The liquid-phase direct catalytic amination of benzene to aniline was performed in acetic acid water solvent using a series of vanadium(Ⅲ,Ⅳ,Ⅴ)complexes with N,O-or O,O-ligands as catalysts and hydroxylamine hydrochloride as the aminating agent.
