基于网络均衡的电力市场排污权交易政策研究

本文构建了电力供应链网络均衡模型,网络中包含三级决策主体,分别是:发电厂、电力服务商和用电市场.在分析各级决策者行为的基础上,得到了基于变分不等式的均衡条件,研究了针对发电厂的排污权交易政策设计问题.研究发现:排污交易政策实施后,总排污量不会超过给定的排污权总量;发电厂清洁生产能力的差异对排污权交易政策影响显著.     

Stable coexistence mediated by specialist harvesting in a two zooplankton–phytoplankton system

This paper deals with a predator–prey model with specialist harvesting, representing a two predators (Zooplankton) and one resource (Phytoplankton) system. First, the existence and stability of equilibria is analyzed both from local and global point of view. Our results indicate that a specialist harvesting which is discriminate may mediate the coexistence of the two zooplankton species which competitively exclude each other in absence harvesting. Although in most cases increasing harvesting reduces the two zooplankton species numbers, when harvesting leads to coexistence, it may also lead to increase the two zooplankton species numbers. Furthermore, to protect fish population from over exploitation a control instrument tax is imposed. The problem of optimal taxation policy is then solved by using Pontryagin’s maximal principle. It is established that the zero discounting leads to the maximization of the net economic revenue to the society and an infinite discount rate leads to complete dissipation of the net economic revenue to the society. Finally, the impact of harvesting is mentioned along with numerical results to provide some support to the analytical findings.     

Synthetic study of a moss-produced oxylipin and its structural revision

The proposed structure for a moss-produced acetylenic oxylipin (10-keto-type structure) was synthesized from a known glycidol derivative by an 11-step sequence involving epoxide ring opening with a terminal acetylene and enzymatic hydrolysis of a methyl ester intermediate. The NMR spectra of the proposed structure was, however, different from those of the natural oxylipin, which prompted us to synthesize its 9-epi-isomer and two diastereomeric 12-keto-type positional isomers. Comparison of the NMR spectra of the three isomers with those of the natural oxylipin indicated that the natural oxylipin was actually a mixture of the two diastereomeric positional isomers.     

A computational study on fill rate expressions for single-stage periodic review under normal demand and constant lead time

This paper reviews fill rate expressions for a single stage periodic review inventory system under normal demand and constant lead time, discusses the relationship among all expressions in the literature, and evaluates their robustness and accuracy. Monte Carlo simulation is used to numerically compare all expressions. We present conditions under which some expressions produce higher values than others.     

Total Synthesis and Structural Revision of the Antibiotic Tetrapeptide GE81112A

The total synthesis of the naturally occurring antibiotic GE81112A, a densely functionalized tetrapeptide, is reported. Comparison of spectral data with those of the natural product and the lack of biological activity of the synthesized compound led us to revise the published configuration of the 3‐hydroxypipecolic acid moiety. This hypothesis was fully validated by the synthesis of the corresponding epimer.     

Nonbelief and the Desire-As-Belief Thesis

I show the incompatibility of two theses: (a) to desire the truth of p amounts to believing a certain proposition about the value of p’s truth; (b) one cannot be said to desire the truth of p if one believes that p is true. Thesis (a), the Desire-As-Belief Thesis, has received much attention since the late 1980s. Thesis (b) is an epistemic variant of Socrates’ remark in the Symposium that one cannot desire what one already has. It turns out that (a) and (b) cannot both be true if it is possible for there to exist an agent who has a desire initially, say the desire for the truth of p, and then expands the corpus of propositions she believes to include p. This result provides a new route to the denial of (a).

Asymmetric total synthesis of botcinic acid and its derivatives: synthetic revision of the structure of botcinolides

The stereoselective total syntheses of botcinic acid, botcinic acid methyl ester, 3-O-acetylbotcinic acid methyl ester, botcineric acid, and botcinin E were achieved. The structures of these compounds have been unequivocally determined through their total synthesis, and they are identified with the revised structures of botcinolide, 4-O-methylbotcinolide, 3-O-acetyl-5-O-methylbotcinolide, homobotcinolide, and 2-epibotcinolide, respectively.

Chemists and Biochemists during the National Socialist Era

Chemistry and biochemistry in Germany was notably affected by the dismissal and emigration of Jewish scientists. The expulsion of Jewish scientists aided to significantly reduce the international regard for German science, particularly in biochemistry, physical chemistry, and quantum chemistry, after 1945. In most cases remaining scientists adjusted quickly after 1933 to the new political circumstances, with a few exceptions. A number of them even actively supported the politics of National Socialism. This fact as well as the common stance to forget the 12 years of National Socialist rule complicated the exchange of international scientific knowledge after 1945 and delayed affiliation of the weakened fields of research to the level of international research.
