Amorphous atactic polypropylene (PP) with an average molecular weight of 50,000–100,000 is produced by polymerizing propylene with a ternary Ti(Oiso‐Pr)4 ‐ AlEt2Cl/MgBu2 catalyst at 30–50 °С. Main advantages of this catalyst compared with other catalysts capable of nearly exclusively producing atactic PP (such as some heterogeneous Ziegler‐Natta, metallocene and postmetallocene catalysts) are high activity, low cost and the ease of use: the catalyst is prepared in situ from three commercially available compounds readily soluble in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Organic–inorganic hybrid gels have been synthesized from a multi‐vinyl functional cyclic siloxane, 1,3,5,7‐tetravinyltetramethylcyclotetrasiloxane (TVMCTS), or a cubic silsesquioxane, octavinyloctasilasesquioxane (PVOSS), and α,ω‐dithiol compounds, 1,6‐hexanedithiol (HDT), 1,10‐decanedithiol (DDT), using thiol‐ene reaction in toluene. The network structure of the resulting gels, mesh size and mesh size distribution, was quantitatively characterized by means of a scanning microscopic light scattering (SMILS). The gels obtained from TVMCTS‐HDT formed homogeneous network structure with 1.5–1.6 nm mesh. Relaxation peaks derived from large clusters and/or micro gels were detected in the SMILS analysis of the TVMCTS‐DDT, PVOSS‐HDT, and PVOSS‐DDT gels besides those from the small meshes. The organic–inorganic hybrid gels were also synthesized from TVMCTS, PVOSS with α,ω‐diazide compounds, 1,6‐hexanediazide (HDA), 1,10‐decanediazide (DDA), using azide‐alkene reaction in toluene. All the gels obtained with the azide‐alkene reaction formed the homogeneous network structure. Enthalpy relaxation at the glass transition of the dried samples was detected by differential scanning calorimetry to study the network uniformity of the original gels. The gels synthesized by the azide‐alkene reaction showed larger enthalpy than the gels synthesized by the thiol‐ene reaction, indicating homogeneous network structure in the former gels. © 2016 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. The calorimetric measurements have been made in glassy Se70Te30 and Se70Te28M2 (M?=?Ag, Cd, and Zn) alloys using non-isothermal differential scanning calorimetry technique to see the effects of Ag, Cd, and Zn additives on the glass transition kinetics of binary Se70Te30. From the heating rate dependence of glass transition temperature, T g, different kinetic parameters of glass transition have been evaluated. The composition dependence of glass transition temperature T g and the related activation energy (Et ) is also discussed.  相似文献

Triple diamino-bridged cyclotriphosphazene (1) was reacted in a 1:8 stoichiometry with the sodium derivatives of long-chain diols [1-octanol, 1-decanol, 1-dodecanol, 1-hexadecanol] tetrahydrofuran (THF) at room temperature to form hexa-substituted cyclotriphosphazene derivatives (2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively), whose mesomorphic behaviours were investigated for their possible applications as liquid crystals. The cylindrical-type cyclotriphosphazene derivatives (25) were characterised by mass and elemental analyses and by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), 1H and 31P {1H} NMR spectroscopies. The thermal and mesomorphic properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry and by polarising optical microscopy, respectively. It was found that liquid crystal materials could be obtained from compounds 3 and 4 with alkoxy chains rather than using aromatic ring(s) as mesogens as published previously.  相似文献

We report on the synthesis and characterization of atomically precise one-dimensional diradical peripentacene polymers on a Au(111) surface. By means of high-resolution scanning probe microscopy complemented by theoretical simulations, we provide evidence of their magnetic properties, which arise from the presence of two unpaired spins at their termini. Additionally, we probe a transition of their magnetic properties related to the length of the polymer. Peripentacene dimers exhibit an antiferromagnetic (S=0) singlet ground state. They are characterized by singlet–triplet spin-flip inelastic excitations with an effective exchange coupling (Jeff) of 2.5 meV, whereas trimers and longer peripentacene polymers reveal a paramagnetic nature and feature Kondo fingerprints at each terminus due to the unpaired spin. Our work provides access to the precise fabrication of polymers featuring diradical character which are potentially useful in carbon-based optoelectronics and spintronics.  相似文献

采用球差校正扫描透射电子显微镜(STEM)研究化学气相沉积法制备的二维MoS_(2(1-x))Se_(2x)合金材料中Se元素掺杂、取代的微观过程和机理。定量和统计STEM表征结果发现:Se原子晶界处富集显著,晶界处Se元素含量远高于晶畴内部。进一步研究表明晶界中掺杂取代Se原子的浓度和分布与晶界结构密切相关。主要与晶界处的局域畸变及其诱导的反应活性有关。该结果对于二维过渡金属硫族化物合金体系的可控合成及应用拓展具有重要意义。  相似文献

Considering the well‐known phenomenon of multimelting peak of crystalline polymers, it has been demonstrated that for calculating the degree of crystallinity using the heat of fusion, all the melting peaks observed have to be accounted for regardless of their origin‐recrystallization or presence of different crystalline modifications.  相似文献
