DYNAMIC RHEOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR OF POLYPROPYLENE FILLED WITH ULTRA-FINE POWDERED RUBBER PARTICLES

Dynamic rheological characteristics of polypropylene (PP) filled with ultra-fine full-vulcanized powdered rubber (UFPR) composed of styrene-butadiene copolymer were studied through dynamic rheological measurements on an Advanced Rheometric Expansion System (ARES). A specific viscoelastic phenomenon, i.e. “the second plateau“, appeared at low frequencies, and exhibits a certain dependence on the amount of rubber particles and the dispersion state in the matrix. This phenomenon is attributed to the formation of aggregation structure of rubber particles. The analyses of Cole-Cole diagrams of the dynamic viscoelastic functions suggest that the heterogeneity of the composites is enhanced on increasing both particle content and temperature.     

Effects of N/Z on survival probability of heavy nuclei

The excitation functions of the evaporation residue formation probability of three heavy nuclei 194Pb, 200Pb and 206Pb are calculated by using a Langevin equation coupled with a statistical decay model.The results show that the neutron-to-proton ratio (N/Z) of a compound nucleus has an effect on survival probability and this effect becomes larger with increasing N/Z. This is because the fission barrier and the pre-saddle particle emission depend on the N/Z ratio of the system.     

多项分布总体的相等对增凸序问题的多样本检验

概率分布间随机序在实践中已经得到了广泛的应用,而且似然比检验是用以检验涉及随机序问题的最普遍的检验方法．但是,关于多个多项式总体间的增凸序约束的统计推断问题并没有得到充分发展．多样本的增凸序对无约束的检验问题已被研究．然而,多总体的相等性对增凸序的假设检验问题似乎更有研究意义．并且分布的相等对随机序的假设检验问题往往是统计学家最为普遍地考虑．对多样本的情况,本文考虑了分布的相等对增凸序的假设检验问题,并且获得似然比检验统计量的零渐近分布,它是一组x~2分布随机变量的加权和,即■~2分布．

Answering a question of M. Talagrand, we show that there is a fixed L with the following property. Doob-meyer decomposition for set-indexed submartingales

Set-indexed martingales and submartingales are defined and studied. The admissible function of a submartingale is defined and some class (D) conditions are given which allow the extension of the function to a -additive measure on the predictable -algebra. Then, we prove a Doob-Meyer decomposition: A set-indexed submartingale can be decomposed into the sum of a weak martingale and an increasing process. A hypothesis of predictability ensures the uniqueness of this decomposition. An explicit construction of the increasing process associated with a submartingale is given. PHOTOCONDUCTIVITY STUDY OF NEW POLYACETYLENE DERIVATIVES WITH DIFFERENT SUBSTITUENTS

The photoconductivities of a series of novel polyacetylene derivatives （PAs） serving as charge generation materials in the single-layered photoreceptors were investigated using photoinduced xerographic discharge technique. It was found that the substitution can improve the photosensitivity of PAs by increasing the conjugation of π electrons. When the substituent is itself photoconductive, the photoconductivity becomes even higher. It can be concluded from cyclic voltammetry that when the HOMO level of the polymer is closer to that of the charge transport material, the photoconduction performance will be better.     

TRANSAMIDATION IN THE in situ BLENDING OF POLYAMIDE 1212 WITH POLYAMIDE 6 THROUGH ANIONIC POLYMERIZATION OF CAPROLACTAM

20 wt% polyamide 12(PA1212)pellets were dissolved in molten caprolactam.The caprolactam was then catalyzed at 180℃and polymerized by means of anionic ring-opening polymerization to produce in situ blends of the resultant polyamide 6(PA6)and PA1212.Mechanical blends with same ingredient were prepared through melt blending on a twin-screw extruder.Scanning electron microscopy(SEM)observation revealed that contrary to the mechanical blends with small spherulites embedded in the matrix,no phase-separation existed in the in situ blends.The results of thermal analysis by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)showed that single melting peak and crystallization peak existed for the in situ blends,while two melting and crystallization peaks appeared for the mechanical blends.The in situ blend film and the mixed blend film,both cast from a dilute formic acid solution with a concentration of 0.5 g/L,remained similar crystallization and melting behavior as above.It is proved by solution ~(13)C-NMR analysis that transamidation took place during the in situ blending,and it is suggested that the combination of temperature increasing and the basic surrounding derived from NaOH during polymerization resulted in the occurrence of transamidation.Furthermore,it is proposed that the interchange reaction between PA1212 and PA6 also resulted from the degradative reaction during the anionic polymerization.
