In this paper, we give some properties of the zeros of d-symmetric d-orthogonal polynomials and we localize these zeros on (d+1) rays emanating from the origin. We apply the obtained results to some known polynomials. In particular, we partially solve the conjecture about the zeros of the Humbert polynomials stated by Milovanovi? and Dordevi? [G.V. Milovanovi?, G.B. Dordevi?, On some properties of Humbert's polynomials, II, Ser. Math. Inform. 6 (1991) 23-30]. A study of the eigenvalues of a particular banded Hessenberg matrix is done.  相似文献

This paper deals with a special class of functions called generalized Voigt functions H(n)(x,a) and G(n)(x,a) and their partial derivatives, which are useful in the theory of polarized spectral line formation in stochastic media. For n=0 they reduce to the usual Voigt and Faraday-Voigt functions H(x,a) and G(x,a). A detailed study is made of these new functions. Simple recurrence relations are established and employed for the calculation of the functions themselves and of their partial derivatives. Asymptotic expansions are given for large values of x and a. They are used to examine the range of applicability of the recurrence relations and to construct a numerical algorithm for the calculation of the generalized Voigt functions and of their derivatives valid in a large (x,a) domain. It is also shown that the partial derivatives of the usual H(x,a) and G(x,a) can be expressed in terms of H(n)(x,a) and G(n)(x,a).  相似文献

And, most recently, for odd-valent circulant graphs, a nice investigation on the number an is [X. Chen, Q. Lin, F. Zhang, The number of spanning trees in odd-valent circulant graphs, Discrete Math. 282 (2004) 69-79].In this paper, we explore further properties of the numbers an from their combinatorial structures. Comparing with the previous work, the differences are that (1) in finding the coefficients of recurrence formulas for an, we avoid solving a system of linear equations with exponential size, but instead, we give explicit formulas; (2) we find the asymptotic functions and therefore we ‘answer’ the open problem posed in the conclusion of [Y.P. Zhang, X. Yong, M. Golin, The number of spanning trees in circulant graphs, Discrete Math. 223 (2000) 337-350]. As examples, we describe our technique and the asymptotics of the numbers.  相似文献

We analyze the semilocal convergence of Newton’s method under center conditions on the first Fréchet-derivative of the operator involved. We see that we can extend the known results so far, since we provide different starting points from the point where the first Fréchet-derivative is centered (that is the situation usually considered by other authors), so that the domain of starting points is enlarged for Newton’s method. We also illustrate the theoretical results obtained with some mildly nonlinear elliptic equations.  相似文献

目的 分析激素受体阳性乳腺癌患者预后影响因素并为乳腺癌的临床治疗提供帮助。方 法根据入组标准收集2006 年1 月1日至2008 年12 月31 日收治的激素受体阳性乳腺癌患者285 例,并回顾性分析285 例乳腺癌患者的临床病理特点、治疗方式与患者无病生存率(disease free survival,DFS)与总生存率(overall survival,OS)之间的关系,探究其预后的影响因素。结果 随访的285 例中,5年DFS 为90.3%,5 年OS 为94.6%。年龄≤35 岁患者相比35~60 岁患者DFS 与OS 均缩短(P<0.01)。淋巴结未转移患者比转移患者预后更佳(P<0.01)。术后辅助化疗、术后辅助放疗、内分泌治疗可显著改善患者的DFS 及OS(P<0.01)。间断或中断内分泌治疗能影响患者DFS 与OS(P<0.01)。中药巩固治疗能改善患者DFS(P<0.05),但未能影响OS。结论 淋巴结转移是全组患者的不良预后因素。辅助化疗、辅助放疗、内分泌治疗均能改善激素受体阳性乳腺癌的生存,加强术后的个体化管理对规范内分泌治疗意义重大。  相似文献

The aeroelastic response of a NACA 0012 airfoil in the flow regimes prior to flutter is investigated in a wind tunnel. We observe intermittent bursts of periodic oscillations in the pitch and plunge response, that appear in an irregular manner from a background of relatively lower amplitude aperiodic fluctuations. As the flow speed is increased, the intermittent bursts last longer in time until eventually transitioning to a fully developed periodic response, indicating the onset of flutter. The repeating patterns in the measured response are visualized using recurrence plots. We show that statistics of the recurrence states extracted from these plots can be used to develop model-free precursors that forewarn an impending transition to flutter, well before its onset.  相似文献

Gas-solid fluidized beds are widely considered as nonlinear and chaotic dynamic systems. Pressure fluc- tuations were measured in a fluidized bed of 0.15 m in diameter and were analyzed using multiple approaches: discrete Fourier transform (DFT), discrete wavelet transform (DWT), and nonlinear recur- rence quantification analysis (RQA). Three different methods proposed that the complex dynamics of a fluidized bed system can be presented as macro, meso and micro structures. It was found from DFT and DWT that a minimum in wide band energy with an increase in the velocity corresponds to the transition between macro structures and finer structures of the fluidization system. Corresponding transition veloc- ity occurs at gas velocities of 0.3, 0.5 and 0.6 m]s for sands with mean diameters of 150, 280 and 490/~m, respectively. DFT, DWT, and RQA could determine frequency range of0-3.125 Hz for macro, 3. ! 25-50 Hz for meso, and 50-200 Hz for micro structures. The RQA showed that the micro structures have the least periodicity and consequently their determinism and laminarity are the lowest. The results show that a combination of DFT, DWT, and RQA can be used as an effective approach to characterize multi-scale flow behavior in gas-solid fluidized beds.  相似文献
