Nanocomposites based on polyvinylidene fluoride–trifluoroethylene copolymer and up to 4 vol % of hydrophobized clay nanoparticles are investigated. The structure, piezoelectric properties, and oxygen permeability of solvent cast films are analyzed before and after annealing above the Curie temperature of the polymer. Exfoliation of the clay takes place at concentrations up to 1 vol %, beyond which it rapidly drops and is absent at a concentration of 4 vol %. The presence of clay does not change the crystallinity of the polymer, but leads to a threefold decrease of the oxygen permeability at a concentration of 0.5 vol %. Annealing at 130 °C increases the crystallinity, the proportion of β phase up to 94%, and the piezoelectric coefficient by 20–40% at clay fractions below 1 vol %. Annealing also leads to a remarkable 3‐ to 10‐fold decrease of O2 permeability and to intriguing changes of the activation energy for O2 transport, which decreases from 56 kJ/mol for the as‐cast polymer to below 10 kJ/mol for the polymer and exfoliated composite. © 2017 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Additive manufacturing (AM), otherwise known as three‐dimensional (3D) printing, is driving major innovations in many areas, such as engineering, manufacturing, art, education, and medicine. Although a considerable amount of progress has been made in this field, additional research work is required to overcome various remaining challenges. Recently, one of the actively researched areas lies in the AM of smart materials and structures. Electroactive materials incorporated in 3D printing have given birth to 4D printing, where 3D printed structures can perform as actuating and/or sensing systems, making it possible to deliver electrical signals under external mechanical stimuli and vice versa. In this paper, we present a lightweight, low cost piezoelectric material based on the dispersion of inorganic ferroelectric submicron particles in a polymer matrix. We report on how the proposed material is compatible with the AM process. A piezoelectric method is proposed for the determination of sulfite in concentration range 1 × 10–7–1 × 10–5 mol/1. The method is based on the redox reaction of sulfite with iodine followed by measuring frequency change of the piezoelectric crystal caused by the unreacted iodine. Narrow band gaps and excellent ferroelectricity are intrinsically paradoxical in ferroelectrics as the leakage current caused by an increase in the number of thermally excited carriers will lead to a deterioration of ferroelectricity. A new molecular ferroelectric, hexane‐1,6‐diammonium pentaiodobismuth (HDA‐BiI5), was now developed through band gap engineering of organic–inorganic hybrid materials. It features an intrinsic band gap of 1.89 eV, and thus represents the first molecular ferroelectric with a band gap of less than 2.0 eV. Simultaneously, low‐temperature solution processing was successfully applied to fabricate high‐quality ferroelectric thin films based on HDA‐BiI5, for which high‐precision controllable domain flips were realized. Owing to its narrow band gap and excellent ferroelectricity, HDA‐BiI5 can be considered as a milestone in the exploitation of molecular ferroelectrics, with promising applications in high‐density data storage and photovoltaic conversion.  相似文献

Theory on frequencymetric titration has been proposed based on equivalent circuit of piezoelectric quartz crystal (PQC) in liquid and oscillation equation of TTL-PQC oscillator, and the theoretical equation derived representing the frequency shift with respect to the solution conductivity. We consider here a mathematical model describing the bilateral frictional contact between a thermo‐piezoelectric body and a thermally conductive foundation. We model the behavior of the material with a linear thermo‐electro‐elastic constitutive law. The process is assumed to be quasistatic and the contact is modeled with a nonlocal version of Coulomb's dry friction law, in which the frictional heat generated in the process, is taken into account. We drive a variational formulation of the problem and establish the existence of its weak solution.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a piezoelectric dissipative system in which a dissipation term is given through the mechanical part of the stress tensor. The abstract Cauchy problem associated to this system generates a semigroup of linear operators. We establish the analyticity of this semigroup that, in turn, implies the exponential decay of the corresponding energy and the strong regularity of the solutions. 在一定的假设条件下,即不考虑界面裂纹尖端处裂纹面的相互叠入现象,研究了压电材料Ⅰ-型界面裂纹问题.利用Fourier变换使问题的求解转换为求解两对对偶积分方程.进而把裂纹表面位移差展开成Jacobi多项式形式来求解对偶积分方程.结果表明裂纹尖端应力场和电位移场的奇异性与均匀材料裂纹问题的奇异性相同.当上下半平面材料相同时,解可以退化而得到其精确解.  相似文献

建立了轴对称条件下,层间有双向弹簧夹层的弹性地基上双层板力学模型,应用Hankel(汉克尔)变换法推演得到了任意轴对称荷载作用下的Winkler(文克勒)地基、双参数地基和弹性半空间体地基上无限大双层板的一般解析解,给出了双层板的挠度、弯矩、剪力,以及层间反力和位移的计算公式.进而,利用该力学模型的解,分析了层间条件对双层板挠度、弯矩的影响规律,计算了上、下层板的中性轴位置,讨论了层间双向弹簧系数的取值方法.结果表明:1)随着层间竖向弹簧参数增大,上层板挠度和弯曲应力减小,下层板挠度和弯曲应力增大;随着层间水平摩阻参数增大,上、下层板的挠度和弯矩均减小;2)当双层板的剪切和压缩效应系数分别取2/3,3/5时,双层板的剪切和压缩效应可较好地被考虑;3)上、下层板的中性轴位置是变化的,它随着距荷载圆中心点的距离增大而向上、下层板各自中面趋近.  相似文献
