A high performance sub-wavelength metallic grating coupled surface plasmon resonance (SWMGCSPR) sensor with metal and porous composite layer is proposed. Rigorous coupled-wave analysis (RCWA) is conducted to prove the design feasibility, characterize the sensor's performance and determine geometric parameters of the structure, which is also employed to compute the electromagnetic (EM) field distributions at the resonant wavelengths. Parameters of sensing platform are optimized to achieve the best performance of the SPR sensor. Obtained results reveal that the proposed structure can excite SPR with negative diffraction order of SWMG. Both wavelength and angular sensitivities are greatly enhanced because surface plasmon wave (SPW) exhibits a large penetration depth which will enlarge the distance of interactions between SP and analytes. The detection sensitivities and quality parameters are estimated to be 700 nm/RIU and 509°/RIU with full width at half maximum (FWHM) less than 2.5 nm using the same optimized structure. 相似文献

Based on the radiation properties of surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs) can be controlled by adjusting the refractive indexes of dielectric materials in the metallic slits, a novel plasmonic focusing structure formed by two subwavelength metal apertures filled with Kerr nonlinear material surrounded by surface dielectric gratings is proposed and demonstrated numerically. Directions of radiation fields are determined by the phase difference of the surface waves at the exit interface and resonance property of each surface grating. Numerical simulations using two-dimensional (2D) Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method verify that the deflection angle and focal length can be controlled easily by changing the intensity of incident light, dynamically tunable on-axis and off-axis focusing effects can be achieved. 相似文献

In this study, CeO2@Zn0.5Cd0.5S heterostructure (Ce@ZCS) is synthesized via a simple two-step hydrothermal method. The effect of CeO2 loading on the visible-light photoactivity of Zn0.5Cd0.5S is mainly investigated. It is found that Ce@ZCS shows a 1.9 times activity as high as ZCS for the MB degradation. The improved activity mainly results from the significant enhanced charge separation by CeO2, in which the electron transfer is obviously promoted by the facile Ce(IV)/Ce(III) cycle. The excited electrons of ZCS is easy to transfer to CeO2, thus obviously increasing the charge separation of ZCS. The accepted electrons by CeO2 may easily be captured by the adsorbed O2 to form O2−, and then O2− could combine with H+/H2O to form HO2, and OH. Finally, O2−, h+ and OH are confirmed as the major oxidative species in photocatalytic reaction for Ce@ZCS, and a possible photocatalytic mechanism is proposed. This paper considers sampled-data based chaos synchronization using observers in the presence of measurement noise for a large class of chaotic systems. We study discretized model of chaotic systems which are perturbed by white noise and employ Lyapunov-like theorems to come up with a simple yet effective observer design. For the choice of observer gain, a suboptimal criterion is obtained in terms of LMI. We present semiglobal as well as global results. The Lü system is a new chaotic system, which connects the Lorenz system and the Chen system and represents the transition from one to the other. In this letter, based on the concept of nonresonant parametric perturbations, further detailed analysis about the forming mechanism and its compound structure for the chaotic Lü system are offered. The obtained results clearly reveal the intermediate chaotic system has another novel forming mechanism: the compression and pull forming mechanism, which provides an enlighten insight about the relationship of its vibration “mode” and the two-scroll “base” chaotic attractor. Then motivated by this novel forming mechanism, by adding a simple nonlinear term to the Lü system, its role as a joint function is revisited. With the gradual tuning the parameter of the nonlinear controller, the transition from the canonical Lorenz attractor to the Chen attractor through the Lü attractor is revived. The scheme herein goes beyond the traditional framework for studying the Lorenz-like systems, which can be very helpful in generating and analyzing of all similar and closely related chaotic systems. 相似文献
