Comparison study of exchange-correlation functionals on prediction of ground states and structural properties

Despite significant advances in first-principles calculation methods, there is no single exchange-correlation functional which predicts the ground state of materials without an error yet. We investigated how accurately ground states of binary semiconductors are described using 16 exchange-correlation functionals (with or without van der Waals corrections). LDA, PBEsol, SCAN (with or without rVV10 correction), and PBE with D3 van der Waals correction (zero or Becke-Johnson damping) show good predicting power. The lattice constants of stable phases were slightly better described by SCAN, PBEsol, PBE+D3 (Becke-Johnson damping), and MS2. We also propose a set of functionals to double-check the stability of new materials based on the majority vote.

(Anti-)de Sitter Black Hole Entropy and Generalized Uncertainty Principle

We generalize the method that is used to study corrections to Cardy-Verlinde formula due to generalized uncertainty principle and discuss corrections to Cardy-Verlinde formula due to generalized uncertainty principle in (anti)-de Sitter space. Because in de Sitter black hole spacetime the radiation temperature of the black hole horizon is different from the one of the cosmological horizon, this spacetime is a thermodynamical non-equilibrium spacetime.     

天文斑点成像技术中的噪声影响分析

为进一步说明天文像复原新方法-迭代位移叠加法的性质，对探测器的附加噪声在斑点干涉术、斑点掩模法和迭代位移叠加法中的影响分别进行了分析。结果表明：在斑点掩模法中，复杂的噪声高阶矩统计被引入了重谱的噪声偏差，因此对噪声极为敏感，使数据处理更加复杂化；与斑点掩模法相比，迭代位移叠加法仅涉及对噪声的一阶矩统计平均，所以此新方法的特点是对噪声不敏感，具有图像复原处理过程简单快捷的优越性。

Approximate Inverse Preconditioners for Some Large Dense Random Electrostatic Interaction Matrices

A sparse mesh-neighbour based approximate inverse preconditioner is proposed for a type of dense matrices whose entries come from the evaluation of a slowly decaying free space Green’s function at randomly placed points in a unit cell. By approximating distant potential fields originating at closely spaced sources in a certain way, the preconditioner is given properties similar to, or better than, those of a standard least squares approximate inverse preconditioner while its setup cost is only that of a diagonal block approximate inverse preconditioner. Numerical experiments on iterative solutions of linear systems with up to four million unknowns illustrate how the new preconditioner drastically outperforms standard approximate inverse preconditioners of otherwise similar construction, and especially so when the preconditioners are very sparse. The semi‐iterative method applied to the hyper‐power iteration

The semi‐iterative method (SIM) is applied to the hyper‐power (HP) iteration, and necessary and sufficient conditions are given for the convergence of the semi‐iterative–hyper‐power (SIM–HP) iteration. ITERATIVE APPROXIMATION OF FIXED POINTS OF NON-LIPSCHITZIAN ASYMPTOTICALLY PSEUDOCONTRACTIVE MAPPINGS

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the problem of approximating fixed points of non-Lipschitizian asymptotically pseudocontractive mappings in an arbitrary real Banach space by the modified Ishikawa iterative sequences with errors.     

多气隙电阻板室的宇宙线测量结果

介绍了20多个多气隙电阻板室的宇宙线测量结果.测量所用的宇宙线平台可以同时测量同一个电阻板室的多个cell,其参考时间的时间分辨为70ps.在宇宙线的测量条件下,用国产材料制作的多气隙电阻板室的时间分辨可达到90ps.利用这套宇宙线测量系统,还对多气隙电阻板室的探测效率和cell间的相互串扰进行了研究.     

BEPCⅡ LINAC束流光学匹配及轨道校正计算研究

 北京正负电子对撞机直线注入器(BEPCⅡ LINAC)的升级改进要求建立束流光学匹配计算和轨道校正系统，为此对束流光学匹配计算和轨道校正计算的方法进行了研究，并采用VC++语言编写了相应的程序，利用最小二乘法原理进行了束流光学匹配计算，模拟了束流轨道校正，取得了较为理想的结果。
