We study the paper of Xu [Z. Xu, On consistency of the weighted geometric mean complex judgement matrix in AHP, European Journal of Operational Research 126 (2000) 683–687] for the group consistency in analytic hierarchy process of multicriteria decision-making. The purpose of this note is threefold. First, we point out the questionable results in this paper. Second, for three by three comparison matrices, we provide a patchwork for his method. Third, we constructed a counter example to show that in general his method is wrong. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate our findings. If there are four or more alternatives, then we may advise researchers to ignore his results to avoid questionable estimation of group consistency. 相似文献

The purpose of this paper is to show that the study of mean ergodic theorems for almost-orbits of semigroups of nonexpansive mappings on closed convex subsets of a Banach space can be reduced to the study of orbits for semigroups of nonexpansive mappings. This provides a unified approach to various mean ergodic theorems for almost-orbits in the literature and new applications.

Let 1a<b be integers and G a Hamiltonian graph of order |G|(a+b)(2a+b)/b. Suppose that δ(G)a+2 and max{degG(x), degG(y)}a|G|/(a+b)+2 for each pair of nonadjacent vertices x and y in G. Then G has an [a,b]-factor which is edge-disjoint from a given Hamiltonian cycle. The lower bound on the degree condition is sharp. For the case of odd a=b, there exists a graph satisfying the conditions of the theorem but having no desired factor. As consequences, we have the degree conditions for Hamiltonian graphs to have [a,b]-factors containing a given Hamiltonian cycle. 相似文献

We shall discuss the class of surfaces with holomorphic right Gauss maps in non-compact duals of compact semi-simple Lie groups (e.g. ), which contains minimal surfaces in and constant mean curvature surfaces in . A Weierstrass type representation formula and a Chern-Osserman type inequality for such surfaces are given.

Let f:MN be a stable map between orientable 4-manifolds, whereM is closed and N is stably parallelisable. It is shown thatthe signature of M vanishes if and only if there exists a stablemap g:MN homotopic to f which has only fold and cusp singularities.This together with results of Ando and Èliaberg showsthat, in this situation, the Thom polynomials are the only obstructionsto the elimination of the singularities except for the foldsingularity. Also studied are some topological properties (includingthose of the discriminant set) of stable maps between 4-manifoldswith only Ak-type singularities. 相似文献

We give two congruence formulas concerning the number of non-trivial double point circles and arcs of a smooth map with generic singularities --- the Whitney umbrellas --- of an -manifold into , which generalize the formulas by Szücs for an immersion with normal crossings. Then they are applied to give a new geometric proof of the congruence formula due to Mahowald and Lannes concerning the normal Euler number of an immersed -manifold in . We also study generic projections of an embedded -manifold in into and prove an elimination theorem of Whitney umbrella points of opposite signs, which is a direct generalization of a recent result of Carter and Saito concerning embedded surfaces in . The problem of lifting a map into to an embedding into is also studied.

Let f be a continuous map from a compact metric space X to itself. The map f is called to be P-chaotic if it has the pseudo-orbit-tracing property and the closure of the set of all periodic points for f is equal to X. We show that every P-chaotic map from a continuum to itself is chaotic in the sense of Devaney and exhibits distributional chaos of type 1 with positive topological entropy. 相似文献

A k-tree of a graph is a spanning tree with maximum degree at most k. We give sufficient conditions for a graph G to have a k-tree with specified leaves: Let k,s, and n be integers such that k≥2, 0≤s≤k, and n≥s+1. Suppose that (1) G is (s+1)-connected and the degree sum of any k independent vertices of G is at least |G|+(k−1)s−1, or (2) G is n-connected and the independence number of G is at most (n−s)(k−1)+1. Then for any s specified vertices of G, G has a k-tree containing them as leaves. We also discuss the sharpness of the results.
