In this paper, the energy spectra of the general molecular potential are obtained using the asymptotic iteration method within the framework of non-relativistic quantum mechanics.With the energy spectrum obtained, the vibrational partition function is calculated in a closed form and is used to obtain an expression for other thermodynamic functions such as vibrational mean energy U, vibrational mean free energy F, vibrational entropy S and vibrational specific heat capacity C. These thermodynamic functions are studied for the electronic state \(\mathrm{X}^{1}\Sigma _g^+ \) of \(K_2\) diatomic molecules.  相似文献

The effect of hydrogen bonds on the anisotropy of the diamagnetic susceptibility of 2-amino-3-methyl-benzoic acid, 2-hydroxy-3-methylbenzoic acid and o-aminobenzoic acid has been studied. From measured values of the crystal susceptibilities and molecular orientations, the principal molecular susceptibilities have been calculated. The observed anisotropics are interpreted in the light of the hydrogen bonding of these molecules.  相似文献

Phytochemical screening of nonpolar fractions from the methanol extract of the Bamboo shoot skin Phyllostachys heterocycla var. pubescens resulted in the isolation of a new sterol-glucoside-fatty acid derivative (6’-O-octadeca-8″,11″-dienoyl)-sitosterol-3-O-β-d-glucoside (1), together with six known compounds. The chemical structures of the pure isolated compounds were deduced based on different spectral data. The isolated compounds were assessed to determine their cytotoxic activity, and the results were confirmed by determining their apoptotic activity. Compound 1 was more cytotoxic against the MCF-7 cells (IC50 = 25.8 µM) compared to Fluorouracil (5-FU) (26.98 µM), and it significantly stimulated apoptotic breast cancer cell death with 32.6-fold (16.63% compared to 0.51 for the control) at pre-G1 and G2/M-phase cell cycle arrest and blocked the progression of MCF-7 cells. Additionally, RT-PCR results further confirmed the apoptotic activity of compound 1 by the upregulation of proapoptotic genes (P53; Bax; and caspases 3, 8, and 9) and downregulation of the antiapoptotic genes (BCL2). Finally, the identified compounds, especially 1, were found to have high binding affinity towards both tyrosine-specific protein kinase (TPK) and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor (VEGFR-2) through the molecular docking studies that highlight its mode of action.  相似文献

The A.C. conductivity and complex dielectric constant (relative permittivity) as function of temperature 300<T<500?K measured at different frequencies (f?=?5, 10, 15, 20 and 100?kHz) for polycrystalline samples of p-diiodobenzene (hereafter p-DIB) are presented. The main feature of the behavior of electrical parameters clarified that, the compound undergoes a structural phase transition at ≈?327?K. The interpretation of the behavior of the obtained parameters is outlined and correlated to the crystal structure of the two phases.  相似文献

Three simple and rapid methods for the determination of guanoxan sulphate in tablets, urine and serum are presented. The first method is based on the direct measurement of the first (1D) and second (2D) (peak-trough) derivative values at 274–250 nm and 276–260 urn respectively. The other two methods depend on the formation of a charge- transfer chromogen with either tetracyanoethylene (TCNE) and 7,7,8,8- tetracyanoquinodimethane (TCNQ). The absorbance of the color developed at 416 and 840 nm respectively. The first and second derivative (1D & 2D) values for the charge- transfer products were also measured. The methods were proved to be accurate and reproducible as indicated by relative standard deviation of less than 2%. The proposed methods have been applied to the determination of guanoxan sulphate in tablets, and spiked human urine and serum.  相似文献

The fluorescence and excitation spectra of 4-[5-(2-phenyloxazolyl)]benzenesulfonic acid (PPOS) and N-hexyl-4-[5-(2-phenyloxazolyl)] benzenesulfonamide (PPOSA) were investigated in homogeneous solutions of varying polarities (hexane, heptane, butanol and water) and in aqueous micellar systems of anionic surfactants (bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinate, sodium salt (AOT), sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS)) and cationic surfactants (benzyldimethylhexadecylammonium chloride (CDBA), hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride (CTAB)). These compounds were also investigated in different oil-in-water (o/w) and water-in-oil (w/o) microemulsions of the system composed of SDS, n-butanol, cyclohexane and water. The results revealed that the two probes exhibit pronounced spectral changes in response to the changes in the polarity of the medium, and in hydrophobic—hydrophilic interactions. The spectral behaviour of PPOS and PPOSA in micellar systems indicates that these two probes are incorporated at the interface of the cationic micelles. In microemulsions, however, the probes exhibit different Stokes shifts compared with those found for homogeneous solutions, indicating different salvation processes of both the ground and the excited states.  相似文献

The magnetic susceptibility of the two-dimensional antiferromagnet (CH2)6(NH3)2 FeCl4 is reported. The compound has unusual dependence on its magnetic history below its Neel temperature TN. Though the magnetic ordering is associated with a structural distortion, this distortion does not seem to explain the magnetic behaviour of the compound. The results have been interpreted in terms of mixed magnetic phases which are likely to exist when the sample is cooled in a magnetic field.  相似文献

We report on some electrical properties and solid–solid phase transitions of organic–inorganic hybrid layered halide perovskite and intercalated compound (n-C12H25NH3)2ZnCl4 which is one member of the long-chain compounds of the series (n-CnH2n+1NH3)2,(n = 8–18). The complex dielectric permittivity ?*(ω,T) and the ac conductivity σ (ω,T) were measured as functions of temperature 100 K < T < 390 K and frequency 5 kHz < f < 100 kHz. Moreover, the differential scanning calorimetery and the differential thermal analysis thermograms were performed. The analysis of our data confirms the existence of a structural phase transition at T ≈ (362?±?2) K, where the compound changes its state from intercalation to non-intercalation with a drastic increase in the c-axis by about 16.4%.

The behavior of the frequency-dependent conductivity follows the Jonscher universal power law: σ (ω, T) α?s(?,T). The mechanism of electrical conduction in the low-temperature phase (phase II) can be described as quantum mechanical tunneling model.  相似文献
