We consider a coupled system describing nonlinear Darcy flows with temperature dependent viscosity and with viscous heating. We first establish existence, uniqueness, and regularity of the weak solution of the system of equations. Next, we decouple the coupled system by a fixed point algorithm and propose its finite element approximation. In this paper, we prove that a class of parabolic equations involving a second order fully nonlinear uniformly elliptic operator has a Fujita type exponent. These exponents are related with an eigenvalue problem in all RN and play the same role in blow-up theorems as the classical p?=1+2/N introduced by Fujita for the Laplacian. We study a class of compressible non‐Newtonian fluids in one space dimension. We prove, by using iterative method, the global time existence and uniqueness of strong solutions provided that the initial data satisfy a compatibility condition and the initial density is small in its H1‐norm. In this paper, we study a strongly coupled parabolic system with cross diffusion term which models chemotaxis. The diffusion coefficient goes to infinity when cell density tends to an allowable maximum value. Such ‘fast diffusion’ leads to global existence of solutions in bounded domains for any given initial data irrespective of the spatial dimension, which is usually the goal of many modifications to the classical Keller–Segel model.
