Lefschetz–Verdier Trace Formula and a Generalization of a Theorem of Fujiwara

The goal of this paper is to generalize a theorem of Fujiwara (Deligne’s conjecture) to the situation appearing in a joint work [KV] with David Kazhdan on the global Langlands correspondence over function fields. Moreover, our proof is more elementary than the original one and stays in the realm of ordinary algebraic geometry, that is, does not use rigid geometry. We also give a proof of the Lefschetz–Verdier trace formula and of the additivity of filtered trace maps, thus making the paper essentially self-contained. Continuous modified Newton’s-type method for nonlinear operator equations

A nonlinear operator equation F(x)=0, F:H→H, in a Hilbert space is considered. Continuous Newton’s-type procedures based on a construction of a dynamical system with the trajectory starting at some initial point x ₀ and becoming asymptotically close to a solution of F(x)=0 as t→+∞ are discussed. Well-posed and ill-posed problems are investigated. 复合多层介质在可变温度和集中荷载作用下的位移和应力

研究了多层介质中的热弹性位移和应力.多层介质具有不同厚度,各层又具有不同的弹性性质,最上层表面上作用热荷载和集中荷载.假设各层分别是均匀、各向同性弹性材料,各层相关的位移分量是轴对称的,对称轴为各层表面的垂线.因此,各层应力函数满足无体力的单一方程.利用积分变换法求解了该方程,对由任意多个层数构造的多层介质,给出了其相应层数基础热弹性位移和应力的解析表达式.并对3层介质和4层介质时的数值结果进行了比较.     

复Finsler流形上的Koppelman-Leray-Norguet公式

利用不变积分核(Berndtsson核),复Finsler度量和联系于Chern-Finsler联络的非线性联络,研究复Finsler流形上具有逐块光滑C~((1))边界的有界域上(p,q)型微分形式的积分表示,得到了(p,q)型微分形式的Koppelman-Leray-Norguet公式和■-方程的解．作为应用,利用复Finsler度量和联系于Chern-Finsler联络的非线性联络,给出了Stein流形上具有逐块光滑C~((1))边界的有界域上(p,q)型微分形式的Koppelman- Leray-Norguet公式以及■-方程的解,并且得到了Stein流形上实非退化强拟凸多面体上(p,q)型微分形式的积分表示式和■-方程的解．     

Diffraction of normal shock wave by yawed wedges

The diffraction of normal shock with yawed wedges of small angles have been considered in this paper. Vorticity distribution of the fluid particle over the diffracted shock has been determined for several Mach numbers of the shock wave. The Mach reflection effects have also been investigated when the bend is concave to the flow.     

Digital volume gratings

An optical element constructed by stacking a set of binary-phase grating sheets can simulate the functions of optically recorded volume gratings. Our electromagnetic numerical study also shows that if one of the grating sheets is replaced by another one with different grating period, power spectrum of the diffracted wave changes completely with extra diffraction orders. This property will claim strong advantage in security document applications. Analysis of alignment error reveals interesting phenomena concerning to how misalignment affects diffraction efficiency.     

Revisiting Gouy phase

The aim of this paper is to highlight the added value of the generalized Gouy phase shift introduced by Siegman. Although suited for optical systems study, including those more complex than free space, we note that it did not meet the use that it deserves so far. The analysis of the whole of the ideas and analytical approaches associated to the important concept of the Gouy phase proves its effectiveness.

Usually, the resonance condition is systematically built on the basis of the equivalent empty cavity. Unfortunately, this approach does not cover some of the useful parameters of the real resonator. By means of the generalized Gouy phase and the self-consistent complex parameter q, we derive here a new approach for the calculation of the resonance condition for the real cavity. Moreover, the use of the generalized Gouy phase clearly simplifies the study of resonators, while making it possible to avoid the use of the Huygens’ Fresnel integral.     

聚能射流的断裂时间

从描述聚能射流失稳的一维近似方程出发，导出了聚能射流断裂时间的近似公式。这个近似公式定量显示了屈服应力、本构关系、粘度和径向收缩效应等对射流断裂时间的影响，在４个不同的特殊近似下，可以自然演化为近１０年来所发表的几个半经验解析公式，并且在合理的参数范围内，公式给出的断裂时间曲线覆盖了射流断裂时间的全部实验点。
