An efficient high-energy eye-safe optical parametric oscillator (OPO) based on a type-Ⅱ non-critically phasematched KTP crystal is demonstrated. The KTP OPO is pumped by a quasi-cw diode side-pumped electrooptic Q-switched Nd:YAG laser in a compound-cavity configuration. The maximum output energy of the signal wavelength at 1.57 μm b 66.5 m J, corresponding to an electrical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 4.47% and an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 12.1%. The pulse width (FWHM) is about 3.6 ns with a peak power of 18.5 MW. The output energy is insensitive to repetition rate and demonstrates good stability. 相似文献

We report the operation of a bidirectional picosecond pulsed ring Nd:YVO4 laser based on a low-temperaturegrown semiconductor saturable absorber mirror. Except for the laser crystal, the six-mirror ring laser cavity has no intra-cavity elements such as focusing lens or mirror. We report on simultaneous magneto-optical trapping of fermionic ^40K and bosonic 87Rb atoms. This trap is the first step towards quantum degenerate fermi gas ^40K. Laser lights for the two-species magneto-optical trap (MOT) are generated from diode lasers and tapered amplifier. The enriched ^40K dispenser is utilized in the experimental setup. We obtain up to 10^7 -10^8 ^40K and 10^8 -10^9 ^87Rb atoms respectively in the steady-state single-species MOT. 相似文献

A high power dual-wavelength Ti:sapphire laser system with wide turning range and high efficiency is described, which consists of two prism-dispersed resonators pumped by an a11-solid-state frequency-doubled Nd:YAG laser. Tunable dual-wavelength outputs, with one wavelength range from 750nm to 795nm and the other from 80Ohm to 850nm, have been demonstrated. With a pump power of 23 W at 532nm, a repetition rate of 6.5kHz and a pulse width of 67.6ns, the maximum dual-wavelength output power of 5.6 W at 785.3nm and 812.1 run, with a pulse width of 17.2ns and a line width of 2nm, has been achieved, leading to an optical-to-optical conversion efficiency of 24.4%. 相似文献

The anionic layers are stacked perpendicularly to the c axis of the unit cell forming two-dimensional channels between the layers. The [C4H9NH3]+ cations interdigitate in a bilayer and reside in the 2D channels leading to a sandwich-like arrangement of the anion and cations. 相似文献
