A novel technique for anionic surfactant assisted separation and preconcentration of metal cations was developed using ultrasound induced nebulization at MHz frequency. The ions of copper, zinc, cadmium, and calcium were used as model analytes. Analysis of the aerosol using flame atomic absorption spectrometry showed enrichment factors for the metal ions studied between 5 and 8, when dilute solutions containing sodium dodecylsulfate and the metal ions were nebulized. The mechanism of metal ion enrichment was explained based on surfactant adsorption and the droplet model for aerosol droplets. It was demonstrated that further increase in the enrichment factor could be achieved by increasing the ultrasound frequency, thus producing smaller droplets. 相似文献

Ultrasonic degradation of commercially important polymers, styrene-butadiene (SBR) rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene (NBR) rubber, styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), polybutadiene rubber and polystyrene were investigated. The molecular weight distributions were measured using gel permeation chromatography (GPC). A model based on continuous distribution kinetics approach was used to study the time evolution of molecular weight distribution for these polymers during degradation. A polyol synthesis of silver nanoparticles in the presence of ultrasonic irradiation was compared with other configurations (at ambient temperature, 120 °C, and 120 °C with injected solutions) in the absence of ultrasonic irradiation in order to obtain systematic results for morphology and size distribution. For applying ultrasonic irradiation, rather fine and uniform spherical silver particles (21 ± 3.7 nm) were obtained in a simple (at ambient temperature without mechanical stirring) and fast (within 4 min, 3.61 × 10−3 mol min−1) manner than other cases (at ambient temperature (for 8 h, 0.03 × 10−3 mol min−1): 86 ± 16.8 nm, 120 °C (for 12 min, 1.16 × 10−3 mol min−1): 64 ± 14.9 nm, and 120 °C with injected solutions (during 12 min): 35 ± 6.8 nm; all other cases contained anisotropic shaped particles). Even though the temperature of polyol reaction reached only at 80 °C (<120 °C) in the presence of ultrasonic irradiation, a uniform mixing (i.e. enhanced collision between silver particle and surrounding components) by ultrasonic irradiation might induce a better formation kinetics and morphological uniformity. 相似文献

Molecular dynamics simulations of the displacement cascades in Fe-10%Cr systems are used to simulate the primary knocked-on atom events of the irradiation damage at temperatures 300, 600, and 750 K with primary knocked-on atom energies between 1 and 15 keV. The results indicate that the vacancies produced by the cascade are all in the central region of the displacement cascade. During the cascade, all recoil Fe and Cr atoms combine with each other to form Fe-Cr or Fe-Fe interstitial dumbbells as well as interstitial clusters. The number and the size of interstitial clusters increase with the energy of the primary knocked-on atom and the temperature. A few large clusters consist of a large number of Fe interstitials with a few Cr atoms, the rest are Fe-Cr clusters with small and medium sizes. The interstitial dumbbells of Fe-Fe and Fe-Cr are in the lan111ran and lan110ran series directions, respectively. 相似文献

为制备出在130~210nm波段具有良好光谱性能的铝反射膜,优化设计了铝反射镜中铝层和保护层氟化镁的厚度,理论确定铝层和氟化镁保护层最佳厚度分别为80nm和33nm。采用热舟蒸发工艺,在BK7基片上制备了Al反射膜样品,获得了130~210nm波长范围内反射率均大于80%的金属铝膜。研究了铝层沉积速率和紫外辐照处理对薄膜性能的影响,并考察了铝膜光谱性能的时效性。结果表明铝层沉积速率越快,制备的铝膜反射率越高;合理地存放铝膜元件,可以长时间内保持铝膜的光谱性能。适当的紫外辐照处理能进一步提高铝膜在真空紫外波段的反射率。 相似文献

Variations in velocity of sound and amplitude of the signal of a commercial magnetorheological fluid under different magnetic fields are studied experimentally. Different factors such as orientation, uniformity, geometry and intensity of the magnetic field are investigated. An increase in the change of MR fluid acoustical properties is obtained when the magnetic field intensity is risen. In addition, these properties show an opposite behavior when a magnetic field is applied parallel or perpendicular to the ultrasound propagation. Experiments using an electromagnet and permanent magnets as the source of magnetic field are also compared. Properties such as anisotropy in sound velocity and amplitude make these materials interesting regarding applications. 相似文献

Ultrasonic spray pyrolysis method was used to prepare Nb-doped TiO2 porous microspheres with an average diameter of 500 nm for solar photocatalytic applications. The effect of Nb-doping on morphology, structure, surface area, as well as spectral absorption properties of TiO2 microspheres was investigated with SEM, TEM, XRD, Raman spectra, BET, and UV-Vis absorption spectra. The Nb-doping decreased the grain size of TiO2 porous microsphere, and influenced its surface area and pore size distribution dependent on the doping concentration, but changed negligibly the morphology and size of TiO2 microspheres. Moreover, the Nb-doping was observed to extend the spectral absorption of TiO2 into visible spectrum, and the absorption onset was red-shifted for about 88 nm at a doping level of 5% compared to pristine TiO2 microspheres. Under solar or visible irradiation, Nb-doped TiO2 microspheres showed higher photocatalytic activity for methylene blue degradation compared with TiO2 microspheres, which could be ascribed to the extended light absorption range and the suppression of electron-hole pair recombination. 相似文献
