An ecosystem containing three interacting species is studied using both Mean Field approach and Kinetic Monte Carlo simulations on a lattice substrate. The so called 3rd order LLV model involves birth, death and reaction processes with 3rd order nonlinearities and feedbacks. At the mean field level this system exhibits conservative oscillations; the analytic form of the constant of motion is presented. The stochastic simulations show that the density oscillations disappear for sufficiently large lattices, while they are present locally, on small lattice windows. Introduction of mixing via long range migration in the two reacting species changes this picture. For small migration rates p, the behavior remains as with p = 0 and the system is divided into local asynchronous oscillators. As p increases the system passes through a phase transition and exhibits a weak disorder limit cycle through a supercritical Hopf-like bifurcation. The amplitude of the limit cycle depends on the rate p, on the range of migration r and on the system kinetic rates k1, k2 and k3.  相似文献

We analyze the critical transitions (a) to endemic states in an SIS epidemiological model, and (b) to full synchronization in an ensemble of coupled chaotic maps, on networks where, at any given time, each node is connected to just one neighbour. In these “monogamous” populations, the lack of connectivity in the instantaneous interaction pattern—that would prevent both the propagation of an infection and the collective entrainment into synchronization—is compensated by occasional random reconnections which recombine interacting couples by exchanging their partners. The transitions to endemic states and to synchronization are recovered if the recombination rate is sufficiently large, thus giving rise to a bifurcation as this rate varies. We study this new critical phenomenon both analytically and numerically.  相似文献

We study the effects of noise on the collective dynamics of an ensemble of coupled phase oscillators whose natural frequencies are all identical, but whose coupling strengths are not the same all over the ensemble. The intensity of noise can also be heterogeneous, representing diversity in the individual responses to external fluctuations. We show that the desynchronization transition induced by noise may be completely suppressed, even for arbitrarily large noise intensities, is the distribution of coupling strengths decays slowly enough for large couplings. Equivalently, if the response to noise of a sufficiently large fraction of the ensemble is weak enough, desynchronization cannot occur. The two effects combine with each other when the response to noise and the coupling strength of each oscillator are correlated. This combination is quantitatively characterized and illustrated with explicit examples.  相似文献

 以单周期信号为例,数值模拟并讨论了注入频率和注入光场波动强度对主从式半导体激光器同步性能的影响。分别通过直接调制和外部调制两种方式获得单周期信号,并采用改进的参数——相似指数评价系统的同步性能。研究结果表明:当注入强度足够大时,系统实现注入锁定同步,外部调制的相似指数大于内部调制;注入强度恒定时,同步品质几乎不受调制指数的影响,而受调制频率的影响;由于内部、外部调制引起主激光器的输出反相,两种调制方式下同步品质随调制频率的变化趋势也相反。  相似文献

同步荧光光谱方法与表面荧光技术结合,研究了柴油中混120#溶剂油的荧光光谱.通过佑发射峰位置蓝移程度可以快速分析出柴油中是否含有120#溶剂油,并发现含有120#溶剂油的柴油其发射峰相对纯柴油的发射峰偏移量与柴油中含有120#溶剂油的百分含量具有一定的关系.通过这种关系可以定性的判断出柴油中掺杂120#溶剂油的多少,这对于分析市场上柴油的真伪、维护市场稳定具有重要的意义.  相似文献

In this paper, the adaptive synchronization and lag synchronization are considered for uncertain dynamical system with time delay based on parameter identification and a novel control method is then further given using the Lyapunov functional method. With this new and effective method, parameter identification and lag synchronization can be achieved simultaneously. Combination of two basic types of synchronization, anticipatory synchronization and lagged synchronization, is investigated numerically between two coupled semiconductor lasers. It is found that lagged synchronization produced by a backward coupling with a suitable delay can combine with the originally hidden anticipatory synchronization and produce a type of synchronization overcoming the original lagged synchronization produced by a forward coupling. We study the combination synchronization phenomenon when the delay of the backward coupling is different from that of the original anticipatory synchronization. Our results suggest that the synchronization combination phenomenon might allow an interpretation of an experimental observation by Sivaprakasam et al. [Phys. Rev. Lett. 87, 154101 (2001)] that the anticipating time is irrespective of the external-cavity round trip time, which to date remains to be understood.  相似文献

We study the cross-correlations of buy and sell volumes on the Korean stock market in high frequency. We observe that the pulling effects of volumes are as small as that of returns. The properties of the correlations of buy and sell volumes differ. They are explained by the degree of synchronization of stock volumes. Further, the pulling effects on the minimal spanning tree are studied. In minimal spanning trees with directed links, the large pulling effects are clustered at the center, not uniformly distributed. The Epps effect of buy and sell volumes are observed. The reversal of the cross-correlations of buy and sell volumes is also detected.  相似文献
