The spin-quadrupole interaction and the 0<Superscript>+</Superscript> excitations in <Superscript>158</Superscript>Gd

In this work, the effect of spin-quadrupole forces on the 0⁺ sates in ¹⁵⁸Gd has been investigated. For this purpose, the model Hamiltonian including monopole pairing, quadrupole-quadrupole and spin-quadrupole forces has been diagonalized in one phonon basis. In conclusion, for the distribution of energies of the states and their collective properties, fairly good results have been obtained.     

Crossing of the πd<Subscript>5/2</Subscript> and πg<Subscript>7/2</Subscript> orbitals in the <Subscript>51</Subscript>Sb isotopes

Self-consistent calculations using the D1S Gogny force have been performed in order to study the mechanism involved in the crossing of the πd _5/2 and πg _7/2 orbitals in the Sb isotopes. This inversion is well predicted by the HFB + blocking calculations with spherical symmetry performed for the odd-A Sb isotopes. In addition, several HFB and HF calculations have been performed for even-even nuclei of the five neighbouring isotopic chains (Z = 46 to 54, from the proton dripline to N = 82). The results obtained for the binding energies of the two proton orbitals indicate that the radii of the systems play an important role in the crossing, even though some particular πν interactions also give a contribution. The spin-orbit interaction, which is known to be concentrated mainly at the nuclear surface, is proposed to be the main responsible of the crossing.     

Effects of phonon-phonon coupling on low-lying states in neutron-rich Sn isotopes

Starting from an effective Skyrme interaction we present a method to take into account the coupling between one- and two-phonon terms in the wave functions of excited states. The approach is a development of a finite rank separable approximation for the quasiparticle RPA calculations proposed in our previous work. The influence of the phonon-phonon coupling on energies and transition probabilities for the low-lying quadrupole and octupole states in the neutron-rich Sn isotopes is studied.     

On the error estimates for the rotational pressure-correction projection methods

In this paper we study the rotational form of the pressure-correction method that was proposed by Timmermans, Minev, and Van De Vosse. We show that the rotational form of the algorithm provides better accuracy in terms of the -norm of the velocity and of the -norm of the pressure than the standard form.

     

Optimal Error Estimates in Operator-Norm Approximations of Semigroups

We demonstrate that an idea related to the Central Limit Theorem and approximations by accompanying laws in probability theory is useful to get optimal convergence rates in some approximation formulas for operators. As examples we provide a bound for Euler approximations of bounded holomorphic semigroups; a bound for error in approximation of a power of operators by accompanying exponents, which is a useful tool in analysis of the Trotter–Kato formula, and can be considered as an extended version of Chernoff's lemma.     

On the Problem of Describing Sequences of Best Trigonometric Rational Approximations

For a strictly decreasing sequence a_{n n=0} of nonnegative real numbers converging to zero, we construct a continuous 2-periodic function f such that R^T _n(f) = a_n, n=0,1,2,..., where R^T _n(f) are best approximations of the function f in uniform norm by trigonometric rational functions of degree at most n.     

On the Geometry of Inner Approximations to the Set of Null Controllability for Constrained Linear Systems

The problem of obtaining inner approximations to the set of null controllability for linear systems is considered, and the geometry of certain sets arising in the approximation of using linear feedback is explored. A two-dimensional example is worked in detail in order to delineate the limitations to the use of linear feedback.     

栅耦合型静电泄放保护结构设计

提出了一种新型栅耦合型静电泄放(ESD)保护器件——压焊块电容栅耦合型保护管.该结构不仅解决了原有栅耦合型结构对特定ESD冲击不能及时响应的问题，而且节省了版图面积，提高了ESD失效电压.0.5 μm标准互补型金属氧化物半导体工艺流片测试结果表明，该结构人体模型ESD失效电压超过8 kV.给出了栅耦合型ESD保护结构中ESD检测结构的设计方法，能够精确计算检测结构中电容和电阻的取值. 关键词： 静电泄放 栅耦合 金属氧化物半导体场效应管 压焊块电容
