The recoil proton polarization in the π0 production off the proton with longitudinally polarized electron beam has been studied as a means to measure quadrupole components in the N to Δ transition. On top of the Δ resonance a high sensitivity to a possible Coulomb quadrupole excitation is found in parallel kinematics. The ratio of S 1+/M 1+ multipole amplitudes can be determined from the ratio of the two in-scattering-plane recoil proton polarization components. Avoiding the absolute measurement of the polarizations, such a ratio allows small experimental uncertainties. Furthermore, the electron helicity independent proton polarization component enables the characterization of resonant and non-resonant pieces. Received: 3 November 1997  相似文献

Spintronics materials may be classified under concentrated magnetic semiconductors, semimetals and half-metals, semimagnetic semiconductors, and dilute magnetic semiconductors (DMS). The nature of ferromagnetism, that occurs in p-type DMS with an increase in the transition metal content, is governed by the proposed kinematic exchange involving the kinetic energy gain of the heavy hole carriers caused by their hybridization with 3d electrons of impurities. The synthesis of DMS (In,Mn)Sb is proposed on the basis of hint at its TC from kinematic mechanism. The effect of the dimensionality-driven TC increase is derived for spintronics materials such as delta-doped DMS (DDMS) and DMS heterostructures. The state-of-the-art in the field of synthesis and research of “new” DMS with announced “high TC” is also outlined with particular attention to chalcopyrite-based systems.  相似文献

Interaction of aluminium with cerium oxide was studied by photoelectron spectroscopy of Al/CeO2(1 1 1) and CeO2/Al(1 1 1) model systems. It was found in both cases that metallic aluminium was immediately oxidized, CeO2 was partially reduced and a mixed oxide with cerium present as Ce3+ was formed. The compound is probably cerium aluminate CeAlO3 mixed with Al2O3 or Ce2O3. In both cases the intermixing was limited by the diffusion of aluminium into ceria. The excess of deposited material above this limit formed AlOx and CeO2 overlayers on the top of the mixed oxide + aluminate/CeO2 and mixed oxide + aluminate/Al films, respectively.  相似文献

In this paper, we bring an unequal payoff allocation mechanism into evolutionary public goods game on scale-free networks and focus on the cooperative behavior of the system. The unequal mechanism can be tuned by one parameter α: if α>0, the hub nodes can use its degree advantage to collect more payoff; if α<0, numerous non-hub nodes will obtain more payoff in a single round game. Simulation results show that the cooperation level has a non-trivial dependence on α. For the small enhancement factor r, the cooperator frequency can be promoted by both negative and positive α. For large r, there exists an optimal α that can obtain the highest cooperation level. Our results may sharpen the understanding of the emergence of cooperation induced by the unequal payoff allocation mechanism.  相似文献

Herein we demonstrate that amorphous oxide semiconductor (AOS) superlattices composed of a‐In–Zn–O (well) and a‐In–Ga–Zn–O (barrier) layers, fabricated on SiO2 glass substrate by pulsed laser deposition at room temperature, exhibited an enhanced Seebeck coefficient |S |. The |S | value increases drastically with decreasing a‐In–Zn–O thickness (dIZO) when dIZO < ∼5 nm, and reached 73 µV K–1 (dIZO = 0.3 nm), which is ∼4 times larger than that of bulk |S |3D (19 µV K–1), while it kept its high electrical conductivity, clearly demonstrating that the quantum size effect can be utilized in AOS superlattices. We investigate the evolution of cooperative behaviors of small-world networking agents in a snowdrift game mode, where two agents (nodes) are connected with probability depending on their spatial Euclidean lattice distance in the power-law form controlled by an exponent α. Extensive numerical simulations indicate that the game dynamics crucially depends on the spatial topological structure of underlying networks with different values of the exponent α. Especially, in the distance-independent case of α=0, the small-world connectivity pattern contributes to an enhancement of cooperation compared with that in regular lattices, even for the case of having a high cost-to-benefit ratio r. However, with the increment of α>0, when r≥0.4, the spatial distance-dependent small-world (SDSW) structure tends to inhibit the evolution of cooperation in the snowdrift game.  相似文献

Using a fast multi-window NMR technique, we have measured in-situ the mean jump width x of mobile dislocations during plastic deformation in a series of NaCl single crystals with varying Ca++ content. Aside from immobile forest dislocations, the Ca++ impurities form additional obstacles for the moving dislocations thus lowering x. We found that the Ca++-related obstacles exhibit a pronounced non-random distribution which results in a corresponding broad distribution of x. We show that the data can be evaluated by means of an appropriate distribution function g(1/x) with an uncommon dependence of the observed fitting parameters on the Ca++ content. As expected, quenching of a sample leads to a more uniform distribution of the Ca++-related obstacles resulting in a corresponding narrowing of g(1/x).  相似文献

A two-step pulsed UV-laser process which independently controls the metallurgical and electrical junction depth of a Si1–x Ge x /Si heterojunction diode has been implemented. Pulsed Laser-Induced Epitaxy (PLIE) combined with Gas-immersion Laser Doping (GILD) are used to fabricate boron-doped heteroepitaxial p +/N Si1–x Ge x /Si layers and diodes. Borontrifluoride is used as the gaseous dopant source in the GILD process step. Boron incorporation and activation are investigated as a function of laser energy fluence and the number of laser pulses using SIMS and Halleffect measurements. The dose of incorporated dopant is on the order of 1013 cm–2 per pulse. The B profiles obtained are flat except for a peak at the interface resulting from segregation effects. The B and Ge distributions are compared with shifts in the turn-on voltage of p +/N Si1–x /Si heterojunction diodes produced by the process. The GILD/PLIE process is spatially selective with the resulting diodes fabricated being quasiplanar. Hole mobilities in the heavily doped Si1–x Ge x films are found to be slightly lower than in comparable Si films.Presently at the Oregon Graduate Institute, Beaverton, OR 97006, USA  相似文献

An ecological economic model of trawling is presented to demonstrate the effect of trawling location choice strategy on net input (rate of economic gain of fish caught per time spent less costs). Fishing location choice is considered to be a dynamic process whereby trawlers chose from among a repertoire of plastic strategies that they modify if their gains fall below a fixed proportion of the mean gains of the fleet as a whole. The distribution of fishing across different areas of a fishery follows an approximate ideal free distribution (IFD) with varying noise due to uncertainty. The least-productive areas are not utilised because initial net input never reaches the mean yield of better areas subject to competitive exploitation. In cases, where there is a weak temporal autocorrelation between fish stocks in a specific location, a plastic strategy of local translocation between trawls mixed with longer-range translocation increases realised input. The trawler can change its translocation strategy in the light of information about recent trawling success compared to its long-term average but, in contrast to predictions of the Marginal Value Theorem (MVT) model, does not know for certain what it will find by moving, so may need to sample new patches. The combination of the two types of translocation mirrored beam-trawling strategies used by the Dutch fleet and the resultant distribution of trawling effort is confirmed by analysis of historical effort distribution of British otter trawling fleets in the North Sea. Fisheries exploitation represents an area where dynamic agent-based adaptive models may be a better representation of the economic dynamics of a fleet than classically inspired optimisation models.  相似文献
