is ascendant, since the fidelity is 1.0 in principle similarly without the Bell-state measurement. The scheme may be generalized to not only the teleportation of the cavity-mode-entangled-state but also the teleportation of the multi-atomic entangled states included in generalized GHZ states.
