Ligand-promoted copper-catalyzed cascade reactions have become a robust tool for the synthesis of cyclic compounds. Although numerous ligands have been developed, this review focuses on the introduction of commercially available 1,10-phenanthroline-promoted copper-catalyzed cascade reactions in recent years. NOO-type tridentate Schiff base, N-salicylidene-2-aminobenzoic acid, (H2L), and its ternary Cu (II) complex containing H2L Schiff base and 4,7-dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (4,7-dmphen), [Cu(4,7-dmphen)(H2L)]27H2O, have been synthesized and characterized by CHN analysis, ESI-MS, FTIR, and single-crystal X-ray diffraction techniques. The interaction of alone H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex with biomacramolecules {calf thymus DNA (CT-DNA) and bovine serum albumin (BSA)} has been investigated by electronic absorption and fluorescence spectroscopy. The experimental results indicate that H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex bind to CT-DNA by means of a moderate intercalation mode. Furthermore, the fluorescence quenching mechanism between H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex with BSA possesses a static quenching process. Radical scavenging activity of H2L Schiff base ligand and ternary Cu (II) complex was measured in terms of EC50, using the DPPH and H2O2 methods. Biomacromolecule interactions and scavenging activity studies revealed that ternary Cu (II) complex yielded better results than H2L Schiff base ligand alone. 相似文献

The title compound, {[Zn4(C8H4O4)3(OH)2(C12H6N2O2)2]·2H2O}n, has been prepared hydrothermally by the reaction of Zn(NO3)2·6H2O with benzene‐1,4‐dicarboxylic acid (H2bdc) and 1,10‐phenanthroline‐5,6‐dione (pdon) in H2O. In the crystal structure, a tetranuclear Zn4(OH)2 fragment is located on a crystallographic inversion centre which relates two subunits, each containing a [ZnN2O4] octahedron and a [ZnO4] tetrahedron bridged by a μ3‐OH group. The pdon ligand chelates to zinc through its two N atoms to form part of the [ZnN2O4] octahedron. The two crystallographically independent bdc2− ligands are fully deprotonated and adopt μ3‐κO:κO′:κO′′ and μ4‐κO:κO′:κO′′:κO′′′ coordination modes, bridging three or four ZnII cations, respectively, from two Zn4(OH)2 units. The Zn4(OH)2 fragment connects six neighbouring tetranuclear units through four μ3‐bdc2− and two μ4‐bdc2− ligands, forming a three‐dimensional framework with uninodal 6‐connected α‐Po topology, in which the tetranuclear Zn4(OH)2 units are considered as 6‐connected nodes and the bdc2− ligands act as linkers. The uncoordinated water molecules are located on opposite sides of the Zn4(OH)2 unit and are connected to it through hydrogen‐bonding interactions involving hydroxide and carboxylate groups. The first representative of a new class of charge transfer complexes for organic semiconductors was synthesized. The reaction of p-nitroaniline (PNA) with [1,10]-phenanthroline-5,6-dione (PD) results in the formation of a stable molecular charge transfer (CT) complex PNA3-PD2 in a ratio of 3:2. The structure of the molecular CT complex PNA3-PD2 was established by X-ray diffraction studies. Using the density functional theory method, it is shown that several types of intermolecular interactions are realized in the complex: between the PNA amino group and the nitro group of another PNA molecule, carbonyl groups, and PD nitrogen atoms. Complex PNA3-PD2 is stable only in solid form. The diffuse reflectance UV–vis spectrum of PNA3-PD2 crystal powder is characterized by the intense weakly structured long-wavelength absorption band up to 650 nm. Quantum chemical calculations of the electronic structure have shown that the complex PNA3-PD2 is a straight-band semiconductor with a band gap of 2.11 eV. 相似文献

Three ternary rare earth [NdIII ( 1 ), SmIII ( 2 ) and YIII ( 3 )] complexes based on 3‐[(4,6‐dimethyl‐2‐pyrimidinyl)thio]‐propanoic acid (HL) and 1,10‐phenanthroline (Phen) were synthesized and characterized by IR and UV/Vis spectroscopy, TGA, and single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. The crystal structures showed that complexes 1 – 3 contain dinuclear rare earth units bridged by four propionate groups and are of general formula [REL3(Phen)]2 · nH2O (for 1 and 2 : n = 2; for 3 : n = 0). All rare earth ions are nine‐coordinate with distorted mono‐capped square antiprismatic coordination polyhedra. Complex 1 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 16.241(7) Å, b = 16.095(7) Å, c = 19.169(6) Å, β = 121.48(2)°. Complex 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic system, space group P21/c with a = 16.187(5) Å, b = 16.045(4) Å, c = 19.001(4) Å, β = 120.956(18)°. Complex 3 crystallizes in the triclinic system, space group P1 with a = 11.390(6) Å, b = 13.636(6) Å, c = 15.958(7) Å, α = 72.310(17)°, β = 77.548(15)°, γ = 78.288(16)°. 建立了用邻菲啰啉-Fe(Ⅱ)分光光度法测定头孢唑啉钠的方法 .头孢唑啉钠在0.10mol·L-1 NaOH溶液中,100℃水浴加热降解为含巯基的化合物.巯基化合物把Fe3+还原为Fe2+.加入邻菲啰啉显色,通过测定生成的橘红色配位化合物的吸光度间接测定头孢唑啉钠的含量.头孢唑啉钠浓度在0.02~40mg·L-1范围内呈现良好线性关系,线性回归方程A=0.043c(mg·L-1)-0.001,相关系数R=0.998 8,表观摩尔吸光系数ε=2.05×104 L·(mol·cm)-1,相对标准偏差RSD=1.27%,检测限(3σ/k)0.065mg·L-1.在此基础上,测定了市售头孢唑啉钠粉针剂的含量,回收率在99.17%~101.2%之间,结果令人满意. 相似文献

Structure‐cytotoxicity relationship of di?/tri‐organotin(IV) derivatives of mandelic acid ( 1 – 4 ), L‐proline ( 5 – 7, 15, 16 ), and mixed ligand complexes of latter with 1,10‐phenanthroline ( 8 – 14 ) investigated on the basis of MTT assay against human cancer cell lines, viz. MCF‐7 (mammary cancer), HepG2 (liver cancer) and PC‐3 (prostate cancer) in vitro indicated that all complexes except methyl‐ and octyl‐ analogues displayed potential cytotoxicity. The most active one is dibutyltin(IV) mandelate ( 2 ) exhibiting IC50 2.03 ± 0.40, 0.98 ± 0.23 and 3.86 ± 1.68 μM against MCF‐7, HepG2 and PC‐3, respectively, which is ≈ 15 and 2.5 times against MCF‐7, 20 and 5 times against HepG2 and 5 and ≈ 3 times against PC‐3 more cytotoxic than cis‐platin and 5‐fluorouracil, respectively. Diorganotin(IV) derivatives of mandelic acid are more cytotoxic than triorganotin analogues. Organotin(IV) derivatives of L‐proline (except Bu3Sn(Pro) 16 ) are less cytotoxic than those of mandelic acid but their cytotoxicity is enhanced by complexion with 1,10‐phenanthroline. This may be due to the structural planarity and extended π system of 1,10‐phenanthroline which facilitates their transportation across the cell membrane and enhances the possibility of DNA intercalation over the planar L‐proline ring, and eventually, their DNA binding affinity so as to interfere with the cellular functions of DNA leading to apoptosis. Various biophysical experiments such as DNA fragmentation, acridine orange and comet assays, and flow cytometry assay using annexin V–fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC) and propidium iodide (PI) have been carried out in order to ascertain their mode of action. The observed results indicated that the major cause of cancer cell death is apoptosis, but a minor role played by necrosis cannot be excluded. It is concluded on the basis of the observed results that the nature and number of organic groups bonded to tin as well as the nature of counter anions play an important role in determining the cytotoxicity of organotin(IV) compounds. 相似文献

A systematic investigation on the oxidation of unsymmetric bromo-phens is presented herein, where the reaction temperature is found to be the key parameter to generate oxidation or oxidation-bromination products. The regioselective C3-brominated compounds are produced in moderate yields in the cases of 2-bromo-phen and 4-bromo-phen. Subsequent hydroxylation and decarbonylation for bromo-phds are also studied, where a series of bromo-diazafluorenones and phen-triones have been isolated.
