Investigation of ring resonators in photonic crystal circuits

In this paper, we propose the implementation of waveguide-coupled ring resonators in photonic crystal integrated circuits. Using two-dimensional finite difference time domain (2D FDTD) method, we study the spectral characteristics of a waveguide-coupled ring carved in two-dimensional photonic crystal of square lattice (2D SLPC) and based on the results, we suitably modify the structure geometry to establish its performance as a ring resonator. We further investigate the effects of ring dimension and crystal parameters on the resonance properties of the ring resonator.

光纤Bragg光栅水听器探头的特性及实验研究

论述了FBG水听器探头基元——光纤Bragg光栅(FBG)的传感特性,分析了FBG的耦合系数、反射率、反射带宽和栅长对FBG水听器传感特性的影响。通过改进FBG水听器探头封装结构,增加了其压力敏感系数。并将实验结果与标准水听器(压电型)比较,标定出FBG的声压灵敏度,在1～25KHz的声波检测范围,其响应平坦度好、信号输出稳定,改进措施是有效的。     

一种实用的准单色光退偏器的研究

用矩阵方法对一种准单色光退偏器Ｌｙｏｔ改进型退偏器进行了详细的理论分析，得到了该退偏器的有效退偏条件为：１）退偏器的总延迟必须足够大；２）晶体楔角或通光孔径必须足够大；３）二晶体光轴夹角必须是４５°。实验表明，该退偏器在４００～８００ｎｍ宽光谱范围内对±１０ｎｍ的任意准单色偏振光进行退偏后，平均的残余偏振度小于１．２％。     

一种求解虚波长路径光网络波长资源优化问题的启发式算法

本文提出了一种虚波长路径光网络的启发式路由选择算法,它可以用来解决以最小化网络所需波长数目为目标的资源优化问题.该算法应用了基于最大概率路径的选路优化策略.对一个样例网络的数值分析结果表明该算法是有效的.     

非晶态HoP5O14的蓝绿波段上转换发光的分析

本文报道了脉冲ＤＣＭ染料激光导致的非晶态ＨｏＰ５Ｏ１４的兰绿波段的上转换发光现象，从实验和理论上对其上转换发光的现象，机理和能道行了测量，分析和计算；结果表明对＾５Ｆ３和Ｓ２能级，其上转换发光主要由离间能量传递机理导致；对５Ｇ４和（５Ｇ３Ｇ）５能级，则步进双光子吸收和离子间能量传递共同参与导致了它们的上转换发光。     

Multiaccess in all-optical networks with wavelength and code concurrency

A major obstacle in realizing fast packet switching in all-optical networks is the large tuning delays of tunable optical devices. This article proposes a multiaccess scheme for all-optical local area networks that employs both wavelength and code concurrency. In this scheme, several users share a wavelength channel through code multiplexing. The delay performance of hybrid wavelength/code division multiaccess is obtained under a simple, suboptimal access protocol based on cyclic search. Due to the reduction in the number of wavelength channels without an associated reduction in transmission concurrency, hybrid multiaccess is robust against tuning delays. At a given network throughput, the hybrid scheme achieves considerably lower delays than that of Wavelength Division Multiple Access even with a small amount of code concurrency. Conversely, the hybrid network can support a higher load when there is a maximum allowable value for the average packet delay.     

Nonlinear Crosstalk Suppression in WDM-SCM Systems

The mechanism of nonlinear crosstalk in WDM-SCM fiber communication systems is investigated. Then the crosstalk suppression method of complementary modulation of twin carriers is introduced and discussed. Aiming at the limitation of this method, a new method named symmetric carrier complementary modulation is presented, and it has shown satisfactory effect in crosstalk reduction.     

Multi-function Device Based on Two Terahertz Optical Asymmetric Demutiplexers

A multi-function device based on two terahertz optical asymmetric demultiplexers (TOAD) is proposed,which can be used simultaneously as demultiplexing,data regeneration,clock recovery and wavelength conversion unit. The device can work at an ultra-high speed optical time-division multiplexing (OTDM) system with relatively low speed components.     

高离化类Ne铕离子的双电子伴线结构的理论研究

在对高离化态类Ne铕离子及其临近的类Na、类Mg离子的n=3→2跃迁的波长和强度详细计算的基础上，考虑了等离子体中单个谱线的展宽和谱线之间的重叠，得到了类Ne铕离子n=3→2的共振线及其类Na和类Mg离子双电子伴线的结构，并系统地分析了这些伴线对共振线波长和强度的影响.
