The behavior of acridine orange base (AOB) in nonaqueous reverse micelles composed of n-heptane/AOT/polar solvent has been performed. Ethylene glycol (EG), propylene glycol (PG), glycerol (GY), formamide (FA), dimethylformamide (DMF), and dimethylacetamide (DMA) were employed as water substitutes. The studies were performed by static and time-resolved emission spectroscopy. Thus, the distribution of AOB between the two pseudophases of the aggregates was quantified by measuring the partition constants from emission spectra at different surfactant concentration. Similar values to those obtained by means of absorption spectroscopy were obtained. This match is indicating that AOB is not experiencing partition during the lifetime of the excited state. Partitioning to the micelles is strongly favored in micelles containing hydrogen-bond donor (HBD) solvents rather than non-HBD solvents. Variations of fluorescence lifetimes with AOT concentration confirm these results. By the solvatochromic behavior of AOB in the different systems it is shown that the microenvironment at the interface is distinct from that of the bulk polar solvent, indicating that the probe senses no "free" solvent. The steady state anisotropy (r) was measured for EG/AOT/n-heptane and DMF/AOT/n-heptane systems as representatives for HBD and non-HBD polar solvents, respectively. The value of r is higher in the micelles containing EG than that obtained with DMF, and increases with AOT concentration. This is explained as due to highly structured polar solvents in the inner core. EG is interacting with the polar heads of AOT through hydrogen-bond interaction, while DMF can only interact with the Na+ counterions. A comparative study of the energy loss, mean free path and straggling of protons, positrons and electrons in an electron gas is performed using three dielectric models which represent the case of metals (Lindhard model for a free electron gas) and the cases of semiconductors and insulators (Levine and Louie model and Brandt and Reinheimer model for systems with a band gap). The properties of individual and collective contributions according to each model and for each of the particles are analyzed. In particular, the effects produced by the band gap of the material and by the properties of the incident particle are analyzed in detail. Significant differences related to the mass and to the indistinguishability (in the case of electrons) are described. We present the derivation and the solutions to the coupled electromagnetic and gravitational perturbations with sources in a charged black hole background. We work in the so called ghost gauge and consider as source of the perturbations the infall of radial currents. In this way, we study a system in which it is provoked a response involving both, gravitational and electromagnetic waves, which allows us to analyze the dependence between them. The advances in recording, editing, and broadcasting multimedia contents in digital form motivate to protect these digital contents from illegal use, such as duplication, manipulation, and redistribution. However, watermarking algorithms are designed to satisfy requirements of applications, as different applications have different concerns. We intend to design a watermarking algorithm for applications which require high embedding capacity and imperceptibility, to maintain the integrity of the host signal as well as embedded information. Reversible watermarking is a promising technique which satisfies our requirements. In this paper, we concentrate on improving the watermark capacity and reducing the perceptual degradation of an image. We investigated the Luo's [1] additive interpolation-error expansion algorithm and enhanced it by incorporating with two intelligent techniques: genetic algorithm (GA), and particle swarm optimization (PSO). Genetic algorithm is applied to exploit the correlation of image pixel values to obtain better estimation of neighboring pixel values, which results in optimal balance between information storage capacity and imperceptibility. Particle swarm optimization (intelligent technique) is also applied for the same purpose. Experimental results show that PSO and GA nearly give the same results, but GA outperforms the PSO. Experimental results also reveal that the proposed strategy outperforms the state of art works in terms of perceptual quality and watermarking payload. 相似文献

Nano-crystals of Li0.35Zn0.3Fe2.35O4 ferrite have been synthesized using citrate precursor method. The sample synthesized was sintered at different temperatures in order to vary their crystallite size. The average crystallite size was found in the range 24?C57?nm by varying the temperature from 300 to 1,100?°C. X-ray diffraction measurements confirmed the formation of cubic spinel structure at all the sintering temperatures in this work. The high frequency performance of the ferrite samples were estimated by measuring the frequency dispersion of the dielectric constant, dielectric loss and ac electrical conductivity. The dielectric constant has been observed to show normal behavior with frequency and decreases with the decrease in crystallite size. It is also observed that decrease in dielectric constant depends on sintering temperature because of lithium evaporation at higher temperature. A low value of dielectric constant and dielectric loss has been found, which makes them applicable for high frequency applications by decreasing the skin effect. The impedance spectroscopy technique has been used to study the effect of grain and grain boundary on the electrical properties of Li0.35Zn0.3Fe2.35O4 ferrite. The analysis of data shows only one semi-circle corresponding to the grain boundary volume suggesting that the conduction mechanism takes place predominantly through grain boundary volume in the prepared samples. 相似文献

Montmorillonite KSF clay supported CuO nanoparticles efficiently catalyzes one-pot aromatic azidonation of aryl boronic acids followed by regioselective azide–alkyne 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition (CuAAC) reaction producing corresponding 1-aryl-1,2,3-triazole derivatives at room temperature in excellent yields without use of any additives. Investigations on mechanism of CuAAC revealed that sodium azide, which is used as azidonating reagent in one-pot protocol reduces Cu(II) to click-active Cu(I). The catalytic efficiency of another Cu(II) source CuSO4 in combination with NaN3 for this one-pot CuAAC protocol, further supported our mechanism. This is the first report for use of Cu(II)/NaN3 catalytic system for CuAAC protocol. The clay–Cu(II) catalyst being ligand-free, leaching-free, easy to synthesize from inexpensive commercially available precursors, recyclable, and environmentally friendly will be highly useful for economical synthesis of 1,4-disubstituted 1,2,3-triazoles. 相似文献

New gold(III) complexes involving substituted picolinic acids acting as bidentate ligands have been characterised: [AuCl2(LL), and [Au(LL)2]+ (H-LL=hydroxy- or carboxy-substituted picolinic acid). The latter readily undergo deprotonation of the substituent on one ligand, to yield novel uncharged complexes which appear to be polymeric via hydrogen bonds between protonated and depronated substituents. A completely depronated anionic complex has also been obtained. The characterisation of these materials was considerably aided by197Au Mussbauer spectroscopy. 相似文献
