Heterostructure photocatalyst fabrication is of great significance for promoting the photoreactivity and solar-energy utilization efficiencies. In this work, AgI/BiOIO_3 heterostructure photocatalysts are synthesized by a facile in-situ crystallization of AgI on BiOIO_3. The photocatalytic performance is first surveyed by decomposition of model dye methyl orange(MO) separately with illumination of UV light and visible-light(λ 420 nm). It indicates that AgI/BiOIO_3 shows highly improved photocatalytic activity regardless of the light source, which should be attributed to the matchable band energy levels between AgI and BiOIO_3, benefiting the efficient charge separation. Notably, AgI/BiOIO_3 shows a universal photocatalytic activity for treating diverse antibiotics and phenols, including tetracycline hydrochloride,chlortetracycline hydrochloride, 2,4-dichlorophenol(2,4-DCP), phenol and bisphenol A(BPA), and the strong mineralization ability of AgI/BiOIO_3 was also demonstrated. Additionally, the different mechanisms under UV and visible light irradiation are investigated in detail. The objective of the present study was to investigate the changes in the degree of dispersion in a negative AgI sol under the influence of organic components introduced into the medium only after nucleation. A metallic (Ag)–dielectric (AgI) hollow glass waveguide is a promising and flexible fiber for the delivery of high-power CO2 laser radiation. The thickness of metallic (Ag) films and dielectric (AgI) films is a critical factor which greatly influences the attenuation of the waveguides. In this paper, metallic (Ag)–dielectric (AgI) films were successfully prepared in the capillary whose inner diameter is 0.53 mm, and firstly investigated with theoretical analysis and measured by means of AES and SEM. There is good agreement between theoretical thickness and experimental results, which confirms the validity of the theoretical analysis, which makes the estimate of the thickness of both the metallic and dielectric films possible with high accuracy prior to the preparation of hollow glass waveguides. The attenuation spectra of Ag/AgI hollow waveguides shows the loss increases with the thickness of Ag, AgI films and indicates that the Ag/AgI hollow waveguide is suitable for the transmission of IR radiation. 相似文献

The precipitation and dissolution of AgI in the presence of methylene blue (MB · Cl) and sodium dodecyl sulphate (NaDS) was followed by X-ray diffraction analysis.At high MB · Cl concentration, the absence of AgI precipitates was observed, which is explained by considering the redox process MB+ + 2I– MB– + I2. The decrease in I– concentration causes dissolution or inhibition of growth of solid AgI which is significant at relatively high MB · Cl concentrations. The addition of NaDS causes the disappearance of these effects, which is explained by the incorporation of MB in NaDS micelles.These explanations are supported by the potentiometric measurements using Ag/Ag2S and Pt electrodes. 相似文献

Precise calorimetry was performed for (AgI)x(AgPO3)1–x and (AgI)x(Ag2PO3.5)1–x glasses with very high AgI compositions (x0.75). The glasses showed -glass transitions due to the freezing-in of the rearrangement of conductive Ag+ ions. Magnitude of the associated heat-capacity jump increased with increasing the AgI composition in the respective glass systems, and was larger in the former system than in the latter when compared at the same AgI composition. All the results were well explained by the amorphous AgI aggregate model for the AgI-based fast ion conducting glasses, indicating the appropriateness of the model for the structure of the glasses with high AgI compositions. The formation of the hypothetical bulk amorphous AgI was also indicated in the glasses at the highest limit of AgI composition.This revised version was published online in November 2005 with corrections to the Cover Date. 相似文献

The growth kinetics for AgI nanoparticles formed in the solutions of water/AOT reverse micelles in n-hexane, n-octane, n-decane, and n-dodecane were investigated. In small micelles, the rate of nanoparticles growth was found to be independent of the type of solvent, while in large micelles the growth rate grew with increasing length of solvent molecules. The effect was explained by a different amount of free water in the micelle pools of the same size. 相似文献

首先以沉积-沉淀法制备AgBr/TiO2复合催化剂,然后采用离子交换法制备出新型的异质结型AgI/AgBr/TiO2光催化剂.利用XRD和UV-Vis对AgI/AgBr/TiO2光催化剂进行了表征.以甲基橙为染料模型,在可见光条件下(500 W、λ>420 nm)研究了AgI的含量对AgI/AgBr/TiO2催化活性的影响.结果表明,AgI拓展了催化剂的吸收光谱范围;AgI生成量为AgBr的5%时,AgI/AgBr/TiO2的催化活性最高.AgI/AgBr异质结的形成有利于光生电子和空穴的分离,提高AgI/AgBr/TiO2的催化活性. 相似文献

Summary The temperature and pressure dependencies of the structure and transport properties of AgI1-xClx are studied by means of molecular dynamics. From the results of the calculations, the P-T phase diagram for the AgI0.8Cl0.2 system has been obtained. The phase diagram indicates that the superionic phase transition temperature increase with the application of pressure. It is also pointed out that AgI1-xClx has a tendency of phase separation. 相似文献
