In this paper we compute the line integral of a complex function on a rectifiable cycle homologous to zero obtaining a Green’s formula with multiplicities that involves the of the function and the index of the cycle. We consider this formula in several settings and we obtain a sharp version in terms of the Lebesgue integrability properties of the partial derivatives of the function. This result depends on the proven fact that the index of a rectifiable cycle is square integrable with respect to the planar Lebesgue measure. We characterize the relation between the geometrical properties of Weyl manifolds and the algebraic properties of the Weyl algebras (§1) and the deformation algebras associated to two conformal Weyl connections (§2). Matsuoka showed an asymptotic formula for the coefficients of the Laurent expansion of ζ (s) at s = 1. In the present paper we extend this result to a large class of Dirichlet series which was first studied by Chandrasekharan and Narasimhan. Our proofs are based on a saddle point argument and use the fact that the Dirichlet series under consideration admit a functional equation. Smooth, complex, ruled surfaces embedded in ℙ5 as linearly normal scrolls, such that they are contained in a quadric cone, are considered. Rational scrolls and some elliptic scrolls are shown to be the only ones contained in cones of rank 5. Results on scrolls contained in cones of lower ranks are also obtained.  相似文献

We describe a way of constructing Jacobians of hyperelliptic curves of genus g ≥ 2, defined over a number field, whose Jacobians have a rational point of order of some (well chosen) integer l ≥ g + 1; the method is based on a polynomial identity. Using this approach we construct new families of genus 2 curves defined over — which contain the modular curves X0(31) (and X0(22) as a by-product) and X0(29), the Jacobians of which have a rational point of order 5 and 7 respectively. We also construct a new family of hyperelliptic genus 3 curves defined over —, which contains the modular curve X0(41), the Jacobians of which have a rational point of order 10. Finally we show that all hyperelliptic modular curves X0(N) with N a prime number fit into the described strategy, except for N = 37 in which case we give another explanation. Properties of the degree of Belyi functions. A famous theorem of Belyi characterizes the curves defined over a number field by the existence of an element of its function field with certain ramification properties. In this article we are interested in the degree of these functions. We define the Belyi degree of a curve defined over a number field and the Belyi degree of a point on such a curve. We prove finiteness results concerning these invariants. We give an explicit upper bound for the Belyi degree of a point on the projective line, depending on the height and on the degree of its field of definition.  相似文献

Let X be a locally compact Hausdorff space and C 0(X) the Banach space of continuous functions on X vanishing at infinity. In this paper, we shall study unbounded disjointness preserving linear functionals on C 0(X). They arise from prime ideals of C 0(X), and we translate it into the cozero set ideal setting. In particular, every unbounded disjointness preserving linear functional of c 0 can be constructed explicitly through an ultrafilter on complementary to a cozero set ideal. This ultrafilter method can be extended to produce many, but in general not all, such functionals on C 0(X) for arbitrary X. We also make some remarks where C 0(X) is replaced by a non-commutative C*-algebra.  相似文献
