Based on multiple scales method, we study the nonlinear properties of a new Fermi-Pasta-Ulam lattice model analytically. It is found that the lattice chain exhibits a novel nonlinear elementary excitation, i.e. a dark soliton. A short‐range force constant model has been applied to investigate the Raman and the infrared wavenumbers in R2BaNiO5 (R = Y, Gd) in their orthorhombic phase of space group Immm. Calculations of zone‐center phonons are made with seven stretching and four bending force constants. The force constants are evaluated by fitting nine Raman and two infrared modes. Two Raman modes are reassigned on the basis of group theoretical calculations. The calculated Raman and infrared modes show good agreement with the observed values. A three‐dimensional (3D) thermoelastic stress analysis is carried out on a single crystal with axisymmetric geometry but with a hexagonal crystallographic symmetry. The crystallographic orientation is off‐axis with respect to the cylindrical coordinate system. By applying a Fourier series expansion with respect to the rotational angle ϕ of the cylindrical coordinates, the 3D boundary value problem is reduced to a sequence of 2D ones on the meridian plane, which are solved by the finite‐element method. In our example, the off‐axis orientation is towards a direction of high symmetry, and therefore only four of the six stress tensor components are non‐zero. Lattice Boltzmann Method is recently developed within numerical schemes for simulating a variety of physical systems. In this paper a new lattice.Bhatnagar-Gross-Krook (LBGK) model for two-dimensional incompressible magnetohydrodynamics (IMHD) is presented. The model is an extension of a hydrodynamics lattice BGK model with 9 velocities on a square lattice, resulting in a model with 17 velocities. Most of the existing LBGK models for MHD can be viewed as compressible schemes to simulate incompressible flows. The compressible effect might lead to some undesirable errors in numerical simulations. In our model the compressible effect has been overcome successfully. The model is then applied to the Hartmann flow, giving reasonable results. 相似文献

The c-axis charge transport of the hole doped triangular antiferromagnet is investigated within the tJ model by considering the incoherent interlayer hopping.It is shown that the c-axis charge transport of the hole doped triangular antiferromagnet is essentially determined by the scattering from the in-plane fluctuation.The c-axis conductivity spectrum shows a lov-energy peak and the unusual high-energy broad band,while the c-axis resistivity is characterized by a crossover from the high temperature metallic-like behavior to the Iow temperature insulating-like behavior,which is qualitatively consistent with those of the hole doped square lattice antiferromagnet. 相似文献

Fe-Al-N films were fabricated by reactive sputtering using a radio-frequency magnetron sputtering system. The effects of Al and N content and annealing temperature on microstructure and magnetic properties were investigated. The Fe-Al-N films, which have good soft magnetic properties, consist of nanocrystalline α-Fe grains and a small amount of other phases in the boundaries of α-Fe grains. The average α-Fe grain size is about 10-15nm. A slight amount of Fe-N and Al-N compounds precipitate in the boundaries of α-Fe grains and suppress their growth. Annealing improves the soft magnetic properties slightly by releasing the residual stress and reducing defects. 相似文献
