This paper considers the problem of global asymptotic stability of a class of nonlinear uncertain discrete-time state-delayed systems. The class of systems under investigation involves multiple state delays, norm-bounded parameter uncertainties, and generalized overflow nonlinearities which cover usual types of overflow arithmetic used in practice. A new criterion for the global asymptotic stability of such systems is presented. A numerical example is given to illustrate the applicability of the criterion presented. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider a nonlinear switched time-delay (NSTD) system with unknown switching times and unknown system parameters, where the output measurement is uncertain. This system is the underling dynamical system for the batch process of glycerol bioconversion to 1,3-propanediol induced by Klebsiella pneumoniae. The uncertain output measurement is regarded as a stochastic vector (whose components are stochastic variables) and the only information about its distribution is the first-order moment. The objective of this paper is to identify the unknown quantities of the NSTD system. For this, a distributionally robust optimization problem (a bi-level optimization problem) governed by the NSTD system is proposed, where the relative error under the environment of uncertain output measurements is involved in the cost functional. The bi-level optimization problem is transformed into a single-level optimization problem with non-smooth term through the application of duality theory in probability space. By applying the smoothing technique, the non-smooth term is approximated by a smooth term and the convergence of the approximation is established. Then, the gradients of the cost functional with respect to switching times and system parameters are derived. A hybrid optimization algorithm is developed to solve the transformed problem. Finally, we verify the obtained switching times and system parameters, as well as the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, by solving this distributionally robust optimization problem. 相似文献

This paper presents a discrete and distributed time-delays dependent simultaneous approach to deterministic and uncertain stochastic high-order neural networks. New results are proposed in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) by exploiting a novel Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional and by making use of novel techniques for time-delay systems. In this paper, we propose a memory state feedback model predictive control (MPC) law for a discrete-time uncertain state delayed system with input constraints. The model uncertainty is assumed to be polytopic, and the delay is assumed to be unknown, but with a known upper bound. We derive a sufficient condition for cost monotonicity in terms of LMI, which can be easily solved by an efficient convex optimization algorithm. A delayed state dependent quadratic function with an estimated delay index is considered for incorporating MPC problem formulation. The MPC problem is formulated to minimize the upper bound of infinite horizon cost that satisfies the sufficient conditions. Therefore, a less conservative sufficient conditions in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) can be derived to design a more robust MPC algorithm. For systems described by ordinary differential equations, we introduce the notion of exponential convergence to a ball containing the origin of the state space. For two specific classes of uncertain systems, controllers are presented which assure this behavior. The procedures usually adopted in the evaluation of the stochastic response of structures with uncertain parameters, the so-called stochastic structures, are affected by some limits. Namely, the major drawbacks are: the conspicuous computational time required for the analysis of many degree of freedom systems and the loss of accuracy in the case of large uncertainty in the parameters. A method able to reduce the previous inconveniences was recently introduced in the study of statically loaded linear structures. The method, named improved perturbation method, was also extended to the field of linear dynamics. In both cases, the improved perturbation method provides a good approximation, even in the case of moderately large deviation of the uncertain parameters, and the computational time required is comparable to conventional first order perturbation. The present paper intends to apply the improved perturbation method in the second order analysis of geometrically non-linear uncertain systems subjected to static and dynamic deterministic forces. 相似文献

In this paper, interval arithmetic simulation techniques are presented to determine guaranteed enclosures of the state variables of both continuous and discrete-time systems with uncertain but bounded parameters. In nonlinear uncertain systems axis-parallel interval boxes are mapped to complexly shaped regions in the state space that represent sets of possible combinations of state variables. The approximation of each region by a single interval box causes an accumulating overestimation from time-step to time-step, usually called the wrapping effect. The algorithm presented in this paper minimizes the wrapping effect by applying consistency techniques based on interval Newton methods. Subintervals that do not belong to the exact solution at a given time can be eliminated in order to give a tighter but still conservative approximation of the exact solution. Additionally, efficient splitting and merging strategies are employed to limit the number of subintervals. The proposed algorithm is applied to the simulation of an activated sludge process in biological wastewater treatment. 相似文献
