The exposure of the Cd2Nb2O7:Cr crystal to monochromatic light with wavelength shorter than 600 nm at 12 K decreases the Cr3? photoluminescence emission and allows us to observe thermoluminescence within 60–200 K during subsequent heating of the crystal at a rate of 0.077 K/s. The glow curve of thermoluminescence revealed a rather complex structure with two pronounced intensive glow peaks at 91 and 180 K and four rather weak peaks at 99, 117, 132, and 155K. An analysis of the glow peaks by “an initial rise” gave evidence of many various charge carrier traps with activation energies from 150 to 470 meV. Since a comparison of the thermoluminescence and photoluminescence emission spectra showed that these spectra are identical, it was concluded that the thermoluminescence glow peaks are associated with thermal release of charge carriers from shallow traps followed by Cr4?→Cr3?(2E) and/or Cr2?→Cr3?(2E) charge capture and 2E→4A2 radiative decay of Cr3?(2E) ions.  相似文献

Racemic 3-(4-indolyloxy)-1,2-propanediol 2 has been effectively resolved into (S)- and (R)-enantiomers by a preferential crystallization procedure. Non-racemic (S)-2 was converted into (S)-4-(2,3-epoxypropoxy)-1H-indole (S)-4 via a Mitsunobu reaction and then into (S)-pindolol (S)-1. The crystalline (S)-1 was studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction. A large number of symmetry independent molecules (Z = 6) led to a weakening of the system of strong intermolecular hydrogen bonds, which combined with a loose packing (PI = 64.6%), may be the cause of the abnormally low melting point of (S)-1 as compared with rac-1.  相似文献

Metal(II) and metal(III) coordination compounds of griseofulvin (GFV) drug were synthesized. The structure of the ligand was determined on the basis of elemental analyses, infrared and 1H NMR spectroscopies and thermal studies. GFV behaved as a neutral tridentate chelating agent and coordinated to metal ions through three oxygen atoms: two methoxy groups and oxygen atom of furan ring. Metal complexes were characterized by means of elemental analyses and molar conductance, spectral (infrared, electron spin resonance) and thermal studies. All the complexes showed molar conductance behaviour corresponding to an electrolytic nature. All the complexes showed octahedral geometry, except [Zn(GFV)Cl]Cl that showed tetrahedral geometry. Density functional theory (DFT) calculations were employed to understand and estimate the contribution of each interaction in the formation of the assembly using several theoretical models. The computed parameters from DFT calculations for structure optimizations and vibrational frequencies were in good agreement with the experimental data. Newly synthesized metal complexes in addition to GFV were examined against opportunistic pathogens. The biological applications of complexes were studied with two Gram‐positive bacteria (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and two Gram‐negative bacteria (Escherichia coli and Neisseria gonorrhoeae) as well as their antifungal activity against Candida albicans. Results suggested that metal complexes were more biologically sensitive than free ligand. The complexes showed a moderate inhibition of MCF7 breast cancer cell line growth. Molecular docking studies further helped in understanding the mode of action of the compounds through their various interactions with the crystal structures of: human serum albumin (PDB: 5FUO), Staphylococcus aureus nucleoside (PDB: 3Q8U), human acetylcholinesterase (PDB: 1B41) and the human DNA–Topo I complex (PDB: 1SC7).  相似文献

TiO2 nanoparticles with unique crystalline-core/disordered-shell structures were synthesized in a one step process by employing 4-methoxycalix[7]arene nanoreactors. The nanoparticles were anchored on the surface of quartz beads as a monolayer and showed high visible-light driven photocatalytic activity, excellent long term durability and anti-poisoning property. Photocatalytic performance of the TiO2 nanoparticles was tested in a packed bed and complete decolorization of methyl orange was achieved under ultraviolet light or visible light. The decolorization process followed first-order kinetics and showed different behaviors for ultraviolet and visible radiation, while the overall rates of degradation were the same.  相似文献

An efficient in‐situ reduction and cyclization reaction for the synthesis of pyrazolo[4,3‐f]quinoline, pyrazolo[3,4‐f]quinoline, and pyrazolo[3,2‐f]quinoline derivatives directly form 5‐nitroindazole, 6‐nitroindazole and 5‐nitroindole in the presence of SnCl2·2H2O was reported. Compared to traditional synthetic methods, this approach has the advantages of stable reagents, easy obtaining raw material, and high yields. In this research, SnCl2·2H2O is the efficient reducing agent for the in‐situ reduction and cyclization reaction of nitro‐compound. In addition, this process provided an alternative approach for the synthesis of target compounds.  相似文献

New pyrazolo[1.5.4-de]quinoxaline derivatives were prepared by the action of 7-aminoindazole 1 on diethyl and dimethyl acetylene dicarboxylates. The structures of the obtained compounds and the direction of cyclization were investigated through a crystallographic study of compound 2. Further alkylation, hydrogenation, and bromination were also explored. The action of potassium thiocyanate on the obtained halo product led to a tetracyclic compound of 1.3-thiazolo[3.4-a]pyrazolo[1.5.4-de]quinoxaline series.  相似文献

Crystal structures and structural inhomogeneities observed in YBa2Cu3O7-y are reviewed. It is brought out that a proper understanding of the nature of the structural inhomogeneities is essential for exploiting the technological potential of this material. Changing ocean-carbonate chemistry caused by oceanic uptake of anthropogenic atmospheric carbon dioxide leads to the formation of carbonic acid, thus lowering the pH of the sea with predictions of a decrease from current levels at 8.15 to 7.82 by the end of the century. The exact measurement of subtle pH changes in seawater over time presents significant analytical challenges, as the equilibrium constants are governed by water temperature and pressure, salinity effects, and the existence of other ionic species in seawater.Here, we review these challenges and how pH also affects dissolved inorganic and organic chemicals that affect biological systems. This includes toxic compounds (xenobiotics) as well as chemicals that are beneficial for marine organisms, such as the chemical signals (i.e. pheromones) that are utilized to coordinate animal behavior. We review how combining analytical, molecular and biochemical tools can lead to the development of biosensors to detect pH effects to enable predictive modeling of the ecological consequences of ocean acidification.  相似文献
