A new characterization for some extensions of PSL(2, <Emphasis Type="Italic">q)</Emphasis> for some <Emphasis Type="Italic">q</Emphasis> by some character degrees

In [22] (Tong-Viet H P, Simple classical groups of Lie type are determined by their character degrees, J. Algebra, 357 (2012) 61–68), the following question arose: Which groups can be uniquely determined by the structure of their complex group algebras? The authors in [12] (Khosravi B et al., Some extensions of PSL(2,p²) are uniquely determined by their complex group algebras, Comm. Algebra, 43(8) (2015) 3330–3341) proved that each extension of PSL(2,p²) of order 2|PSL(2,p²)| is uniquely determined by its complex group algebra. In this paper we continue this work. Let p be an odd prime number and q = p or q = p³. Let M be a finite group such that |M| = h|PSL(2,q), where h is a divisor of |Out(PSL(2,q))|. Also suppose that M has an irreducible character of degree q and 2p does not divide the degree of any irreducible character of M. As the main result of this paper we prove that M has a unique nonabelian composition factor which is isomorphic to PSL(2,q). As a consequence of our result we prove that M is uniquely determined by its order and some information on its character degrees which implies that M is uniquely determined by the structure of its complex group algebra.

Approximate duality of g-frames in Hilbert spaces

In this article, we introduce and characterize approximate duality for g-frames. We get some important properties and applications of approximate duals. We also obtain some new results in approximate duality of frames, and generalize some of the known results in approximate duality of frames to g-frames. We also get some results for fusion frames, and perturbation of approximately dual g-frames. We show that approximate duals are stable under small perturbations and they are useful for erasures and reconstruction.     

On Retractable $S$-Acts

In this paper we introduce a class of right S-acts called retractable S-acts which are right S-acts with homomorphisms into their all subacts. We also give some classifications of monoids by comparing such acts with flatness properties.     

Electrocatalytic Oxidation of Hydrogen Peroxide on Poly(m‐toluidine)‐Nickel Modified Carbon Paste Electrode in Alkaline Medium

The poly(m‐toluidine) film was prepared by using the repeated potential cycling technique in an acidic solution at the surface of carbon paste electrode. Then transition metal ions of Ni(II) were incorporated to the polymer by immersion of the modified electrode in a 0.2 M NiSO₄, also the electrochemical characterization of this modified electrode exhibits stable redox behavior of the Ni(III)/Ni(II) couple. The electrocatalytic ability of Ni(II)/poly(m‐toluidine)/modified carbon paste electrode (Ni/PMT/MCPE) was demonstrated by electrocatalytic oxidation of hydrogen peroxide with cyclic voltammetry and chronoamperometry methods in the alkaline solution. The effects of scan rate and hydrogen peroxide concentration on the anodic peak height of hydrogen peroxide oxidation were also investigated. The catalytic oxidation peak current showed two linear ranges with different slopes dependent on the hydrogen peroxide concentration and the lower detection limit was 6.5 μM (S/N=3). The catalytic reaction rate constant, (k_h), was calculated 5.5×10² M^?1 s^?1 by the data of chronoamperometry. This modified electrode has many advantages such as simple preparation procedure, good reproducibility and high catalytic activity toward the hydrogen peroxide oxidation. This method was also applied as a simple method for routine control and can be employed directly without any pretreatment or separation for analysis cosmetics products.

Fusion frames and <Emphasis Type="Italic">G</Emphasis>-frames in Banach spaces

Fusion frames and g-frames in Hilbert spaces are generalizations of frames, and frames were extended to Banach spaces. In this article we introduce fusion frames, g-frames, Banach g-frames in Banach spaces and we show that they share many useful properties with their corresponding notions in Hilbert spaces. We also show that g-frames, fusion frames and Banach g-frames are stable under small perturbations and invertible operators.
