Transmission of 10 GHz,3.5 ps Optical Pulses Over 100-km Standard Fiber Using Mid-span Spectral Inversion

Transmission of 3.5ps optical pulses over 100-km standard fiber was demonstrated by employing phase conjugation in a semiconductor optical amplifier to compensate the chromatic dispersion.The pulses were broadened to 5 ps after transmission,which confirms the applicability of this technique to ultra high-bit-rate system beyond 40 Gb/s.     

大气传输特性对目标与背景红外辐射特性的影响

本文对影响大气红外辐射透过率和大气自身的红外辐射因素及计算方法进行了讨论，利用大气传输特性分析软件－LOWTRAN7分析计算了大气红外辐射的透过率和大气自身的红外辐射，并讨论了大气辐射与吸收对目标与背景红外辐射特性的影响，对利用理论模型得到的目标与背景红外辐射图像进行了修正，获得了比较接近实际的红外模拟热图像。     

Optimal Design of Thin Film Filters for IR Integrated Photonic Amplifiers

This paper addresses in the design of thin film filter for IR broadband integrated photonic amplifiers. A cascaded multilayer medium thin film filter structure is presented. This proposed filter consists of some different filtering unit cells with different central wavelength and bandwidth, and each cell can suppress certain peak gain at a specific wavelength. The intrinsical gain spectrum of amplifier is obtained by solving a set of rate and power propagation equations with finite difference time-domain(FDTD)-based overlapping integral-Runge Kutter(RK) method. The effect of transmittance spectrum of the proposed cascaded multilayer medium thin film filter on flattening gain is discussed. The transmission function of the cascaded multilayer medium thin film filter is obtained. Finally, a real device is fabricated, it is shown that the design is valid.     

离子辐照产生的空位型缺陷对Si中B原子热扩散的影响

使用二次离子质谱仪分析了附加的空位型缺陷对单晶Si中注入B原子热扩散的影响. Si中B原子是通过30keV B离子室温注入而引入的, 注入剂量为2×10¹⁴cm^－2. Si中附加的空位型缺陷通过两种方式产生: 一是采用40或160keV He离子注入单晶Si到剂量5×10¹⁶cm^－2,并经800°C退火1h; 二是采用0.5MeV F或O离子辐照单晶Si到剂量5×10¹⁵cm^－2.结果显示, 不同方式产生的附加的空位型缺陷均能抑制注入的B原子在随后热激活退火中发生瞬间增强扩散效应, 并且抑制的效果依赖于离子的种类和离子的能量. 结合透射电子显微镜和卢瑟福背散射分析结果对以上抑制效应进行了定性的讨论.     

双信道光混沌通信系统的理论模型及性能研究

针对一种新型的双信道光混沌通信系统实验方案，建立了描述其工作特性的理论模型；通过 数值模拟结果与报道的实验结果的比较，证实了该理论模型的合理性. 利用该模型，基于小 信号微扰理论，推导出了激光器传输函数的表达式；研究了信号能在系统中很好传递对系统 参量的要求；定量地分析了信道干扰对系统同步性能的影响. 对250MHz的调制信号在系统中 的传输和解调进行了数值研究，结果表明，信号在传输过程中能得到很好的隐藏，且在输出 端易于解调. 关键词： 光混沌通信 双信道 传输函数 信道干扰     

Numerical characterization of nanopillar photonic crystal waveguides and directional couplers

We numerically characterize a novel type of a photonic crystal waveguide, which consists of several rows of periodically arranged dielectric cylinders. In such a nanopillar photonic crystal waveguide, light confinement is due to the total internal reflection. A nanopillar waveguide is a multimode waveguide, where the number of modes is equal to the number of rows building the waveguide. The strong coupling between individual waveguides leads to the proposal of an ultrashort directional coupler based on nanopillar waveguides. We present a systematic analysis of the dispersion and transmission efficiency of nanopillar photonic crystal waveguides and directional couplers. Plane wave expansion and finite difference time domain methods were used to characterize numerically nanopillar photonic crystal structures both in two- and three-dimensional spaces.     

Imaging polycrystalline and smoke MgO surfaces with atomic force microscopy: a case study of high resolution image on a polycrystalline oxide

Atomic force microscopy in contact, non-contact and in high resolution modes have been used to image MgO powder samples, obtained at different degree of sintering, starting from Mg(OH)₂ decomposition or obtained in form of smoke. From high resolution AFM images of MgO smoke, the lattice periodicity on regular surfaces has been revealed for the first time, under ambient conditions. The high surface perfection of the microcrystals has been further confirmed by HRTEM analysis. To obtain more information on the local structure of the single faces, in terms of type and distribution of the surface active sites, the adsorption of a simple probe molecule (CO) on such surfaces has been investigated by means of FTIR spectroscopy.

将“逆规则”傅里叶级数展开法和反射透射系数阵递推算法进行推广。对任意面形及任意入射角的电磁各向异性介质光栅衍射特性进行研究，该方法物理概念清晰，数值计算稳定收敛，计算速度快，并与其它方法的计算结果进行了比较。
