Two-level Schwarz method for solving variational inequality with nonlinear source terms

In this paper, we extend the two-level Schwarz method to solve the variational inequality problems with nonlinear source terms, and establish a convergence theorem. The method converges within finite steps with an appropriate initial point. The numerical results show that the methods are efficient.     

A smoothing Newton-type method for generalized nonlinear complementarity problem

By using a new type of smoothing function, we first reformulate the generalized nonlinear complementarity problem over a polyhedral cone as a smoothing system of equations, and then develop a smoothing Newton-type method for solving it. For the proposed method, we obtain its global convergence under milder conditions, and we further establish its local superlinear (quadratic) convergence rate under the BD-regular assumption. Preliminary numerical experiments are also reported in this paper.     

Bases in semilinear spaces over zerosumfree semirings

This paper investigates the cardinality of a basis and the characterizations of a basis in semilinear space of n-dimensional vectors over zerosumfree semirings. First, it discusses the cardinality of a basis and gives some necessary and sufficient conditions that each basis has the same number of elements. Then it presents some conditions that a set of vectors is a basis and that a set of linearly independent vectors can be extended to a basis. In the end, it shows a necessary and sufficient condition that two semilinear spaces are isomorphic.     

The asymptotic estimate for the sum of two correlated classes of discounted aggregate claims with heavy tails

Consider a risk model with two correlated classes of insurance business and a constant force of interest. We assume that the correlation comes from a common shock and that the claim-size distribution is heavy-tailed. Under this setting, we investigate the tail behavior of the sum of the two correlated classes of discounted aggregate claims. We obtain the uniform asymptotic formulas for some subclass of subexponential distributions.     

分子动力学模拟和自由能计算研究孕酮和孕酮受体蛋白的结合模式

孕酮在确立和维持妊娠中起到了关键的作用. 为了研究孕酮和孕酮受体蛋白的结合模式，进行了3.5纳秒的分子动力学模拟，用 MM-PBSA\GBSA方法计算了结合自由能. 自由能分解和丙氨酸扫描两种方法说明，残基 Leu718, Met756, Met759, Phe778 和 Tyr890 对于结合抑制剂作用明显，这些残基的主要作用能是范德瓦尔斯作用能. 这一研究结果可以指导孕酮受体蛋白抑制剂的优化

应用影射法求解KdV方程,得到了KdV方程的物理上有意义的两种类型的行波解,即孤立波解和Jacobi椭圆函数解,并绘图加以说明.     

T型量子点结构中的自旋极化输运过程

我们利用单杂质Anderson模型及运动方程等理论,通过求解格林函数的方法研究了通过T型量子点结构(耦合于铁磁电极和介观环量子点结构)的自旋极化输运过程.研究结果表明,与量子点相耦合的铁磁电极中的极化强度是控制量子点电子输运的重要参数,由此可以达到自旋阀效应.另外我们还发现与量子点相耦合的介观环中的磁通会影响电子自旋向上和自旋向下近藤共振峰的分裂程度,但若加入适当的外磁场,那么这样的分裂将被抵消。

Adaptive stabilization of uncertain unified chaotic systems with nonlinear input

This paper addresses the problem of adaptive stabilization of uncertain unified chaotic systems with nonlinear input in the sector form. A novel representation of nonlinear input function, that is, a linear input with bounded time-varying coefficient, is firstly established. Then, an adaptive control scheme is proposed based on the new nonlinear input model. By using Barbalat’s lemma, the asymptotic stability of the closed-loop system is proved in spite of system uncertainties, external disturbance and input nonlinearity. One of the advantages of the proposed design method is that the prior knowledge on the plant parameter, the bound parameters of the uncertainties and the slope parameters inside the sector nonlinearity is not required. Finally, numerical simulations are performed to verify the analytical results.
