The set of associated homogeneous distributions (AHDs) with support in R is an important subset of the tempered distributions because it contains the majority of the (one‐dimensional) distributions typically encountered in physics applications (including the δ distribution). In a previous work of the author, a convolution and multiplication product for AHDs on R was defined and fully investigated. The aim of this paper is to give an easy introduction to these new distributional products. The constructed algebras are internal to Schwartz’ theory of distributions and, when one restricts to AHDs, provide a simple alternative for any of the larger generalized function algebras, currently used in non‐linear models. Our approach belongs to the same class as certain methods of renormalization, used in quantum field theory, and are known in the distributional literature as multi‐valued methods. Products of AHDs on R, based on this definition, are generally multi‐valued only at critical degrees of homogeneity. Unlike other definitions proposed in this class, the multi‐valuedness of our products is canonical in the sense that it involves at most one arbitrary constant. A selection of results of (one‐dimensional) distributional convolution and multiplication products are given, with some of them justifying certain distributional products used in quantum field theory. By using Hilbert space techniques, the finite Tchebycheff transformations of the first and the second kind are defined on appropriate spaces of generalized functions. In the present investigation we define a new class of meromorphic functions on the punctured unit disk △*:= {z ∈ C : 0 < |z| < 1} by making use of the generalized Dziok-Srivastava operator H l m [α1 ]. Coefficient inequalities, growth and distortion inequalities, as well as closure results are obtained. We also establish some results concerning the partial sums of meromorphic functions and neighborhood results for functions in new class.  相似文献

In the present paper, we introduce some new subclasses of meromorphic starlike,convex, close-to-convex and quasi-convex functions of β-reciprocal in terms of the linear operator using subordination. We obtain the coefficient estimates, convolution properties, integral preserving properties and inclusion relationships of the classes. A vectorial nonlocal and nonlinear parabolic problem on a bounded domain for an intermediate state between type‐I and type‐II superconductivity is proposed. The domain is for instance a multiband superconductor that combines the characteristics of both types. The nonlocal term is represented by a (space) convolution with a singular kernel arising in Eringen's model. The nonlinearity is coming from the power law relation by Rhyner. The well‐posedness of the problem is discussed under low regularity assumptions and the error estimate for a semi‐implicit time‐discrete scheme based on backward Euler approximation is established. Let φ be a Young function, Ω be a locally compact space, and μ be a positive Radon measure on Ω. We consider a strict topology (in the sense of Sentilles‐Taylor) on the Orlicz function space and investigate various properties of this locally convex topology. We also study the Orlicz space of a locally compact group G with a left Haar measure under the strict topology and certain other natural locally convex topologies. Finally we present some results on various continuity properties of convolution operators on under the topology and other natural ones.  相似文献

We study aspects of the Wasserstein distance in the context of self‐similar measures. Computing this distance between two measures involves minimising certain moment integrals over the space of couplings, which are measures on the product space with the original measures as prescribed marginals. We focus our attention on self‐similar measures associated to equicontractive iterated function systems consisting of two maps on the unit interval and satisfying the open set condition. We are particularly interested in understanding the restricted family of self‐similar couplings and our main achievement is the explicit computation of the 1st and 2nd moment integrals for such couplings. We show that this family is enough to yield an explicit formula for the 1st Wasserstein distance and provide non‐trivial upper and lower bounds for the 2nd Wasserstein distance for these self‐similar measures.  相似文献

In the present paper we will study the spectral property of a class of self-affine measures under the condition of compatible pair. We first answer a question of Dutkay and Jorgensen concerning the relationship between spectral self-affine measure and compatible pair. We then consider the spectra of Bernoulli convolutions and obtain a sharp result which extends the corresponding result of Jorgensen, Kornelson and Shuman. Finally, we provide a structural property for the integer spectrum of a spectral self-affine measure.  相似文献

We consider some functional Banach algebras with multiplications as the usual convolution product * and the so‐called Duhamel product ?. We study the structure of generators of the Banach algebras (C(n)[0, 1], *) and (C(n)[0, 1], ?). We also use the Banach algebra techniques in the calculation of spectral multiplicities and extended eigenvectors of some operators. Moreover, we give in terms of extended eigenvectors a new characterization of a special class of composition operators acting in the Lebesgue space Lp[0, 1] by the formula (Cφf)(x) = f(φ(x)).  相似文献
