Point‐of‐care detection for pathogen is of critical need for wide epidemic warning and medical diagnosis. In this work, we have designed and developed a fully portable and integrated microchip based real‐time polymerase chain reaction machine for rapid pathogen detection. The instrument consists of three functional components including heating, optical, and electrical modules, which are integrated into a portable compact box. The microchip is consumable material replaceable to meet various detection needs. Consequently, we demonstrated the outstanding performance of this portable machine for rapid detection of Salmonella and Escherichia coli O157:H7 with the advantage of time‐saving (~25 min), less samples consumption, portability, and user‐friendly operation. 相似文献

Shock testing is an important issue for the survivability of an equipment under shock environment in aerospace and military industries. One of the problems faced in conventional shock testing devices is the need for redesigning of the geometry whenever the responses to different shock environments are tested. To circumvent the redesigning processes, a structure with two ‘acoustic black holes (ABHs)’ on both ends, referred to as the beam with dual ABHs, is proposed as a shock testing device. The beam with dual ABHs is capable of simulating diverse shock environments by controlling the applied force because it can be regarded as an infinite beam at high frequency range with the aid of the anechoic terminations by the ABHs. To systematically investigate the beam with dual ABHs, we develop a wave-based method that uses the reflection matrix of an ABH to perform free and forced vibration analyses. From the analyses on frequency response function and shock response spectrum of the beam with dual ABH, it is suggested that the beam with dual ABHs is feasible as a semi-permanent shock testing device. 相似文献

We show that porcine brain matter can be modelled accurately as a very soft rubber-like material using the Mooney–Rivlin strain energy function, up to strains as high as 60%. This result followed from simple shear experiments performed on small rectangular fresh samples (2.5 cm3 and 1.1 cm3) at quasi-static strain rates. They revealed a linear shear stress–shear strain relationship , characteristic of Mooney–Rivlin materials at large strains. We found that porcine brain matter is about 30 times less resistant to shear forces than a silicone gel. We also verified experimentally that brain matter exhibits the positive Poynting effect of non-linear elasticity, and numerically that the stress and strain fields remain mostly homogeneous throughout the thickness of the samples in simple shear. 相似文献

In this paper, we are interested in evaluating the resilience of financial portfolios under extreme economic conditions. Therefore, we use empirical measures to characterize the transmission process of macroeconomic shocks to risk parameters. We propose the use of an extensive family of models, called General Transfer Function Models, which condense well the characteristics of the transmission described by the impact measures. The procedure for estimating the parameters of these models is described employing the Bayesian approach and using the prior information provided by the impact measures. In addition, we illustrate the use of the estimated models from the credit risk data of a portfolio. 相似文献

为得到钢绞线索丝间接触区的应力场分布并预测微动疲劳裂纹萌生位置和微动疲劳寿命,本文利用参数化方法建立了精细化的钢绞线拉索有限元模型,包括整索模型和不同层丝间接触区域的局部精细化子模型.分析了钢绞线索在两种交变荷载工况下的应力场变化情况,并基于多轴疲劳SWT(Smith-Watson-Topper)临界平面法进行了疲劳特性分析和疲劳寿命预测.主要结论如下:钢绞线索内接触区边缘处的微动幅值较大,中心处几乎没有相对滑动,微动疲劳的初始裂纹萌生点位于接触区域边缘;经不同区域子模型分析比较,在轴向循环荷载作用下,外层钢丝的接触区域比内层钢丝更易发生微动疲劳损伤;在横向位移循环荷载作用下,同层钢丝因位置角度不同而产生了较大的疲劳特性差异,且相比轴向循环拉伸,该工况下最不利单丝的微动疲劳寿命更低;与非接触区域相比,接触区的疲劳寿命大幅降低,微动现象对钢绞线索的抗疲劳性能有明显降低作用. 相似文献
