UV-ink photoinitiators (PIs), which are used to initiate polymerization reaction for the curing of inks and lacquers, have become a kind of contaminant residues in printing plastic food packaging. The residual PIs in packaging may pose a potential threat to customers. In this work, migration behaviors of 13 PIs from a polyethylene (PE) packaging to food simulants according to regulation EU No 10/2011 were studied by supercritical fluid chromatography combined with photodiode array detector and tandem mass spectrometry (SFC-PDA-MS/MS). The method simultaneously analyzed 13 PIs within 4.5 min and was sensitively with low limits of detection of 0.02–2.16 μg/L, which could meet high throughput analysis for control the quality of food packaging. The migration results revealed that Irgacure 819, Darocure 1173 and TPO, which had low migration rates, should be preferably selected by plastic food packaging manufacture for food safety.  相似文献

将二苯二硫醚作为硫源与1-甲基-2-苯基吲哚反应合成了含杂原子环的硫醚类化合物,然后再与二芳基碘三氟甲磺酸鎓盐反应,合成了一种新的芳基硫鎓盐。采用1 HNMR、MS等技术对目标化合物进行了表征,并确定了最佳反应条件。在硫醚类化合物与二芳基碘三氟甲磺酸鎓盐的摩尔比为1∶1.2,催化剂为CuI/Cu,溶剂为1,1,2,2-四氯乙烷的反应条件下,目标化合物的产率达到了62.0%。同时,对这类结构的芳基硫鎓盐进行了紫外光固化性能测试,发现其能够在紫外光固化体系中作为阳离子光引发剂得到应用。  相似文献

In this article, new compounds based on the carbazole scaffold (DMs = DM1 and DM2, constituted by a carbazole unit connected on positions 3 and 6 to a two 4,4′‐dimethoxydiphenylamine groups and differing by the substituent present on the nitrogen heteroatom of the carbazole core) were synthesized and proposed as high‐performance visible light photoinitiators/photosensitizers for both the free‐radical polymerization of methacrylates and the cationic polymerization of epoxides upon visible light exposure using LED@405 nm. Remarkably, DM2 leads to higher final conversions than DM1. In order to study the photophysical and photochemical properties of the carbazole derivatives, different parameters were taken into account such as the light absorption, the steady‐state photolysis, and the fluorescence spectroscopy. Using different techniques such as fluorescence quenching, redox behavior, and cyclic voltammetry, we are able to discuss the photosensitization/photoinitiation reactions providing a full coherent picture of the involved chemical mechanisms. The photosensitization of the carbazole derivatives occurred predominantly via singlet excited states at the rate of the diffusion limit. Upon exposure to laser diode at 405 nm, DMs show high performance in initiating systems for 3D resins. In this contribution a convenient synthetic method to obtain tetraacylgermanes Ge[C(O)R]4 (R=mesityl ( 1 a ), phenyl ( 1 b )), a previously unknown class of highly efficient Ge‐based photoinitiators, is described. Tetraacylgermanes are easily accessible via a one‐pot synthetic protocol in >85 % yield, as confirmed by NMR spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, and X‐ray crystallography. The efficiency of 1 a , b as photoinitiators is demonstrated in photobleaching (UV/Vis), time‐resolved EPR (CIDEP), and NMR/CIDNP investigations as well as by photo‐DSC studies. Remarkably, the tetraacylgermanes exceed the performance of currently known long‐wavelength visible‐light photoinitiators for free‐radical polymerization  相似文献

In this contribution, three polymerizable benzophenone photoinitiators containing maleimide group including 4‐maleimidebenzophenone (MBP), 4‐chlorine‐4′‐maleimide benzophenone (CMBP), and 4‐maleimide‐4′‐[(4‐maleimide)thiophenyl]benzophenone (MMTBP) were designed and synthesized to enhance the polymerization degree of photosensitive polysiloxane containing methacryloxy active groups (MAPSO). The polymerization behaviors of the MAPSO cured by different photoinitiators were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FTIR). It was noted that the MAPSO initiated by MMTBP showed a high carbon–carbon double bond conversion above 80% because of the existence of thiophenyl group which could generate more radicals from the photolysis reaction at the C? S bond. In addition, the thermal stability of the UV‐cured MAPSO were studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), the result showed that the initial 5% mass loss (T 5%) and residual weight percent at 800 °C in nitrogen of the UV‐cured MAPSO initiated by MMTBP systems was 200 °C and 33.8%. Thus, this work provides a new perspective and efficient strategy to improve the polymerization degree of UV‐curable polysiloxanes with carbon–carbon double bonds. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J. The synthesis of new water‐soluble photoinitiators (PIs) based on hydroxyalkylphenones, benzophenones, and thioxanthones with carbohydrate residues such as glucose, cellobiose, and 1‐amino‐1‐deoxy‐D ‐glucitol (glucamine) is described. In addition, selected initiators were reacted with methacryloyl chloride to obtain copolymerizable initiators with improved migration stability. Results from photo differential scanning calorimetry and gel‐content measurements in commercially available water‐thinnable and emulsion‐type resins as well as 2‐hydroxyethyl acrylate are included. Glucose‐modified PIs gave the best results with respect to compatibility with the resin, reactivity, and gel content. © 2002 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 利用红外光谱技术对六种新型水溶性硫杂蒽酮类光引发剂在紫外光聚合反应中的引发性能进行了测试,用相对峰面积法计算了聚合反应的转化率,并据此对引发剂结构与光化学性能之间的关系做了一定的探讨。结果表明该类光引发剂具有很高的光化学活性,而引发剂的结构直接影响引发性能。研究发现硫杂蒽酮母体上甲基的引入使引发剂的引发效率增大,而引发剂侧链上羟基的引入,则由于降低了质量转移的有效性并有可能使引发剂分子缔合,致命引  相似文献

The spiro‐orthoester, cis‐2,3‐tetramethylene‐1,4,6‐trioxaspiro[4,4]nonane (cis‐TTN) ( I ), underwent rapid cationic photopolymerization when exposed to UV light using diphenyliodonium salts as a photoinitiator. The polymer, poly[(trans‐OCB)x‐(cis‐OCB)x‐(CHO)y] thus formed consisted of poly(trans‐2‐oxycyclohexyl butanoate) (trans‐OCB)x ( II ), poly(cis‐2‐oxycyclohexyl butanoate) (cis‐OCB)x ( III ), and poly‐ (1,2‐cyclohexene oxide) (CHO)y segments, and no expected pure poly(ether‐ester), that is, poly(2‐oxycyclohexyl butanoate), was isolated. The structure of the polymer was identified, and the mechanism of the reaction was deduced. The polymer thus formed exhibited expansion in volume during cationic photopolymerization when compared to that obtained by conventional cationic polymerization using a Lewis acid (e.g., BF3OEt2, CH3OSO2CF3, or SnCl4) as an initiator, which demonstrated volume shrinkage during polymerization. The volume expansion of the polymer during polymerization was due to (1) the lower content of the higher density (CHO)y segment in the polymer chain and, more importantly, (2) the higher and optimal mole ratio of (trans‐OCB)x and (cis‐OCB)x segments that led the polymer in a more disordered, less dense, and higher volumetric state. © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In a continuation of our research on new chromophores for photoinitiators (PIs), we investigated a triple‐bond‐containing benzophenone derivative. 1,5‐Diphenyl‐1,4‐pentadiyn‐3‐one ( 2 ) was prepared from phenylacetylene and ethyl formate by a one‐pot reaction. Differential scanning photocalorimetry experiments in lauryl acrylate of 2 showed surprisingly high activity for the double‐bond conversion and rate of polymerization at the lowest PI concentrations and even without any coinitiator. By the application of monomers with abstractable hydrogens, significant improvement in the photoreactivity was observed. Ultraviolet–visible spectroscopy revealed strong absorption up to 350 nm. Steady‐state photolysis experiments proved that the photochemistry of this compound was faster than that of benzophenone. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
