Correlation Inequalities and Applications to Vector-Valued Gaussian Random Variables and Fractional Brownian Motion

In this paper we extend certain correlation inequalities for vector-valued Gaussian random variables due to Kolmogorov and Rozanov. The inequalities are applied to sequences of Gaussian random variables and Gaussian processes. For sequences of Gaussian random variables satisfying a correlation assumption, we prove a Borel-Cantelli lemma, maximal inequalities and several laws of large numbers. This extends results of Be?ka and Ciesielski and of Hytönen and the author. In the second part of the paper we consider a certain class of vector-valued Gaussian processes which are α-Hölder continuous in p-th moment. For these processes we obtain Besov regularity of the paths of order α. We also obtain estimates for the moments in the Besov norm. In particular, the results are applied to vector-valued fractional Brownian motions. These results extend earlier work of Ciesielski, Kerkyacharian and Roynette and of Hytönen and the author.

Wavelet Bases for Confinements of the Infrared Divergence

We propose the construction of wavelet bases with pseudo-polynomials adapted to the homogeneous Sobolev spaces , s−n/2∈ℕ. They provide a confinement of the infrared divergence by decomposing as a direct sum X ⊕ Y where X is a “small” space which carries the divergence and Y can be embedded in . In the case of we also construct such an orthonormal basis, which provides a confinement of the Mumford process.     

Absolutely summing multipliers on abstract Hardy spaces

We study summing multipliers from Banach spaces of analytic functions on the unit disc of the complex plane to the complex Banach sequence lattices. The domain spaces are abstract variants of the classical Hardy spaces generated by the complex symmetric spaces. Applying interpolation methods, we prove the Hausdorff Young and Hardy-Littlewood type theorems. We show applications of these results to study summing multipliers from the Hardy-Orlicz spaces to the Orlicz sequence lattices. The obtained results extend the well-known results for the Hp spaces.     

Characterizations of Riesz spaces with b-property

A Riesz space E is said to have b-property if each subset which is order bounded in E^~~ is order bounded in E. The relationship between b-property and completeness, being a retract and the absolute weak topology |σ|(E^~, E) is studied. Perfect Riesz spaces are characterized in terms of b-property. It is shown that b-property coincides with the Levi property in Dedekind complete Frechet lattices.
