Darstellung und Kristallstruktur von [P(C6H5)4][2,9-{N,N′-(2-NH?(C5H4N))}B10H8]

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of [P(C₆H₅)₄][2,9-{N,N′-(2-NH? (C₅H₄N))}B₁₀H₈] [N(C₄H₉)₄]₂[B₁₀H₁₀] reacts with 2-aminopyridine forming a product mixture from which [2,9-{N,N′-(2-NH? (C₅H₄N))}B₁₀H₈]^? can be isolated by ion exchange chromatography on diethylaminoethyl(DEAE) cellulose. The crystal structure of [P(C₆H₅)₄][2,9-{N,N′-(2-NH? (C₅H₄N))}B₁₀H₈] (triclinic, space group P1 , a = 10.1103(9), b = 11.5665(9), c = 14.877(2) Å, α = 102.600(8), β = 107.567(8) und γ = 96.487(7)°, Z = 2) reveals the bonding of 2-NH₂-(C₅H₄N) via both N atoms to vicinal B atoms of the two square planes of the B₁₀ cluster (B2? N1 = 1,541(7) und B9? N2 = 1.505(7) Å) forming a five-membered ring.     

The boiling point and molar enthalpy of vaporization of fluorint FC-70 N(C5F11)3

N(C₅F₁₁)₃ (Fluorint FC-70) has been chosen as the test material to compare the chemicophysical data obtained by static-sample and DSC methods. The normal boiling point, the molar enthalpy of vaporization, and the constants of the Antoine equation of fluorint FC-70 are reported. DSC can be developed into a simple and rapid routine instrument to determine the enthalpy of vaporization as well as the boiling point of liquid, particularly at relative high temperature.     

Geometrical characteristics of four-coordinate complexes of Ni,Pd, and Pt containing triphenylphosphine as ligand

A statistical analysis based on crystal structure results of 4-coordinated complexes of Ni, Pd, and Pt containing triphenylphosphine as ligand has been performed using the Cambridge Structural Data Base. Distorted square-planar coordination appears as the most probable one presented by these metals.

Geometrische Charakteristika von vier-koordinierten Komplexen des Ni, Pd und Pt mit Triphenylphosphin als Ligand

Zusammenfassung Es wurde unter Verwendung der Cambridge Strukturdatenbank eine statistische Analyse von Resultaten an vier-koordinierten Komplexen des Ni, Pd und Pt mit Triphenylphosphin-Ligand durchgeführt. Dabei ergab sich eine verzerrte quadratisch-planare Koordination als die am meisten wahrscheinliche Geometrie.

     

The identification of tricyclic neuroleptics and sulphonamides by high-performance thin-layer chromatography

Circular high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) has been used to differentiate a series of twelve tricyclic neuroleptics, using both normal phase and reverse phase procedures. The use of normal phase systems also allows the resolution of geometric isomers of chlorprothixene, clopenthixol and flupenthixol. Thirteen sulphonamides and Trirnethoprim may also be distinguished using HPTLC.     

Multilayer effects in liquid adsorption chromatography with mixed mobile phases

This paper describes the theory of liquid adsorption chromatography (LSC) with mixed mobile phase, involving formation of multilayer surface phases. An equation describing the dependence of the capacity ratio upon the mobile phase composition is derived and theoretical curves illustrating the same dependence are calculated accordingly by assuming different thicknesses of the surface phase.     

2-Cyanoacrylates in the conjugate addition of trifluoroacetic acid and nucleophilic reagents

In the presence of trifluoroacetic acid, ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate readily reacts with nucleophilic reagents, such as 2-chloro-1,3,2-benzodioxaphosphole, (EtO)₃P, (EtO)₂PCl, Ph₂PCl, Ph₃P, and thiourea. In these reactions the acid proton enters position 2 of the cyanoacrylate, whereas the nucleophilic component enters position 3, in accordance with the electron density distribution in the acrylate. In the absence of trifluoroacetic acid the above reagents, except 2-chloro-1,3,2-benzodioxaphosphole, cause ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate polymerization. The interaction of ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate with 2-chloro-1,3,2-benzodioxaphosphole and trifluoroacetic acid is the first example of a 2-cyanoacrylate taking part in the acid-initiated electrophilic conjugate addition of a weak nucleophile.Translated fromIzvestiya Akademii Nauk. A simple procedure for the chromatographic isolation and determination of prostaglandins from human seminal plasma

Summary A relatively simple procedure for the isolation and determination of the prostaglandins present in human seminal fluid is described. It involves preliminary chromatographic purification of these compounds from the major non-prostaglandin impurities followed by their total elution in one solvent (one-step elution). The prostaglandins thus obtained were almost free from other lipids and were further resolved into prostaglandin-groups and individual prostaglandins by repeated thin-layer chromatography. Data are also presented for prostaglandin contents of fresh semen samples from five individuals and results compared with those from the stored samples.

Einfaches Verfahren zur chromatographischen Isolierung und Bestimmung von Prostaglandinen aus menschlichem Sperma

Zusammenfassung Das Verfahren umfaßt eine chromatographische Abtrennung der Verbindungen von den hauptsächlichsten Verunreinigungen und die Gesamtelution mit einem Lösungsmittel. Die von anderen Lipiden fast völlig freien Prostaglandine werden durch wiederholte Dünnschicht-Chromatographie in Gruppen und Einzelverbindungen getrennt. Werte werden angegeben über die Prostaglandingehalte von frischem im Vergleich zu gelagertem Sperma.

     

A specific colorimetric cysteine sensing probe based on dipyrromethane-TCNQ assembly

A new charge-transfer complex, consisting of dihydroxymethyl di-(2-pyrrolyl)methane and tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ), has been designed to high selectively distinguish cysteine from other amino acids in water/organic solvent mixtures through the visual color change from blue to nearly colorless. The excellent system properties make the supramolecular assembly a highly selective colorimetric probe for monitoring cysteine.     

2,4,6-三硝基苯酚改性锆铝复合氧化物固定相分离富勒烯的色谱性能研究

制备了用于分离C60和C70的2，4，6－三硝基苯酚改性锆铝复合氧化物高效液相色谱固定相，考察了流动相中甲苯的含量、柱温及流速对C60和C70分离的影响，同时比较了酸腐蚀前后锆铝复合氧化物基质对分离的影响，结果表明，2，4，6－三硝基苯酚改性酸腐蚀后锆铝复合氧化物填料对富勒烯表现出较强的分离能力，具有作为富勒烯制备分离的潜力。
