Several thioformamides and selenoformamides, with chirality solely due to restricted rotation about the C–N bond, were resolved to enantiomers by inclusion crystallization with optically active diols (TADDOLs). The absolute configuration of the guest molecules was deduced from the X-ray crystal structures of the inclusion complexes. The optical activity of the resolved compounds is manifested by their CD spectra showing relatively strong Cotton effects in the region of thioamide or selenoamide n–π* transition. The optically active thioformamides and selenoformamides are configurationally labile compounds and gradually racemize in solution but are stable in the form of the inclusion complexes. The first-order kinetics of the racemization in solution allowed us to assign the C–N rotation barriers of thioformamides by spectropolarimetric measurements. 相似文献

<正>A novel band-rejection filter based on a Bragg fiber with a defect layer is proposed.A defect layer is introduced in the periodic high/low index layers in the cladding of the Bragg fiber,which results in large confinement loss for some resonant wavelengths inside the band gap range of the Bragg fiber.A segment of the Bragg fiber with a defect layer can be used as a band-rejection filter,whose characteristics are mainly determined by the structure of the Bragg fiber.The simulation results show that the bandwidth of such a band-rejection filter is dependent on the number of the periodic high/low index layers in both sides of the defect layer in the cladding of the Bragg fiber. 相似文献

In this paper, a new general nonlinear magnetostrictive constitutive model is proposed for soft ferromagnetic materials, and it can predict magnetostrictive strain and magnetization curves under various pre-stresses. From the viewpoint of magnetic domain, it is based on the important physical fact that a nonlinear part of the elastic strain produced by magnetic domain wall motion under a pre-stress is responsible for the change of the maximum magnetostrictive strain in accordance with the pre-stress. Then the reduction of magnetostrictive strain from the maximum is caused by the domain rotation. Meanwhile, the magnetization under various pre-stresses in this model is introduced by magnetostrictive effect under the same pre-stress. A simplified 3-D model is put forward by means of linearizing the nonlinear function, i.e. the nonlinear part of the elastic strain produced by domain wall motion, and by using the quartic of magnetization to describe domain rotation. Besides, for the convenience of engineering applications, two-dimensional (plate or film) and one-dimensional (rod) models are also given for isotropic materials and their application ranges are discussed too. In comparison with the experimental data of Kuruzar and Jiles, it is found that this model can predict magnetostrictive strain and magnetization curves under various pre-stresses. The numerical simulation further illustrates that the new model can effectively describe the effects of the pre-stress or residual stress on the magnetization and magnetostrictive strain curves. In this paper, we propose an independence test between two time series which is based on permutations. The proposed test can be carried out by means of different common statistics such as Pearson’s chi-square or the likelihood ratio. We also point out why an exact test is necessary. Spectroscopic investigations of individual single-crystalline GaN nanowires with a lateral dimensions of ~30–90 nm were performed using the spatially resolved technique of electron energy-loss spectroscopy in conjunction with scanning transmission electron microscope showing a 2-Å electron probe. Positioning the electron probe upon transmission impact and at aloof setup with respect to the nanomaterials, we explored two types of surface modes intrinsic to GaN, surface exciton polaritons at ~8.3 eV (~150 nm) and surface guided modes at 3.88 eV (~320 nm), which are in visible/ultra-violet spectral regime above GaN bandgap of ~3.3 eV (~375 nm) and difficult to access by conventional optical spectroscopies. The explorations of these electromagnetic resonances might expand the current technical interests in GaN nanomaterials from the visible/UV range below ~3.5 eV to the spectral regime further beyond. 相似文献

In this paper, we review some mathematical models in medical image processing. Due to the superiority in modeling and computation, variational methods have been proven to be powerful techniques, which have been extremely popular and dramatically improved in the past two decades. On one hand, many models have been proposed for nearly all kinds of applications. On the other hand, a lot of models can be globally optimized and also many computation tools have been introduced. Under the variational framework, we focus on two basic problems in medical imaging: image restoration and segmentation, which are core components for kinds of specific tasks. For image restoration, we discuss some models on both additive and multiplicative noises. For image segmentation, we review some models on both whole image segmentation and specific target delineation, with the later being a key step in computer aided surgery. Centella asiatica (L.) Urban is a traditional herbal medicine used in Asiatic countries, and is commonly used to treat various wounds, leprosy, tuberculosis and lupus diseases. In this work, a new method based on microwave assisted extraction followed by liquid chromatography–diode array detection–electrospray ionization multistage tandem mass spectrometry analysis has been developed for the identification and quantification of biologically active constituents in C. asiatica, including asiatic acid, asiaticoside and madecassoside. The separation was performed on an Agilent Eclipse C18 column (150 mm × 4.6 mm i.d., 5 μm) with gradient elution of acetonitrile and 0.1% aqueous acetic acid within 50 min. Detection was performed at 205 nm. The calibration curves showed good linearity (r 2 > 0.9992). The limits of detection ranged from 1.2 to 1.6 μg mL?1. The intra- and inter-day precision was less than 3% and the recovery of the assay was in the range of 95.4–106.8%. The method was successfully applied to the quantification of the three constituents in different samples of C. asiatica. The results indicated that the developed method could be considered to be a simple, rapid and reliable method for the quality evaluation of C. asiatica. The samples were also analyzed on a liquid chromatography–electrospray ionization–time-of-flight mass spectrometry system to confirm the identification results. 相似文献

建立了直接进样电喷雾串联质谱测定草鱼肌肉组织中磷脂的方法.以Bligh Dyer法提取总脂质,采用流动注射泵直接进样的方式将样品导人电喷雾离子源,利用串联三重四级杆质谱的母离子扫描和中性丢失扫描功能,通过扫描磷脂的特征性子离子或中性质量丢失实现对磷脂酰胆碱、磷脂酰乙醇胺、磷脂酰肌醇、磷脂酰丝氨酸、磷脂酰甘油和磷脂酸六类磷脂的源内分离和鉴定.结果显示,在-定的浓度范围内,磷脂的浓度与磷脂直接进样电喷雾电离后形成准分子离子的响应值呈现良好的线性关系,回收率(67.1%~96.6%)和精密度可以满足生物样品分析的要求.采用本方法测定了草鱼肌肉组织中磷脂酰胆碱、磷脂酰乙醇胺、磷脂酰肌醇和磷脂酰丝氨酸4类磷脂的分子种及含量.本方法前处理简单,定性和定量分析快速准确,可以应用于其它生物样本脂质组学中磷脂的分析. 相似文献

Iron is essential for the proper functioning of all living cells, however it is toxic when present in excess. Thus, using iron chelators as therapeutic agents, namely chelation therapy, has received increasing attention. The objective of this review is to discuss the factors which should be considered when designing clinically useful iron chelators, to present the application of iron chelators in the treatment of iron overload associated with β-thalassaemia major and sickle cell anaemia, and to highlight the potential applications in the treatment of neurodegenerative disorders and microbial infection. This article reviews recent knowledge centred on these themes and indicates the growing importance of the concept of iron chelation in medicine. 相似文献
