Properties of single heavy flavor baryons in a non-relativistic potential model with colour Coulomb plus a power law confinement
potential have been studied using a simple variational method. The ground-state masses of single heavy baryons and the mass
difference between the J
P =
+ and J
P =
+ states are computed using a spin-dependent two-body potential. Using the spin-flavour structure of the constituting quarks
and by defining an effective confined mass of the constituent quarks within the baryons, the magnetic moments are computed.
The masses and magnetic moments of the single heavy baryons are found to be in accordance with the existing experimental values
and with other theoretical predictions. It is found that an additional attractive interaction of the order of -200 MeV is
required for the antisymmetric states of (Q
c, b) . It is also found that the spin-hyperfine interaction parameters play a decisive role in hadron spectroscopy. 相似文献

We consider the SU(4) Skyrme model with explicit chiral and flavour symmetry-breaking terms. Using the masses of the 15-plet
pseudoscalar mesons as the input, we calculate the masses of the 20-plet baryons. The baryon masses predicted by this model
agree with results based on quark model to about 15%. We find that the generalized Gell-Mann Okubo mass relation is very well

Photoproduction of η -mesons was studied with the Crystal-Barrel detector at ELSA for photon energies in the range from 0.75
to 3GeV. Total and differential cross-sections are presented. The η mesons are detected in two decay modes, in η → 2γ and
in η → 3π0 → 6γ . The cross-sections vary slowly as functions of energy and η production angle suggesting that only few resonances make
significant contributions to the cross-section. For photon energies above 1.5GeV, the differential cross-sections show a strong
forward peak due to meson exchanges in the t channel. A comparison of the η -photoproduction cross-sections with SAID and MAID as well as with a partial-wave analysis
performed on our data in combination with other data sets shows good agreement. The Bonn-Gatchina partial-wave analysis suggests
that the largest contribution to η photoproduction for energies below 3GeV proceeds via three resonances, the well-known N(1535)S
11 , via N(1720)P
13 , and a newly suggested N(2070)D
