Let U be a flat right R-module and N an infinite cardinal number.A left R-module M is said to be (N,U)-coherent if every finitely generated submodule of every finitely generated M-projective module in σ[M] is (N,U)-finitely presented in σ[M].It is proved under some additional conditions that a left R-module M is (N,U)-coherent if and only if Л^Ni∈I U is M-flat as a right R-module if and only if the (N,U)-coherent dimension of M is equal to zero.We also give some characterizations of left (N,U)-coherent dimension of rings and show that the left N-coherent dimension of a ring R is the supremum of (N,U)-coherent dimensions of R for all flat right R-modules U.  相似文献

We introduce o(p+1q+1)-invariant bilinear differential operators on the space of tensor densities on Rn generalizing the well-known bilinear sl2-invariant differential operators in the one-dimensional case, called Transvectants or Rankin–Cohen brackets. The present work gives some characterizations of R-modules with the direct summand sum property (in short DSSP), that is of those R-modules for which the sum of any two direct summands, so the submodule generated by their union, is a direct summand, too. In this paper we determine the forcing linearity number for V when N is a direct sum of cyclic modules. In this paper, we prove the rank one case of Dwork's conjecture on the -adic meromorphic continuation of the pure slope L-functions arising from the slope decomposition of an overconvergent F-crystal. Further explicit information about zeros and poles of the pure slope L-functions are also obtained, including an application to the Gouvêa-Mazur type conjecture in this setting.

This review focuses on how the mechanistic approach of physical organic chemistry can be used to elucidate the mechanisms behind complex biochemical networks. The dynamics of biochemical reaction networks is difficult to describe by considering their individual reactions, just as the dynamics of organic reactions is difficult to describe by considering individual electrons and atomic nuclei. Physical organic chemists have developed a useful set of tools to predict the outcome of organic reactions by separating the interacting molecules into modules (functional groups), and defining general rules for how these modules interact (mechanisms). This review shows how these tools of physical organic chemistry may be used to describe reaction networks. In addition, it describes the application of these tools to develop a mechanistic understanding of the dynamics of the complex network of hemostasis, which regulates blood clotting. The output energy of photovoltaic (PV) modules is influenced by the spectral irradiance distribution of the solar spectrum under outdoor conditions. To rate the precise output energy of PV modules, the correction of short circuit current (ISC) based on actual environmental conditions is needed, because ISC significantly depends on the shape of the spectral irradiance distribution. The average photon energy (APE) is a zero-dimensional index for spectral irradiance distribution, and APE value uniquely describes the shape of a solar spectrum. Thus, APE has an impact on ISC of PV modules. In this contribution, the relationship between APE coefficient and ISC of the multi-crystalline silicon, single-crystalline silicon, heterojunction intrinsic thin-layer, back contact, copper indium selenide and cadmium telluride PV modules has explored. It is revealed that APE value changes the ISC of PV modules which appeared to have immense possibilities of ISC correction using APE coefficient. This new approach can be very effective for precise rating the output energy of PV modules under actual outdoor conditions.  相似文献
