We study the vanishing viscosity limit of the compressible Navier–Stokes equations to the Riemann solution of the Euler equations that consists of the superposition of a shock wave and a rarefaction wave. In particular, it is shown that there exists a family of smooth solutions to the compressible Navier–Stokes equations that converges to the Riemann solution away from the initial and shock layers at a rate in terms of the viscosity and the heat conductivity coefficients. This gives the first mathematical justification of this limit for the Navier–Stokes equations to the Riemann solution that contains these two typical nonlinear hyperbolic waves.  相似文献

Combined heat and mass transfer in free, forced and mixed convection flows along a porous wedge with internal heat generation in the presence of uniform suction or injection is investigated. The boundary-layer analysis is formulated in terms of the combined thermal and solute buoyancy effect. The flow field characteristics are analyzed using the Runge-Kutta-Gill method, the shooting method, and the local nonsimilarity method. Due to the effect of the buoyancy force, power law of temperature and concentration, and suction/injection on the wall of the wedge, the flow field is locally nonsimilar. Numerical calculations up to third-order level of truncation are carried out for different values of dimensionless parameters as a special case. The effects of the buoyancy force, suction, heat generation, and variable wall temperature and concentration on the dimensionless velocity, temperature, and concentration profiles are studied. The results obtained are found to be in good agreement with previously published works.  相似文献

The high-order implicit finite difference schemes for solving the fractionalorder Stokes’ first problem for a heated generalized second grade fluid with the Dirichlet boundary condition and the initial condition are given. The stability, solvability, and convergence of the numerical scheme are discussed via the Fourier analysis and the matrix analysis methods. An improved implicit scheme is also obtained. Finally, two numerical examples are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the mentioned schemes.  相似文献

Impulsively coupled oscillators which are assumed to interact with each other only at discrete times have many applications in practice. In this paper, we introduce the concept of partial contraction theory of impulsive systems, which is used to investigate the synchronization problem of impulsively coupled oscillators. Contraction analysis of two impulsively coupled oscillators and networked impulsively coupled oscillators is provided, respectively. Very simple but very general results for synchronization of impulsively coupled oscillators are derived. Numerical simulations show the effectiveness of our theoretical results.  相似文献

This paper considers the stabilization problem of impulsive switched linear systems with saturated control input, in which the impulses are viewed as control or disturbances. Under arbitrary switching rule and dwell time switching rule, the local stabilization conditions are obtained in terms of LMIs, respectively. The corresponding optimization problems are formulated to obtain a bigger attractive region. Our results show that impulsive control can recover part of attractive region, or allow a wide range of switching signals. If the impulses occur as disturbances, we have to increase the dwell time of switching signals to offset the effects of disturbances. Numerical examples are given to show the effectiveness of the results proposed.  相似文献

This paper studies the problem of the robustly exponential stabilization for uncertain Markovian jump systems with mode-dependent time-varying state delays. The contribution of this paper is two-fold. Firstly, by constructing a modified Lyapunov functional and using free-weighting matrices technique, some delay-dependent robustly exponential stability criteria of such systems are obtained in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which are less conservative than some existing ones. Secondly, a state feedback controller is designed, which can guarantee the robustly exponential stability of the uncertain closed-loop systems. Some illustrative numerical examples are given to demonstrate the reduced conservatism and applicability of the obtained results.  相似文献

This paper studies the dynamics of shallow water waves that are governed by the Boussinesq equations. A few perturbation terms are taken into account. The ansatz method is used to carry out the perturbed Boussinesq equation. Later on, the mapping method is used to extract a few more analytical solutions. Additionally, the Weierstrass elliptic function method is also used to obtain solitary waves and singular soliton solutions. Finally, the Lie symmetry approach is used to extract a few more additional solutions.  相似文献
