Water splitting activity, the multiline EPR signal associated with S(2)-state of the CaMn(4)-cluster and the fast and slow phases of the induction curve of the millisecond delayed chlorophyll fluorescence from photosystem II (PSII) in the pH range of 4.5-8.5 were studied in the thylakoid membranes and purified PSII particles. It has been found that O(2) evolution and the multiline EPR signal were inhibited at acidic (pK approximately 5.3) and alkaline (pK approximately 8.1) pH values, and were maximal at pH 6.0-7.0. Our results indicate that the loss of O(2) evolution and the S(2)-state multiline EPR signal associated with the decrease of the millisecond delayed chlorophyll fluorescence only in alkaline region (pH 7.0-8.5). Possible correlations of the millisecond delayed chlorophyll fluorescence components with the donor side reactions in PSII are discussed. 相似文献

Conditions were found for the chemisorption preconcentration of aniline, 4-chloroaniline, and 2,5-dichloroaniline from air using tubes packed with silica gel with immobilized 4-chloro-5,7-dinitrobenzofurazan and for the subsequent HPLC determination with diode-array detection. The maximum analyte recoveries (98, 90, and 75% for aniline, 4-chloroaniline, and 2,5-dichloroaniline, respectively) were achieved at a 2-cm thickness of the adsorbent layer (silica gel with a grain size of 0.1–0.3 mm impregnated with 3 wt % 4-chloro-5,7-dinitrobenzofurazan), an aspiration rate of 0.6–0.8 L/min, and an aspirated air volume of 10 L. Taking into account a tenfold preconcentration of analytes after the desorption, the detection limit for aniline is equal to 0.0007 mg/m3. 相似文献

Effects of high-voltage pulses on electroconduction of molten chlorides of alkaline-earth metals and their mixtures with potassium chloride are studied experimentally. It is established that the electroconductivity of the melts subjected to the pulses increases proportionally to the voltage amplitude and the number of activating pulses in a pulse series. A method of synthesis of aminobicycloheptanols by the hydroxyhalogenation of bicyclo[2.2.1]- heptene and its alkyl derivatives in a cycloolefin?oxidant?hydrogen halide system to induce electrophilic intermediates followed by substitution of the halogen atoms by amino groups of different compositions and structures. It was found that the selectivity of the reaction depends on the formation/consumption rate ratio for the electrophilic intermediate. A high selectivity with respect to hydroxyhalides takes place, when the consumption rate of the latter intermediate is higher than its formation rate. An increase in the pH of the medium becomes higher than 10.5 decreases the yield of amino alcohols and changes the reaction direction due to acceleration of dehydrohalogenation and formation of the corresponding epoxides. 相似文献

Background and Objectives: Mutual effect of the preliminary and therapeutic intranasal treatment of SD rats with DSIP (8 days) on the outcome of focal stroke, induced with intraluminal middle cerebral occlusion (MCAO), was investigated. Materials and Methods: The groups were the following: MCAO + vehicle, MCAO + DSIP, and SHAM-operated. DSIP or vehicle was applied nasally 60 (±15) minutes prior to the occlusion and for 7 days after reperfusion at dose 120 µg/kg. The battery of behavioral tests was performed on 1, 3, 7, 14, and 21 days after MCAO. Motor coordination and balance and bilateral asymmetry were tested. At the end of the study, animals were euthanized, and their brains were perfused, serial cryoslices were made, and infarction volume in them was calculated. Results: Although brain infarction in DSIP-treated animals was smaller than in vehicle-treated animals, the difference was not significant. However, motor performance in the rotarod test significantly recovered in DSIP-treated animals. Conclusions: Intranasal administration of DSIP in the course of 8 days leads to accelerated recovery of motor functions. 相似文献

The conditions for the derivatization of hydrazine withp-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde and 4-chloro-5,7-dinitrobenzofurazan, extraction preconcentration of derivatives from natural water,
and HPLC determination of the toxicant with diode-array detection were studied. The 5,7-dinitrobenzofurazan derivative was
quantitatively extracted from water with isoamyl alcohol and a mixture of isoamyl alcohol with methylene chloride at pH 3–4.
A procedure was developed for the extraction-chromatographic determination of hydrazine in water with cmin = 0.05 Μg/L and the analytical range 0.12-60 Μg/L. The concentration of hydrazine in lake Kaban water was determined. 相似文献
