黄土物理力学性质相对较差,具有大孔隙、湿陷性强、强度低的特点,加之黄土区的地形地貌、地质条件比较复杂,导致黄土隧道修筑过程中病害较多。利用SIR2000型探地雷达、RSM-SY5非金属声波探测仪和BJSD-2型激光限界仪等多种方法对某黄土公路隧道病害进行了探测,探测表明隧道洞身出现环向和横向裂缝,衬砌厚度不足,局部地段存在集中涌水和渗漏水,根据探测结果对隧道病害成因进行了详细的分析。在此基础上结合黄土隧道的基本特征,有针对性地提出了锚喷加固、套衬加仰拱、套衬和下加固围岩3套病害治理方案。并利用数值模拟对隧道治理前后围岩稳定性和衬砌结构受力状态进行了分析,结果表明治理方案衬砌受力状态基本对称,结构的安全系数有较大的提高。  相似文献

The origin of sulcus vocalis is debatable, it may arise from a congenital or acquired cyst that ruptures leaving a sulcus attached to the deep layer of the lamina propria. This has been hypothesized but never shown before.

Conclusion

Lipid-based materials, such as substitutes for saturated fats (oleogels) structurally modified with ultrasonic standing waves (USW), have been developed by our group. To enable their potential application in food products, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics, practical and economical production methods are needed. Here, we report scale-up of our procedure of structurally modifying oleogels via the use of USW by a factor of 200 compared to our previous microfluidic chamber. To this end, we compared three different USW chamber prototypes through finite element simulations (FEM) and experimental work. Imaging of the internal structure of USW-treated oleogels was used as feedback for successful development of chambers, i.e., the formation of band-like structures was the guiding factor in chamber development. We then studied the bulk mechanical properties by a uniaxial compression test of the sonicated oleogels obtained with the most promising USW chamber, and sampled local mechanical properties using scanning acoustic microscopy. The results were interpreted using a hyperelastic foam model. The stability of the sonicated oleogels was compared to control samples using automated image analysis oil-release tests. This work enabled the effective mechanical-structural manipulation of oleogels in volumes of 10–100 mL, thus paving the way for USW treatments of large-scale lipid-based materials.  相似文献

This contribution presents a novel optical method to determine the pH-value during the high pressure treatment of foods. Up to date an appropriate online measurement device does not exist. The present study makes use of a multivariate approach, using the optical properties of pH indicators. An indicator mix of 16 different pH-sensitive substances is applied. The calibration of the system is performed taking five different buffer substances (TRIS, CAPS, citric, phosphoric and acetic acid buffers), applying thermodynamical considerations, to calculate the pH-value at high pressure. The corresponding spectra of the indicator mix is measured and fed to a multivariate data model together with calculated pH values. Different chemometric models have been constructed to estimate the pH value based upon the spectrum of the indicator mix. The calibration device covers a pH range from 2 to 8. After calibration it was possible to determine the pH value at pressures up to 450 MPa with an accuracy of 0.02 pH units in 9 different test media.  相似文献

This article presents a study in which applications were integrated in the Multivariable Calculus course at the Technion in the framework of supplementary tutorials. The purpose of the study was to test the opportunity of extending the conventional curriculum by optional applied problem-solving activities and get initial evidence on the possible impact of the tutorials on students’ beliefs about the value of learning mathematics with applications. The study lasted three semesters and consisted of three experiments in which supplementary tutorials were offered in different forms: a weekly evening meeting for interested students, a weekly extra hour added to the conventional calculus class, and a workshop which introduces mathematics concepts from the application perspective. The study reveals: (1) significant positive effect of the tutorials on the students’ beliefs (in all three experiments); (2) statistically significant advantage of the group involved in the tutorials in relation to the group that learned in the conventional way (second experiment); (3) students’ positive evaluation of the workshops for better understanding the course lectures (third experiment). Grounding on the study experience, we propose for further discussion a stage model of the applied problem solving cycle.  相似文献

Purpose

To assess the predictability of the response to radiotherapy of uterine carcinoma, this study retrospectively analyzed dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance images (DCE-MRI) taken before radiotherapy.

Materials and Methods

Forty-two patients with uterine carcinoma were studied, of whom 22 had adenocarcinoma and 20 had squamous cell carcinoma (SCC). In DCE-MRI analysis, two parameters, SIe and Rdown, were measured. SIe is a median value for the degree of signal intensity change in all selected pixels in the tumor at 1–2 min after contrast agent injection. Rdown is the ratio of the number of down-sloped pixels to that of all selected pixels 3–7 min after injection. The tumor volume reduction rate (TVRR) was measured by MRI-based volumetry in pre- and post-radiotherapy transverse T2-weighted images.

Results

Overall, TVRR was significantly correlated to both SIe (r=0.37, P=.015) and Rdown (r=0.73, P<.0001). In the separate patient groups, SIe but not Rdown was significantly different between the adenocarcinoma and SCC patients (t=3.64, P<.001). TVRR was not correlated to SIe in any group. TVRR was significantly correlated to Rdown in adenocarcinoma patients (r=0.78, P<.001) but not in SCC patients.

Conclusion

SIe may reflect differences in histological characteristics. Rdown may be useful for predicting the response to radiotherapy of uterine carcinoma.  相似文献

This study investigates the effect of reactor design parameters on cadmium removal from industrial wastewater discharged by the Tunisian Chemical Group (TCG) to improve as much as possible efficiency and cost of electrocoagulation (EC) process. Based on an examination of the design parameters one by one, the best cadmium removal was achieved for an inter-electrode distance (die) of 0.5 cm, monopolar connection mode, stirring speed of 300 rev min?1, surface-area-to-volume ratio (S/V) of 13.6 m?1, and an initial temperature of 50 °C. These operating conditions are allowed to achieve efficient removal in a relatively short operating time with the lowest energy consumption and cost possible. The present study proved that the parameters that have an effect on the operating cost are the electrode configuration, inter-electrode distance and S/V ratio. The energy consumption, the pH evolution, and the treatment cost were studied. The investigation of the effect of all the selected optimum EC design parameters together on the removal of cadmium from the TCG wastewater proved that the treatment was highly efficient; 100% of cadmium removal was reached in 5 min, with a very low power consumption (1.6 kW h m?3) and very low cost (0.116 TND m?3). Moreover, EC was found to be capable of removing cadmium as well as other pollutants at the same time from the case-study industrial wastewater. The investigation carried out in this work explores and proposes a very cost-effective treatment method to remove heavy metals from industrial wastewater if compared to results reported about cost of this treatment process through other widely used technologies such as coagulation (4.36 Tunisian National Dinar (TND) m?3) and precipitation (9.96 TND m?3) employed in previous studies.  相似文献
